Y/n L/n is currently at the new age Academy the members of the occult research Club have left and they won't be back for at least 10 days right now class is over and he is heading to the Jade forest for some privacy so that he can start his training in peace without interruption or discovery

Y/n: okay I think we're far enough away.

Vaatu: I agree let us begin your training.

Vaatu emerged from Y/n's body Y/n thought he was different he was no longer just 6 ft tall or 6 ft long depending on how you want to look at it instead now he was 30 feet long and or tall his markings had become more detailed and more prominent on his body he had even grown a few extra tendrils.

Y/n: whoa you got big boy what you been eating?!

Vaatu: I've been feeding off of your power I must say it is the nectar of the Gods and it has replenished my strength when you first found me I was on the verge of death but now I am stronger than ever and every moment I spend in your body I become more powerful with every passing second.

Y/n: Oooooooooooooooook Shall We Begin my training?

Vaatu: yes let us begin

Y/n: so how does this work I got to throw rocks at me and I dodge them are you going to teach me some awesome moves some physical exercise a 10-mile hike, how's this going to work?

Vaatu: it is quite simple I am going to help you discover who you truly are and to do that we must unlock your chakras?

Vaatu: your chakras basically there are seven pools of energy in the body each one deals with a certain type of energy and they are each blocked by an emotional type of Muk I will help you unblock your chakras and once all 7 have been opened you will remember who you are and your powers will come naturally.

Y/n: well then let's do this thing!!!

Vaatu: excellent first sit in a meditative position.

Y/n L/n did as instructed.

Vaatu: now prepare yourself opening your chakras is one of the most intense experiences anyone can ever experience so once we begin there is no going back.

Y/n: I'm ready

Vaatu: first is the earth chakra located at the base of the spine it deals with survival and is blocked by fear what are you most afraid of let your fears become clear to you~

Y/n's fear became real right in front of his eyes he was surrounded by pure black darkness and in front of him was a twisted dark version of himself and he was surrounded by the corpses of his friends.

Vaatu: Y/n your vision is not real you are concerned for your own Survival you must surrender your fear allow it to Flow Away.

Y/n L/n did as instructed and soon enough his vision faded away and his Earth chakra was open.

Vaatu: excellent now let us move on.

The two of them made their way to a waterfall there they sat before the waterfall and they began the next part of the training.

Vaatu: next is the water chakra this chakra deals with pleasure and is blocked by guilt now look at all the guilt that burdens you allow them to become clear, what do you blame yourself for?

Y/n did as instructed his guilt became clear he felt guilty about all the destruction he has caused and not remembering how he did it.

Vaatu: do not allow a thing such as guilt to poison your mind and your energy allow it to Flow Away.

Y/n L/n did as instructed allowing his guilt to Flow Away and eventually his water chakra was opened.

Vaatu: excellent we must move quickly.

They made their way to the base of a mountain there they could see the Setting Sun.

Vaatu: next is the fire chakra located in the stomach this chakra deals with willpower and is blocked by shame now what are you ashamed of, what are your biggest disappointments in yourself?

Y/n L/n saw a vision of his own confusion and his constant questioning of who he is.

Y/n: I can't remember who I am why can't I remember?

Vaatu: your identity will become clear soon enough but for now you must let your disappointment and shame Flow Away.

Y/n L/n did as instructed and soon enough his fire chakra was open.

Vaatu: excellent now we must move quickly there was so much to do and so little time.

They made their way to the ruins in the Jade Forest there they began the next part of the training.

Vaatu: the next chakra is located in the heart it deals with love and is blocked by grief lay all of your grief out in front of you.

Y/n closed his eyes and soon enough he saw visions of a blond-haired woman she was very beautiful she had a smile on her face and she looked so familiar but he couldn't place his finger on it but he knew one thing as soon as you looked upon her she looked back at him and smiled and he instantly knew how he knew this woman.

Y/n: that's my sister I have a sister!!!

Y/n instantly became sad because he knew that she was dead.

Vaatu: you indeed have felt a great loss but love is a type of energy it can never truly be destroyed or disappear it can only transform the love your sister had for you is not gone from the world it has been reborn in the form of new love.

Y/n instantly saw the face of his best friend Midnight and the faces of all his other friends soon enough the grief he felt vanished.

Vaatu: excellent you have opened the chakra of your heart now we must get going.

The two of them made their way to a cave at the base of the mountain inside the cave was a large stone monument of a man that Y/n did not recognize he recognized the statue and they continued the training.

Vaatu: the 5th in the chain is the sound chakra located in the throat it deals with truth and is blocked by lies the ones we tell ourselves as well as others.

Y/n began to see if the lies he had told himself soon enough he had a vision of himself as a monster not just one type of monster but many different types he had seen himself causing pain at the Academy pain against the bullies who picked on Velvet and causing death to the Grimm and covers.

Y/n: is that me?!

Vaatu: yes that is you you don't know this but somehow you have subconsciously been blocking out the memories of your powers and abilities.

Y/n: but why would I do that?

Vaatu: I do not know but you must accept this reality this is your power your power is derived from all forms of Darkness physical spiritual and emotional.

Y/n L/n accepted his reality and soon enough the chakra of Truth was opened.

Vaatu: excellent you have opened the chakra of Truth now come, we are so close.

Night had finally Fallen and now the two of them have made their way high up one of the mountains that surround at the Academy they had found a temple hidden behind the mountain they entered the temple it looked like it had been updated and well kept but there was no one there he made his way into the inner Sanctum and there Y/n L/n sat down and got ready for the next part of his training.

Y/n: let us continue

Vaatu: the next chakra in the line is unfortunately and ironically the light chakra located at the center of the forehead it deals with insight and is blocked by illusion the greatest illusion of this world is the illusion of separation things you think are separate and different but are actually one in the same.

Y/n: like all the different humanoid races of the world?

Vaatu: exactly even though they all live as if divided they are actually very similar and came from the same source they are all connected.

Y/n: they are all connected I understand now.

Vaatu: yes you are very much correct and now a lot of that illusion the Flow away and show you the truth of this world.

Y/n did as instructed allowing the illusion to fall away from his eyes and allowing the truth of the world to flow into him opening his chakra.

Vaatu: excellent work now we must move quickly the the full moon is high in the sky and we must move quickly before it reaches its zenith.

The two of them made their way high up the mountain until eventually they reached the top of the mountain there they arrived at a plateau a top of the mountain once they were on the highest point of the island Y/n L/n sat down and they began the final part of the training.

Y/n: this is the final chakra isn't it?

Vaatu: you are correct once you have opened this chakra you will have full control over your powers you will be aware of everything around you when you are using your powers and you will know who you really are you will be able to do things you thought were not possible you will become more powerful than you could ever dream of.

Y/n: I'm ready let's do this thing!

Vaatu: the thought chakra is located at the crown of the head it deals with pure cosmic energy and is blocked by Earthly attachment what attaches you to this world.

Y/n L/n allowed all of his attachments to the world become clear to him he saw everyone he had made friends with he saw every last one of his friends even his best friend all of them made him happy and attached him to the world.

Vaatu: now let all of those attachments go let them Flow Away forgotten.

At first Y/n L/n didn't want to do this he wanted to stop he wanted nothing more than to stop all of this he didn't want to let go of all of his friends he didn't want to be alone but he knew that if he stopped now he wouldn't get the answers he so rightfully deserved and desired so badly so he decided the best thing to do was to do as he was instructed he allowed his attachments to Flow Away abandoned and forgotten as soon as he did it finally happened the dam broke and soon enough he could feel the cosmic energy of the universe flowing into his body a pure black Aura surrounded his body soon enough his aura begin to flare like a great fire and soon enough that fire became a raging firestorm he was levitated into the air his eyes had become jet black his whole body was pulsing with unimaginable power his hair stood on end in a Vegeta like fashion the Earth began to shake and Quake the moon turned blood red and the sun became black his power began to flare up to unimaginable levels until eventually it all stopped he landed on the ground on his own two feet his eyes opened and his hair settled he now knew exactly who he was he knew the truth of his nature his existence he knew who he truly was his memories had been restored.

Vaatu: Master is that you?

???: yes and no

Vaatu: what do you mean master?

???: I am your master but I am more than just the darkness I am something far more important I am something far more meaningful I am something much more strong I am something far beyond the darkness I am Y/n L/n and I am the darkness!

Vaatu: I do not understand

Vaatu immediately flew back into Y/n's body their energies combined together causing The Power Within Y/n's body to ascend even higher than it already was once he was at full strength he made his way down the mountain and back down to the academy he had to have a serious discussion with the Headmasters he made his way back to his dorm to find Midnight she looked very concerned she immediately ran up to him and hugged him.

Midnight: Y/n I was so worried about you when I couldn't find you I thought something horrible had happened to you where did you go?!

Y/n: I have been doing some training and now I have something extremely important to tell the Headmasters and I wish for you to come with me.

Midnight: okay let's go then.

The two of them made their way to the headmaster's office when they got there they entered the office to be greeted by the three headmasters.

Ozpin: Ah Y/n And Nemuri it's so good to see you both again how can we help you both?

Y/n: let's just say I have something very important to tell you all.

The director: and what would that be?

Y/n: I have been doing some training and now I have discovered something very interesting.

The three Headmasters along with Midnight we're becoming a bit nervous at what they were hearing.

Lord Gremory: and what would that be?

Y/n: I have discovered the truth of my identity I know who I am.

Everyone besides Y/n L/n became deathly pale and the office became deathly quiet the four staff members were absolutely terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought.

The four staff members had no idea what to say it was as if they were just told the end of the world was going to happen in T minus 10 seconds all of them were ready for the fight of their lives but nothing came.

Ozpin: so you know who you truly are?

Y/n: yes but it does not define who I am I am Y/n L/n I maybe the darkness but I am not evil.

Soon enough the four staff members breathed a sigh of relief.

Y/n: I know you all kept my identity secret and if I may say I'm happy you did.

The director: I don't understand why are you happy that we kept your true identity a secret for so long?

Y/n: because I guarantee something bad would have happened if I had found out from a different source.

Lord Gremory: we're so glad to hear that you're actually agreeing with our methods.

Y/n: I am very happy and now that I know who I truly am and what I can do it means that I know the first thing I'm going to do with my new power.

Lord Gremory: and what would that be?

Y/n: I'm going to right a wrong and save a friend but first I must play the waiting game.

Y/n L/n made his way to the door.

Y/n: come on Midnight I'm tired and I would like to go back to my dorm.

Midnight: I agree you've had a long day and I think a bit of rest could do all of us good.

With that said the two of them left the office Y/n L/n and Midnight made their way back to dorm 1408 when they got there they immediately made their way to the bedroom Y/n L/n smiled at Midnight.

Midnight: so are we still best friends?

Y/n: I want nothing more than for us to be best friends just because I know who I truly am doesn't mean that I'm someone different it's kind of like what my friends told me you are who you choose to be and I choose to be Y/n L/n.
