*Pari Pov*

He said it!

Of course a little late, but he confessed right!

I so wanted to tell him that I love him too, but my dad's morning call came into my mind.

I promised dad that I will meet this certain person with an open mind and tell him my decision. So if I confess that I love Mr.Akash, then it is so wrong to meet another one.

And I always fulfill my promises. I have to do it even though it hurts to be not able to tell the person you love that you love them.

When Mr.Akash confessed that he loves me, I realized that I love him too, but I can't say it to him until I meet this person.

I don't want to wait anymore, so after reaching home, I called my dad.

When he lifted, he said, "Princess I was just about to call you."

"Ok, Dad. But about this marriage proposal, I..." He didn't let me finish.

And he said, "Princess you already promised that you will meet him right. You can't back down now."

"But..." I again started to say and again, he cut me off saying, "There is nothing to discuss in that matter. I am not asking you to marry him now; I am just asking you to meet him. Anyway, I need to tell you something."

I sighed and asked, "What is it, dad?"

"You can't meet him tomorrow because he is busy so come here the next day." Dad replied.

"You got to be kidding me, dad! I already applied for leave and got it." I said not believing it.

"Then apply again and go tomorrow to the office."

"No, I will not apply again, but I have to go there tomorrow. I will just come for only one day and will return the same day." I said.

"Ok, your wish. But don't forget your promise." He said hanging up.

Promise! Promise! Promise! I just hate that word completely now.

The main problem is I have to go tomorrow to my office and face everyone.

Until now, I thought that after I return I have to face them and that I will confess my feelings to him.

But no, just because of that stupid person, whoever it is! This is called punishment, do you know that god?

I let sleep consume me after scolding Mr.X for his proposal in my mind.

Yeah, I named him Mr.X because I don't know his name, and I didn't even ask my dad about that. Who needs it when I know that I am going to reject him right?

After reaching the office, I went inside the elevator and reached my floor and saw my four friends looking at me shocked.

The first one to react is Rani and she asked, "You are not going home to meet someone?"

"That someone is busy today, so I have to meet him tomorrow. So I came today." I replied.

She nodded, and they all continued to do their work.

"So... That's it?" I asked them.

"What else?" Sakshi asked.

"Uhmm... Are you not going to ask me about yesterday?" I asked them confused.

"We kind of figured out the reason. You must have thought about the promise, you gave for your dad right?" Imran asked.

I nodded in reply and went towards the cabin and unlocked it and sat on my chair.

Mr.Akash didn't arrive in his original time, even after some time he didn't.

So I went outside and asked Rani "Where is Mr.Akash?"

She looked at me confused and asked, "Don't you know?"

I shook my head, replying to her that I don't know.

"Today he has a live interview at 11 am." She replied.

"Oh, I didn't know." I said.

"Pari?" I heard Maam calling me from her door.

"Yes, Maam!"

"You all come inside and watch the interview. And Pari you need to note his answers too so that we can correct if he makes any mistakes for future use." Maam said.

I nodded and went inside her cabin, taking note pad.

We all settled down, and Maam switched on the television. We all calmly watched his interview, and I noted all his answers which he replied to the questions about our company.

In the end, reporter asked, "Now, Mr.Stone can we ask you personal questions?"

"Sure." He replied.

"We all saw how Ms.Sheela betrayed you after getting engaged to you. What do you want to say?" Reporter asked.

"It didn't affect me that much because it was just an arranged marriage in the first place." Mr.Akash replied.

"So many girls definitely want to know what qualities you want in your future wife."

He thought for a second and replied "She must be smart of course. She must also be kind-hearted and friendly with everyone."

"These are general qualities Mr.Stone. Say some different and specific ones."

He looked directly at the camera and said, "She must be so stubborn to not be able to please her even by me."

Immediately Rani cleared her throat from beside me.

"That is totally different. Anything else?" the reporter asked.

He nodded and replied "She makes the finest coffee. I mean she must make the finest coffee."

This time I heard all my friends along with Maam clearing their throats.

I didn't even turn to look at them because the shock was written all over my face.

When Mr.Akash did take a master's degree in shocking the people?

I am asking this because he is doing a very good job in shocking me completely. I shook my head and left Maam's cabin.

After lunch, he may come here so I packed my things and left the office informing Maam. Because today morning I thought, I could face him, but after his interview, I don't want to see him until I confess my love.

Immediately I took a flight and reached my home.

When I reached there after some time Dad said, "He will come along with his family tomorrow morning."

"When did he even see me send a proposal for me?" I asked no one in particular.

"You didn't tell her?" Mom asked Dad.

I narrowed my eyes at him and asked, "What are you hiding Dad?"

"Uhmm... Actually, he didn't even see you. His family saw you and sent this proposal to you." he replied calmly not looking at me.

"Dad! You lied to me, and I am meeting someone who too doesn't like me." I shouted.

"He will like you. Who is out there not to like my princess?" he said proudly.

"Dad, this is important. If this proposal had not happened, my life would have been different." I said.

"What are you talking about?"

"I will tell you tomorrow when they all leave ok." I replied.

He nodded, and we all went to our rooms to sleep.

While sleeping, I took another class of that Mr.X in my mind. Then I remembered I still didn't know his name.

I just hope by tomorrow this all will be over...

*Mr.Stone Pov*

After the interview, I reached my company and went directly towards Di's cabin.

"So, Di, how was it?" I asked her. Because before going, I asked her to point out any mistakes and note them down for future use.

"Well, there were very few mistakes. Pari noted them in this book." Di replied.

"Wait? Pari is here? Did she decide not to meet any stupid?" I asked her.

"She was here but not now because she left immediately after the interview." Di replied.

I am actually disappointed because she is going to meet someone.

"And your replies for future wife qualities are so good." Di continued saying.

"What can I say my future wife is the best." I said.

"So, you have already decided! Then this will be easy." Di said.

"What will be?" I asked her confused.

"Mom asked us to join her in going to Kolkata right?" Di asked.

"Yeah! But I said 'No' to her already. I don't want to go to that place again Di. I miss Dad more when we go there." I replied.

"I know Akash, but we can't live our whole lives ignoring the fact that Kolkata is our hometown. And missing him is not a bad one right. Mom will be happy if you come. So come with us this time." Di said.

"But Di..." I started to say, but she cut me off and said, "It will be useful for you even in Pari's Matter."

"Like how?" I asked her.

She gave me 'Are you kidding me' look and asked, "Did you become so dumb little brother?"

"Di! What are you trying to say?"

"Where is Mr.Khanna's company situated?" she asked.

"In Kolkata. So?" I asked.

"Oh my God! I can't believe it. If his company is in Kolkata, then where does he live? Before you answer that please tell me, who is Pari's father?" she asked.

It took a few seconds to understand what Di is trying to say.

"So, Mr.Khanna lives in Kolkata. That means Pari too. Ok, now I understand, but what should we do after going there?" I asked her.

She facepalmed herself and was about to reply, but I cut her off and said, "You don't need to reply because I already know what to do. I am just teasing you."

"So, mission crashing the Pari's meeting with some stupid." she said and held her hand.

I returned the gesture, but I saw another evil glint in her eyes.

Now, what is she planning to do?

Anyway Pari I am going to come for you and beat that stupid...
