Pit raced down the hallway to the Arms Altar, I tried to match his pace without running, I didn't want to tire before the mission started.

Pit tried to stop, skittering across the floor to get right in front of the door. I slow down my pace just as I approached the door.

Pit opened the door and sounds of centurions making hearts filled the corridor. Pit went to one side of the altar choosing the right Palutena Bow. I went to the other side of the altar, when Pit wasn't looking, I pulled my Palutena Bow (from the first chapter) out and hid it between two undesirable weapons, no one would ever use. I hope no one would find it...it was the first gift Pit gave to me at a "We Are Brothers" party, I hid a smile thinking about that and looked at my choice of Dark Pit staffs.

"I can't believe your troops still make these," I tell Pit. Pit picks up a Palutena Bow and responds, "Of course. Lady Palutena says it's always good to have a surplus of weapons, to adapt in different situations."

I nodded and started picking up power pieces, and made sure I had lightweight. I still don't get why staffs make you run in slow motion, there staffs for Palutena's sake!!! Well, I finished my power piece and looked at Pit. Pit was finishing his power piece board so I went ahead and exited the room heading toward the Grand Room.

Pit caught up to me and I mentioned how slow he was. He rolled his eyes not sensing there was a playful tone in his voice. We walked I to the Grand Room, you could see fear hiding behind her eyes and she held her staff tightly, making her knuckles turn even whiter.

"I see you two are energized and ready," she sad happily, though her eyes kept drifting to the window. I ignored it and put one fist to the other and smiled. I couldn't wait to destroy Underworld troops...and stop other innocents from dying.

"If it's truly Hades were talking about... Then, I'm ready to send that creep of a god into the Chaos Vortex!" I respond. Pit lightly laughs, I give him a glance and he realizes I was dead serious.

"Ahem. Yes, well. We are ready to take flight and eliminate Thanatos, Lady Palutena," Pit says.

Palutena nodded and waved her staff across an empty area of space, the doorway to our mission opened. Pit smiled, running towards the door and opened his mouth, "Lets do-" I put an arm out blocking him and say, "Hold up."

Pit gave me a confused look of course. "What's wrong now?" Pit asked, you could tell he wanted to start destroying Underworld troops soon. I pointed to the window Palutena was looking out early, she caught sight of it when I halted Pit.

The fear behind her well hidden eyes now showed pure horror on her face. Pit ran to the window not believing it was true.

The moon engulfed the sun, the clouds swallowing the sky. The sky was know pitch black, the temperature started to drop. I could just hear Hades' voice saying, "This is my realm now, prepare to suffer."
