Y/n walked down the hall. She ruffled her hair. It was fluffy since she took a shower two hours ago. She entered the hall where Mizuki's dorm is. But she froze when she saw Sano and Nakatsu speaking. Y/n walked closer to hear what their saying. The two to speak and stand so close is weird. Suddenly Sano hugged Nakatsu. Nakatsu looked shocked.

'This is very common.' Sano suddenly said. 'Frienship between men.' He pat Nakatsu back then let go while saying, 'It's a hug. A hug.'

he casually walked away after picking his bag up. Nakatsu yelling in happiness a hug then left. Y/n quickly ran then went aside Sano. She playfully punched his arm.

'And I don't get a hug?'

Sano looked then rolled his eyes. He pushed her away playfully.

'Your not a man.'

Y/n rolled her eyes. Sano did his arm around her shoulders and rubbed her arm a bit to signal "fiiine, here's your hug!". Many don't know but Sano and Y/n actually have a sister-brother like relationship. Many get surprised when they see they are even friends. Sano had to go away so Y/n went to the canteen. Hope Nanba has candy for her... She walked down the small steps and went to Nanba. And indeed he had food for her already ready! She flopped aside him in a chair and began stuffing her mouth. Nakao came and whispered to Nanba. Nanba turned in shock and asked,

'The Legend of the Delayed Star festival!'

'That's a mouth full...' Y/n mumbled at the long name.

'Yes.' Nakao whispered then got up since everyone was already staring. 'It was about 50 years ago!' He began, walking around as if he's some kind of professor. 'From Osaka High and St Blossoms High... there was a couple that was the envy of everyone.'

'So long ago...' Taiki said while looking up in the air as if he's imagining the couple.

'Yes!' Nakao said to signal he's gonna continue talking. This is gonna be a long Legend so Y/n maked herself comfy against the chair back and legs on Nanba's lap but he didn't seem bothered. He even placed a hand on her leg to keep them from falling. 'Legend has it, on August 7th, they vowed to love each other for eternity. The couple who makes it to Osaka High's rooftop. Their love...' Nakao leaned to Nanba who was grinning as if it's the best thing he ever heard. 'Will last forever!'

Nanba turned to Y/n with a grin. 'Wanna go to the roofto-' Y/n cut him off by punching his head so his head went back to Nakao. He casually spoke again as if it never happened. 'It's precisely one month after the Star Festival. That's why it's called the Delayed Star Festival.'

'Then I wanna go with my girlfriend.' One boy at the end of the table fanboyed.

'Me too!' The boy over him yelled.

'Me too!' Another yelled. Atleast everyone yelled it. nanba turned around like crazy to eye all the boys then turned back, looking shocked.

'Everyone... all have girlfriends?'

Y/n stared before she laughed making atleast everyone turn in shock. She almost fell out her chair but pushed on Nanba's legs to keep herself up. She finally calmed down and leaned to him.

'You act as if you own every girl but you don't have a girlfriend? You're such a loser!' Y/n said before taking her candy bag and eating it.

'Hey!' Nanba said, offended.

He pushed her legs off his lap so she fell. She glared up but before anything else can happen, Megumi came crouching into the canteen. He took Nanba and dragged him to the center of the room. The two whisper. Y/n just huffed and got up. Nanba did his hand on Megumi while smirking.

'What? You... Are you having problems with Kanna-chan?!'

Megumi turned in shock to Dorm 2. HE quickly waved his hand. 'Huh? No!'

'You can get some advice from this love expert if you want.' Nanba smirked, pointing at himself.

'A guy without a girlfriend shouldn't say anything!' Megumi remarked, serious look.

Suddenly Nakao began making weird noises while taking a blue small notebook. Everyone gave him confused looks. Y/n closing her candy bag in disgust of his fake coughing.

'Indeed. Today's the 73rd day that he has gone without a girlfriend.'

Almost half the canteen snickered as Nanba's eyes widen. He ran then punched Nakao softly before going behind him. Y/n can swear she saw fucking blue stars suddenly after that weak punch.

'Stop blabbing!' Nanba said while angry massaging Nakao's neck.

'Getting advice from a guy like that?' Megumi walked over. 'Don't make me laugh!'

He stormed off, doing his judo uniform better. Nanba glaring at Megumi. His glare said he's gonna murder him but suddenly he gave the most psycho smile Y/n ever seen.

'I just got a great idea.' Nanba said.

'Looks like a wicked Idea...' Taiki said while Y/n was slowly sliding behind Taiki for safety from the crazy Nanba.

While everyone was casually eating as if nothing happened, Mizuki came in finally. Nakatsu quickly said her name so she turned with confusion.

'Sano?' Nakatsu said it as if he was gonna ask something else but changed it last minute.

'He's at practice. He hasn't taken a break lately.'

Mizuki walked to the table Y/n, Nakatsu, Nanba and Nakao sat at. Y/n pulled a chair backwards to signal Mizuki can sit aside her.

'I see. I see. Have a seat!' He quickly said so Mizuki between Y/n and Nakatsu. 'How was it when I left? Your room?'

'Hmmm... not much.'

Y/n slowly went to Nanba and leaned to him.

'Why are they so awkward?' Nanba just gave her a huff so she glared. 'You still being bitchy about me calling you a loser?!'

'That hurt.' He dramatically said.

'Fine. Sorry.' Y/n rolled her eyes.

'Kiss on the che-' Nanba did his cheek to Y/n but she pushed his cheek to the side and glared.

'Don't push your luck!'

Suddenly Sekime ran in, screaming Sano fell down so everyone froze.

Mizuki told Y/n that all the boys layed blankets on Sano which was annoying at the time but now weird. Y/n just let out an airy chuckle while walking to canteen. It was becoming night but Nakao said their holding sort of a meeting so Y/n wants to go see for the weirdness. When she entered, she saw Nanba standing at the table where Dorm 1 sat. They were arms crossed, looking stubborn as always. But no Megumi... Then she saw Dorm 3 in the corner. Oscar with a weird stripped suit and his fake gold cape.

'Hey! Dorm 1!' Nanba yelled. 'Tennouji has such a cute girlfriend. Don't you guys think it's weird?!'

The Dorm 1 boys rush up. Oooh, shit's about to go down! Y/n smirked as she jumped down the steps and aside Nanba to enjoy the show first row.

'I do!' One said.

Y/n almost fell at that answer. No fight? She angry pout. Nanba glanced at her. He found her pout just cute but he quickly looked back up to Dorm 1. the boy immediatly began shaking, saying to his friends.

'That was unintentional.'

'No. We all feel the same way.' Nanba assured him.

'You! No... you guys.' Oscar got off the table and walked over.

Y/n quickly changed to Nanba's other side, not wanting near Oscar. Even after weeks, she still finds him too weird that it makes her hate him a bit. She will gladly punch him without hesitation. 'Don't you feel we should hate people with girlfriends? Don't you want to... beat those guys up with a hammer?' Oscar asked so cheers went.

'I wanna beat everyone up with a hammer. Girlfriend or not, I don't care.' Y/n shrugged. Nanba gave her scared eyes but then spoke.

'Have you guys heard of the Legend of the Delayed Star Festival.'

'Yes!' One did his hand up.

'In that case, I will make it short and sweet!' He yelled. 'I already thought about this! We will set up traps on their way to the rooftop! Reveal their shameful conducts for their girlfriends to see!'

'Once their dreams are destroyed, they'll break up with their men.' Oscar continued.

'What a horrenduos battle to destroy relationships.' One of dorm 1 said.

'This kind of thing...' Nakao began, sounding depressed so everyone turned. He gayly jumped off the table then grinned. 'It's impossible for me not to participate~!'

For some damnr eason, they all began laughing. Y/n just wondering what the fuck wrong is with them. Suddenly Oscar maked a weird noise for attenion so everyone quiet. Nanba spoke in his leader-tone again.

'In brief, this time it's not a competition between dorms. It's simply about distinguishing those who have a girlfriend and those who don't. It's called...'

He snapped his finger so two boys from Dorm 1 began pulling a scroll to show a long text of kanjis.

'The battle to prevent the Legend of the Delayed Star Festival by revealing their shameful conducts to be seen then causing their girlfriends having not to say... Summer.'

'... That's the fucking plan not a fucking name!' Y/n gritted her teeth.

'Too long!' Taiki said with his hands up.

So Nanba needed to borrow the school rooftop and 7th floor. He dragged Y/n along since he didn't want to go along. Probally too nervous to ask his uncle alone. (His uncle is the doctor, Umeda.)

'So if I'm correct. You wanna stop couples from having fun and living a good life with little bratty versions of themselves running around? Fuck yeah I'm in!' Y/n smirked.

'Knew you would!' Nanba smiled.

The two were getting closer to Umeda's office. Y/n noticed Mizuki run past, holding a brown bag with medicine for Sano in.

'Why are you and Mizuki such good friends?' Nanba's curious got the best of him.

'Euhm...' Y/n can't tell him Mizuki is a girl and that's how they became friends. 'He's just the most normal guy in this place.'

'I'm normal!'

'Dramatic, leader, playboy, pervert-'

'Okay! Okay!' Nanba knew if he let her continue, she will just begin insulting him.

Nanba opened the door for her so she entered. Y/n froze when she saw Io, Nanba's mother, Akiha her aunt and Umeda. This isn't good... Fuuuck! Now she sees Umeda and Akiha, she remembers her and Nanba could have been "related" if they got together. He would have been her nephew. Y/n cringed at the thought of Nanba being her nephew. She rather have him as a boyfriend. Nanba just went to Umeda and spoke.

'Uncle! Please, let me use the school on the 7th-'

He was cut off by Umeda pushing his finger against Nanba's cheek, forcing him to look around the room finally.

'Old bag!' He said so Y/n facepalmed. Who the fuck says that to their mother?!

'Hi~!' Io fake smiled then took her son's collar roughly and spoke. 'It'd be great if Hokuto (Umeda's first name) was interested in women like you. Right? Walking Genital-kun.'

Y/n stared before she laughed at the nickname as Nanba glared.

'You laugh at the wrong times!' He yelled. 'I'm not seeing anybody right now!' He defended himself from his mother.

'Oh! That is rare indeed. Or are you and Y/n?' She did a finger from Y/n to her son.

'H-huh?!' The two yell. 'No fucking way!' Y/n yelled quickly.

Io gave Y/n a weird smile as if she knew that wasn't her real answer.

'How about!' Io quickly went between the two then pointed to Y/n aunt, Akiha. 'The kind of women like Akiha-chan?'

'Wait a minute, Io-san!'

Y/n almost puked at the thought of her aunt and Nanba.

'It's not possible.' Nanba laughed off.

'It's not...' Akiha said disappointed of his answer.

'Then I'm going back now.' Io spoke then leaned to Umeda. 'Please take good care of Ashiya-kun.' Umeda said hai hai. Then she tapped Nanba's chest with her index finger and said, 'And you better take good care of Y/n!'

She casually left. Both Nanba and Y/n share a look of confusion to why she said that but Umeda was smirking. Akiha took Y/n's arm and dragged her with her. The two are family so Y/n didn't care and walked along, leaving Nanba and Umeda.

Let's hope the festival will go okay and nothing weird is gonna happen!
