eighty-eight
Hyunjin entered his boyfriend's room with a broad smile, which widened even more when he saw the brown-haired's petite body. Jisung sighed quietly when he saw the older boy holding a bottle of juice and two glasses. He knew that his mother couldn't let Hyunjin go past her without giving him some food and drinks. Well, Jisung knew that he took his love for food after his mom. Without a word, Hyunjin put those things on the shorter's desk and then approached Jisung. Hwang's smile seemed to be even more knockout. Maybe the reason was it being genuine because inside he was still laughing at those stupid jokes he made.
His smile that day seemed even more brilliant than usual. He knew he was quite a silly person, and times when he acted like today always confirmed it. But even though he didn't know it, that was what Jisung loved about him. Every feature of him, even if it might seem like a weakness to the general public, was wholly loved by Han. After all, the shorter boy was losing himself in Hwang more and more with each passing day, and both the advantages and disadvantages were part of Hyunjin.
"Hi, Sungie" he said, going in the younger's bed direction. This wasn't the first time he'd visited Han's house, so he was going to sit on his boyfriend's bed without asking him for permission. Hyunjin wanted to cuddle up to the grey blanket that was currently only covering the smaller's body. Jisung, however, moved away immediately, pulling one hand out from under the blanket to stop Hwang's next action.
"Don't come near me, madcap," he stammered, and even though his words were meant to sound like a threat, they were still full of sweet giggles that soon escaped from both of them. Before he said anything else, he moved a little to the side, thus making room for the elder. "No, no, I'm kidding of course."
After these words, Hyunjin sat on the edge of the bed, crawling under the fluffy blanket that his boyfriend was covered with. It was warm beneath it, and it was a much more pleasant temperature than it was outside. He quickly pulled Han's smaller body closer to him, allowing the younger one to rest his head on his shoulder. His gaze wandered to the TV, and then he saw one of the most famous American teen series on its screen. He sighed softly, wrapping his arm around the shorter boy. What he liked most about their relationship was that it wasn't obvious—both of them were special, their relationship wasn't forced, and their hearts, though so different, still worked together. Everything that happened between them was spontaneous, initiated by feelings — such as their first kiss or this meeting.
He licked his lips nervously, snuggling Jisung's body more into his own. He finally calmed down from laughing like crazy, mostly because of Han's presence. Jisung always soothed him, whether he was sad or otherwise. Suddenly he felt the urge to say words that he'd never said before. He was thinking about it so much lately, but at this moment, as he lay peacefully next to Jisung, feeling his heart speeding up every moment, he realized that it was the honest truth. Even though this situation wasn't even special, just a normal meeting which was supposed to be filled with cuddling and watching series, he decided to say this as he felt a sudden wave of courage.
"Sungie, you know" he mumbled, turning his head to the brown-haired boy. Jisung lifted his head from Hyunjin's shoulder, staring at him with his big, dark eyes. As always, they looked so innocent and Hyunjin could swear that he saw all of the younger's emotions in his eyes. He took a deep breath, gathering himself to say what he wanted to. He closed his eyes for a moment, making sure that he embraced the shorter one well, ensuring his proper safety. And when he did that, he sighed again, opening his own eyes. "I have been thinking about this lately and I think this is the right moment to say it" he started, which made the younger lick his lips nervously.
"Should I be scared? he laughed, pulling the blanket higher, ignoring the movie that was playing in the background. "Do you want to tell me what drugs you take?"
Hyunjin rolled his eyes, ignoring the shorter's words. He wanted to say something important and nothing could stop him at this moment.
"You know" he started his speech again, lowering his sight. His gaze landed on the younger's body, which was tightly covered with a blanket. He knew that Jisung was listening to his words. "You have no idea, how much you've changed my life and me. I mean, if not you, I would still be the old me, the puffy fuckboy who wasn't thinking about anyone besides me" he breathed again and Jisung swallowed, realizing that what Hyunjin wanted to say was really serious. "You've changed my thinking completely, you made me better. You taught me how to love, you know?" his voice was shaking even more with every word. But Jisung's hands started to tremble too, and he unintentionally moved closer to the black-haired. "I love you, Sungie. People can say that I'm only an infatuated teenager, but I really love you. You've changed so much in me and you mean as much to me. I would be no one without you. You complete me as you are my lost second half.
And then he stopped, forcing himself to look up. He looked again into Jisung's eyes, which were shining like the most expensive crystals, but now he couldn't find a clear answer in them. He didn't really know what he expected. After all, his statement was so sudden and he was the one who had been in love with Jisung for a long time. Somewhere inside, he knew he didn't need Jisung to answer him, even though he really wanted to. At that moment, all he needed was Jisung to be there, to listen to his words.
The room wasn't filled with silence because after all, the TV was still playing in the background, but no one said a word. Jisung stared at Hwang's face with wide eyes, unable to utter a word. He didn't quite understand what was happening, why did Hyunjin say these words? He wanted to respond somehow, to say something, but at that moment he couldn't. He opened and closed his mouth, letting out only small amounts of air. He had a mess in his head, and the persistent gaze of the black-haired boy which was focused on his body did not help at all. And just as he had formed an answer in his head, the door swung open.
"Jisungie, Hyunjin, do you want something to eat?" his mother nearly shouted, energetically entering the room. Being a loud person Jisung definitely took after her. The two boys jumped away from each other, pulling the blanket in both directions. Hyunjin felt strangely hurt because after all, his sincere confession was interrupted in such an unpleasant way, and Jisung blushed lushly, not necessarily because of what his mother saw, but rather because of what his boyfriend had said a moment earlier. The woman looked around the room and that's why she soon realized that she entered at a really bad moment. "It is not the best moment, right? Okay, I'll make you supper and I'll call you out when it's ready" after those words she quickly left her son's room, checking twice if she closed the door.
At this moment Hyunjin was sure that he won't reserve an answer. He lowered his gaze, looking at the blanket again. He didn't know why he immediately felt so bad that he wanted to cry. He started to regret that he said what he said. And when he was on a verge of crying, he finally heard Jisung's melodic voice.
"I love you too" he stuttered out quietly, feeling a blush covering his cheeks again. He didn't look at Hyunjin, staring at the blanket too. "I'm not sure if I can say what I feel, but... I care for you so fucking much. A few months ago I wouldn't think that I'll get to know you, that you'll make me feel this way, that you'll make me love you. Maybe people can say that it's not love, because I'm only a stupid kid, but I love you, Hyunnie."
And after these words he looked back at the black-haired boy, pressing his lips tightly together. And before he could say anything else, he saw Hwang move closer to him instantly, connecting their lips. He felt the taller one move his soft lips gently, making him completely melt in his feelings. The black-haired boy turned a little on the bed, thus forcing him to lay flat on it. He automatically entwined his small hands in the taller's black locks, pulling him even closer. Now he was unable to lose his closeness, which at that moment was his greatest treasure. Hyunjin was above him, placing both hands on either side of the shorter's head while not breaking a kiss. Hyunjin smiled through the kiss, still hearing the younger's words in his head. He knew he'd be lying if he said that he wasn't the happiest guy on Earth at that moment. Really, he didn't need anything else — after all, he had the most important person in his life next to him.
In fact, neither of them knew how it happened that after a moment their kiss became more intense. The fact that both of Jisung's parents were downstairs and that the show was still playing in the background didn't matter at all when they were next to each other. The mutual dance of their lips became faster and faster, causing heavy breaths to leave their mouths. And although before Hyunjin's arrival Han was sure that he wanted only to cuddle, now he was convinced that he wouldn't mind if something happened between them — indeed, with every second he began to desire Hyunjin more and more. He couldn't understand it either — apart from the countless feelings that Hwang had caused in him, the black-haired boy also affected his senses and body more strongly than anyone else. Every little gesture, kiss or touch led to blushes and shivers, and sometimes to even more intimate things.
Jisung wasn't sure, when he pushed his hips up, suddenly desiring Hyunjin's intimacy. He searched for it, but he couldn't find it because after a moment Hyunjin's lips disappeared. The black-haired lifted his body a little bit, looking into Jisung's eyes and leaving a peck on his lips. He left another peck on his forehead and when Jisung was about to protest, Hyunjin started to speak.
"I really like where it's going" he started and Jisung's eyes shined brighter. "But we were going to cuddle and not have sex, right? Overall, I think cuddles are better for this moment" he announced, still looking into the younger's eyes. "I love you" he repeated, feeling the need to say it again. Now he was able to do it with impunity and even at that moment, he knew that it was going to be his favourite activity.
And although at first, Jisung felt strangely pity that Hyunjin stopped his actions, after a moment he actually snuggled back into his side. He didn't really know when he fell asleep but he was sure of one thing — the most beautiful words he had ever heard were still ringing in his head.
