Chapter 2
"What?!?" I shouted angrily.
"You are to marry Alex. Then he will be the Alpha of this pack." My dad explained.
"I'm suppose to be the Alpha!" I gritted my teeth.
My father glared at me.
"From what I've seen, (y/n), you don't have what it takes to be an Alpha." My father glared, warning me to stay quiet.
"Excuse me! I do what have what it takes! I've helped you many times before! And I'm your best fighter here! If I can't be the Alpha then you can stay Alpha until you die!" I shouted at him in anger.
Then I left the office.
James P.O.V.
*gasps* shocked, aren't you
"I'm sorry for my daughter's/son's behavior, Alex. She's/He's stubborn like her/his mother was." I apologized to the boy next to me.
"No worries, James. Besides, she's/he's a feisty one, and I like that." Alex smirked.
"She/he will come to her/his senses soon." I reassured.
Alex nodded and left my office.
"Oh (y/n)...why do you have to be so much like your mother?" I sighed.
(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
I was currently in my room, packing a bag.
"What are you doing, (y/n)?" The voice of my little brother asked.
I turned to him and smiled softly.
"I can't stay here, Ethan. I don't want to be forced to love somebody I don't love. And I've always felt different here." I sighed.
Ethan ran up and hugged me.
"Please don't go, (y/n)!" He whispered.
I hugged Ethan back.
"I'm sorry." I whispered back.
Ethan pulled away and I could see the tears flowing down his cheeks.
"Please promise you'll come back." Ethan held up his pinky finger.
"I promise, Ethan. I won't just leave and not return." I wrapped my pinky around his.
I pulled him into another hug.
A tear escaped from my eye.
"I'm going to miss you." I whispered.
"I'll miss you too." Ethan whispered back.
I grabbed my bag and flung it onto my shoulder.
"Can you distract dad for me while I try to sneak out?" I asked my brother.
He nodded and left.
I took a deep breath.
Let's do this.
/timeskip/
I was running. Trying to not get caught.
Dad must've noticed I was gone a few minutes after I left.
At least Ethan tried.
I was running in my wolf form. My backpack in my mouth.
I was trying to get to the town nearby to get a bus to somewhere far away.
Far away from my father and the pack.
Our pack house is somewhere near Monroe, Indiana.
Come on, we can do this Myla!
Myla is my wolf.
My wolf has fur as white as snow, with some gray on my back. My eyes a bright sapphire blue.

I continued to run, trying to find a way to lose the other wolves behind me.
Then I noticed the street up ahead.
The town's nearby!
I ran faster than before. Hope filling me.
The scent of the other wolves faded behind me.
That meant I lost them.
I ran down the road in the trees, trying to stay hidden.
Once I saw the town, I stopped.
I hid behind a tree and shifted back. My bones making a pop sound when the bones snapped back in place.
It didn't hurt as much shifting like it use to.
I grabbed my backpack and grabbed a set of clothes to put on, since my other clothes ripped when I shifted.
I had on some black ripped jeans, a white t-shirt, white converse, and a black jean jacket.
I grabbed my bag after I changed and walked into the town, trying to find a bus station.
As I walked around aimlessly, I finally found one.
I started to run to the bus station.
But I was stopped by a loud roar, coming from behind me.
