Author's Pov

A beautiful woman stares outside through the window of her big wooden office. Ashes lay on the floor with smoke everywhere in the air. The soldiers wearing white gown-like dresses moved the bodies and helped the injured people.

The woman sighs, her blonde hair falling to her face, hiding her pink cheeks. She closes her white eyes and relaxes against the soft velvet chair.

A million thoughts were running around her but most importantly, she wanted her back now. A smile creeps on her face when she starts thinking about her. I just want her in my arms.

A sudden knock on the door cuts her thoughts. She whispers a small 'Come in' and the door opens. Comes in a handsome man with blonde hair, his face was pale and his eyes were blue. A light smile was on his face when he saw the woman sitting there.

"My queen" He bows. The woman smiles, her back still facing the young man.

"You can call me mother, dear" She says, her voice sweet as melody.

"I am sure you know why I am here, mother. Everyone is waiting for her." He says. The queen stands up, showing her beautiful white gown which was flowing on the floor. Her neck was decorated with pearl jewelry. She moves forward, each step with grace.

Her aura was commanding yet safe and comfortable.  She smiles at his son, "My dear, do not worry. We will see her soon. We just have to wait for the right time to come and then she will be us, becoming one of us and we all will be happy again."

Her son nods, his smile zipped in a tight one. He didn't like the idea of staying away from her, he has waited too long. He wishes to have his princess in his arms. He wants to stay with her, spend time with her and play with her.

"I know you don't want to wait, dear. I too feel sad when I think that I still can't see her but patience is important. Even though it's over, we still have to make sure everything is right and back on track. We can't risk her life and you know the reason so please, be a little more patient. We already knew this would happen. Right?" The woman asks gently and her son nods, giving her a small smile.

He would do anything to protect her. No matter what, he will make sure she is okay.

"How long will it take?" Her son asks and she pauses.

After thinking a little she replies, "14 years according to them."

The son grins and nods happily, "Which means four more months"

He was happy. After waiting for years, he would finally see her. Of course, he will have to wait for four more months but that's alright with her, he could wait a little more for her. Anything for her.
