I understand beginners might be new to the world of descriptions. So sometimes they might write descriptions without feeling it themselves with their own senses.

First off feel calm while writing descriptions. Next think of the most aesthetic things possible.

Say your writing about a male love interest's hair.

Annnnnnd it wavy. His eyes are green. And the feeling of his touch is soft. 

So the first thing that came to my mind were: oceans, lily pads, cotton.

His brown locks rippled like that of an ocean calmly producing waves through it's murky water as he stood in front of me, his air curling even more with the pressure of the slow breeze. His eyes probed into mine, reminding how similar his green specs resembled that of the pads of lilies, tinges of emerald and the raw greens of the forest coating the waxy leaves. 

To top it all of, his arms took me in a warm embrace, my assumption of him having calloused hand completely disappearing, his touch bare and faint engulfing me in blankets made from heavy fleece of cotton; a promise to never leave me again.
