He checked for the last time if the number three on his cheek was written clearly and then locked his room's door, putting the phone in his pocket. He went downstairs. Jisung needed to go outside before Hyunjin's arrival because he didn't want him and his mother to meet. He was on the good way to accomplishing this plan because he had some time left. Slowly he went to the corridor, starting to dress up.
"I'm leaving, mum" he shouted, grabbing his denim jacket.
But before he could leave the house, his mother appeared in the corridor. She rested her body on the wall, holding a phone in her hand.
"Where are you going?" she asked calmly. The brown-haired boy rolled his eyes, putting on the jacket.
"At match" Jisung answered. The woman raised her eyebrows.
"So where's Felix?" she added. "You always go with him".
The brown-haired licked his lips nervously. His mother was right - he has never been at a match with someone besides Felix. He didn't know what to say, but someone did it for him. He heard the sound of a ringing bell. He was in a trap. The woman went nearer the door and opened it. Then she saw Hyunjin's handsome face, which made her eyes open wider.
"And who's that handsome boy?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.
Hyunjin looked confused. His sight made its way from the dark-haired boy to his mother. He didn't know what was happening at all. Han started to blush furiously. Shame was eating him up.
"This is..." he stuttered out, but the black-haired boy interrupted him.
"Hwang Hyunjin, it's nice to meet you" he said.
The woman glanced at the basketball player, looking at his black hair, shocked face and their team's hoodie with a number three on it. She looked back at her son and on his cheek, she found exactly the same number. She nodded her head, holding the younger's hand.
"Han Soyoung, it's nice to meet you too" she answered, smiling kindly. She moved a little bit, letting her son walk past. "Have fun" she added, practically forcing her son to get outside the home. Before she closed the door, she smiled, raising her eyebrows, which made Jisung blush even more.
When the door was finally closed, and they were both alone, Hyunjin fell in a laugh, looking at the younger, who rolled his eyes.
"I haven't expected that" the black-haired sighed, still laughing. Han hit his arm, walking down small stairs.
"Very funny" he mumbled, looking at the car, which was standing in front of his house. "It's nice to see you, by the way".
Before he could do anything, the black-haired wrapped his arm around the smaller's waist. Hwang pecked the top of the younger's head, which wasn't covered by this black beanie that he's been wearing every day.
"It's nice to see you too" he whispered. And even though Jisung felt warmth spreading all around his body, he moved from Hwang's arms, touring in his direction and placing his finger on the older's forehead.
"You'll be late, Mr Hwang" Jisung laughed, looking at the older's face. "We'll cuddle later, now we don't have time for it. The car is waiting for us".
"There's always time for eating, sex and cuddles" he said, making Jisung roll his eyes.
"I'm really curious what your coach will say when his ace will be late".
"Don't be so pessimistic" Hyunjin grunted, then opened the car's door. "You'll get bored, believe me. You don't have to hurry".
They entered the car. Jisung's cheeks turned red when he thought about what happened the last time when he was here. Hyunjin turned on the music, starting their ride.
"You talk more when we're chatting" Hyunjin suddenly mumbled. He turned right at the traffic lights. The school was only a few minutes apart from Jisung's house, so after a moment they appeared in the familiar neighbourhood.
"Sometimes it's easier to write something stupid than to say something wise" he answered when Hyunjin turned off the car near the school.
Even though Hyunjin hasn't said anything, Jisung's words made him think about them. Jisung was right and those few words caused questions. Weren't they also about him?
They left the car and then the taller one opened the car's boot, drawing out his sports bag. Before Jisung could do anything, the black-haired joined him, without any resistance sliding his hand into Han's hip pocket. The shorter boy opened his mouth widely, looking at Hwang. He really wanted to hide the fact, that his cheeks turned red for another time.
They walked in silence in the school's direction. The building was filled with students who went there for the match. They didn't want to waste more time, so they walked in the changing room's direction. Jisung didn't want to leave Hyunjin, but he knew that the older had to meet his team. When they reached the changing room, Jisung turned around in the taller's direction, raising his head and smiling shyly.
"Good luck" he whispered, letting himself smile widely.
Hwang took a step in the latter's direction, tilting his head. Hyunjin opened his arms, smiling honestly.
"Can I have a motivational hug?" Hyunjin asked, pouting and making Jisung roll back his eyes.
But even though he reacted like that, he stood on his tip-toes and hugged the latter tightly. The other wrapped his hands around the shorter's waist, pulling his small body nearer himself. Hyunjin just wanted nothing besides Jisung's presence at this moment. He knew that they couldn't stay like this for a long time, but the only thing that mattered then was the fact, that his hope was cuddling with him right now. Jisung laid his head on the older's arm, still standing on his tip-toes. He was breathing deeply, inhaling Hwang's perfume. He didn't want to move even a little bit. He felt so good here, next to Hyunjin, in his arms. He finally felt that the black-haired was the person, he'd searched for - someone who accepted his all weaknesses, who liked him in the way he was.
"I know you're standing on your tip-toes" the taller whispered, saying those words into the brown-haired ear. Goosebumps formed on the smaller's skin.
Jisung spat, hitting lightly the taller's arm. And even though he reacted in this way, in the reality his cheeks turned red and a smile appeared on his lips. Maybe it was silly, but Hwang's words were making him react in this specific, uncontrolled way.
After a moment Hyunjin moved a little bit, looking into the younger's dark eyes. He brushed Jisung's hair away from his forehead and he wanted to walk away in changing room's direction, but at this moment Jisung's sudden move made him stop his action. The shorter boy stood on his tip-toes again, for a little while pressing his lips onto Hyunjin's. He left on the taller's lips a quick and sweet peck and then moved away, blushing furiously. He still couldn't believe that he really did that.
"Good luck" he mumbled. He didn't wait for Hwang's answer and just ran away in the gym's direction.
At this moment he couldn't look into his eyes again, suddenly feeling extremely ashamed of what he did. Maybe it was only an innocent kiss but for him, it was an experience filled with feelings. He has kissed Hyunjin only once and in a different situation and the other place. He panicked and that was the reason why he walked quickly in the direction of the big door, which was the entrance of the gym. Firstly he didn't notice this fact, but after a few steps, he realized that he was alone - standing completely alone in the big crowd, which was only growing.
This terrible feeling of anxiety and fear filled him up again. He hated his phobias and panic attacks with his whole heart. And even though he knew that he was in high school and he just should enter the gym and find Felix, he started panicking, not knowing what to do. He started to look around, realizing that the number of people around him was only growing. His face became pale. He hated this feeling - when the fear was taking control over his whole body and he just couldn't do anything with it.
And probably he would end like at the party, even though he was in a familiar place if he didn't feel suddenly someone's touch on his shoulder. The boy turned around and when he saw Felix, he immediately cuddled into his warm body. He completely ignored the fact, that there was Bang Chan standing next to Felix and holding three hot dogs. He also didn't pay attention to Felix's expression, which was positively showing the shock and the little fear caused by Jisung's sudden move.
But Felix wasn't stupid and after a few seconds, he realized what was happening. He hugged the smaller boy tightly, calmly stroking his back. It has always helped.
It helped also this time because after a moment he felt that the body, which he was holding, started to relax and the speeded breath started to calm down.
"Everything's fine, Sungie?" Felix whispered, still holding the shorter's body. He had to be sure that he didn't hurt Jisung, and that Han felt good. Lee still has remorse because he was dating the latter's old crush.
The brown-haired boy nodded his head, moving away from his best friend.
"Yes," Jisung growled quietly. He still has looked neither at Felix nor Chan. "There were too many people, you know, I couldn't help and it happened..."
Honestly, he didn't know how he was supposed to explain his panic attack. After all, he was in a familiar place, so what was the reason to panic? Why he was again behaving like a little child?
But luckily Felix interrupted him, putting his hand on the smaller's shoulder.
"Sungie, you don't have to explain it. A panic attack is a panic attack" Felix made sure that Jisung felt okay, and then he wrapped his fingers around the shorter's wrist. The taller drawn Jisung towards the gym.
Chan sighed quietly and then walked past the other boys. Maybe he hoped that he would spend this evening only with Felix, but after all, he also saw Jisung while he had a panic attack, so he understood that Felix wanted to be sure that his friend was fine. With a little twist on his face, he let Jisung sit between him and Felix when they finally reached the sitting places. Maybe he wasn't totally fine with that, but the fact how much Felix cared about his best friend sweetened him.
Having to familiar persons on both sides made Jisung finally feel comfortable. And with this exact mood, he started supporting Hyunjin, whom he liked more and more.
