Michael's PoV -
It's nighttime again and I'm patrolling the halls of the Pizzaplex as a security guard. Gregory walks next to me holding my hand. Evan is in his ghost form. He's partially transparent and floats nearby. Ennard follows us through the vents.
"Oh, Michael, you found the child!" Glamrock Bonnie seems happy to know that Gregory is safe.
"Yes, Bonnie, this is Gregory and this is my deceased little brother, Evan," I introduced my two kids.
"It's good to finally meet you both," Bonnie smiles and climbs off his stage and stands next to us, "Would you all like to do some bowling?"
"I'm not sure we have the time. I should be patrolling the halls now," I explain.
"Please, Michael, I've never been bowling before," Gregory pleads and I give in.
"Okay, one game, then we need to continue."
With that Bonnie explains to Gregory and Evan how to bowl. He finds them lightweight bowling balls that they can handle. I play too though I have to get Ennard to climb inside me so I can even carry a 10 pound bowling ball. We're on the fifth round and Bonnie is by far in the lead though Gregory is not too far behind. Evan is in third place and me and Ennard are in last.
"How are two 10 year olds beating us?!" Ennard complains.
In response, Gregory and Evan laugh.
"Bonnie!!! Are you okay!" Glamrock Freddy comes running inside Bonnie Bowl.
"Oh, Freddy. Yeah, I'm fine. Just bowling with Michael and his friends. Why wouldn't I be okay?" Bonnie asks.
"Chica, Roxy, and Monty, they're acting weird. It's like they're glitching out. They keep asking about a child that Vanessa told them to bring to her. I thought maybe you'd be acting weird too," Freddy explains seeming worried about his friends.
"They're looking for me," Gregory states, "I don't want them to find me. I'm scared of Vanessa."
"Don't worry, superstar. We'll protect you," Freddy pats Gregory's head.
"Gregory, it's not safe up here now. I thought the dangers were only here during the day but now it sounds like they're here at night too. Ennard and Evan will help you get home. I'll try to distract Chica, Roxy, and Monty so they can't see where you go," I try to form a plan.
"What can Bonnie and I do?" Freddy asks.
Ennard crawls out of me and stands protectively near Gregory. Evan has disappeared meaning he's hiding inside Gregory. "Could one of you go with, Michael, to keep him safe?" Ennard asks.
"I'm fine," I complain.
"We'll both go with Michael, we will keep him safe and maybe we can talk some sense into our friends," Bonnie states.
"Good luck, everyone," I state before hurrying out into the halls of the Pizzaplex.
I can here Bonnie and Freddy's metallic footsteps echoing not far behind me. Ennard and Gregory are waiting a few minutes in Bonnie Bowl before they make a run to the basement and to our secret room. Hopefully, that gives us enough time to distract the other animatronics.
We find Roxy and Chica first. They stand together. Freddy was right. They look like zombies. "Michael, we know you have Gregory. Where is he?" Chica states is a creepy voice.
"Uh, I don't have a child. What's wrong with you two. You don't seem like yourself. Do you need me to leave a note for the maintenance person? They can get to you first thing in the morning." I state.
"We are better than ever," Roxanne states, "Freddy, Bonnie, why didn't you get the upgrade?"
"Roxy, that is no upgrade. It's a virus. You're not yourself," Freddy states.
"Where is Monty by the way?" I ask.
"Probably, in his golf," Chica replies, "Why do you care?"
"We were hoping we could talk some sense into him. You two don't seem to want to hear our concerns," Bonnie states, "Maybe you could help us find him."
"Nah, we're happy right here," Roxy smirks.
"One of us needs to find, Monty," I state.
"I'll go find him, try to talk some sense into him. Freddy can stay here with you Mike," Bonnie volunteers.
"Thank you, Bonnie," I reply.
"Bonnie, be safe love, remember, Monty is not the same, he's infected," Freddy warns.
"I'll be careful, you do the same, Freddy," Bonnie replies before walking off towards Gator Golf.

Ennard's PoV -
I wait five minutes before leaving Bonnie Bowl. Finally, Gregory and I leave. Gregory holds my hand and walks beside me. We speed walk. We need to get Gregory to the basement as fast as possible.
We're almost there. We're descending a flight of stairs that takes us into a darker area of the basement when I hear a small whisper from behind us. "Gregory." That sounds like Vanessa.
Gregory hears it to. He holds my wires tighter. I look down at the small child. He has a panicked look on his face. "Gregory." The voice is closer now. I look back to find a white rabbit quickly skipping towards us.
Shit! What do I do. We're almost home but if we go home we'll lead Vanessa straight to our hiding place and then Gregory will never be safe even at home. "Hang on, Gregory," I state as I scoop the child into my wires.
He's tucked safely in my wires. Quickly, I pull us into the vents. I know these vents by heart and I know exactly which turns to take to lead Vanessa away from our home. I lead Vanessa on a wild goose chase. I hear he banging on the vents as we crawl through them. I imagine her taking her knife and running it along the outside of the vent. Finally, I've lead her back upstairs. We lost her. I manage a few turns. Almost back to the basement.
Carefully, I drop us down to the ground. Vanessa is gone. Suddenly I'm pulled backwards. "Ahhh," I fight the force but it's too strong. I quickly turn around and I'm met with a massive blob. A large dark conglomerate of wires and masks is dragging me towards it. It wears a Funtime Freddy mask. I hear Gregory screaming from inside me. He's still wrapped in my wires. I quickly release the child before I get sucked in. "Gregory, run! Go home now. Shut the door behind you and don't open it for anyone!"
Gregory is crying. "Ennard, don't leave me!" Evan appears outside of Gregory pulling him towards our home.
"Run, Gregory!" I scream before I'm consumed into the mass of wires and agony.

Bonnie's PoV -
I wonder into Monty's golf. "Monty, where are you? I need to talk with you." I question the darkness around me.
"You know where that child is, don't you?" I turn around and I'm face to face with Monty.
"No, I haven't seen any children here since we closed for the day. Monty, you look different. Are you sick?" I play dumb.
"Hmmm, I don't believe you, Bonnie. Tell me where the child is!"
I back away. Monty seems slightly more violent than Chica and Roxy.
"Why so scared, Bonnie?" Monty taunts.
"I'm not scared. I just think you're acting weird," Monty follows me as I take steps backwards.
I'm stepping over golf courses decorated with fake jungle vegetation and bright green lights. I need to be careful not to trip.
"I'm not acting weird. I just got a new upgrade. Maybe you need the upgrade too," Monty states in a creepy voice.
At least I'm buying Gregory some time by talking with Monty. I just need to stall for a few more minutes.
I take a few more steps backwards. I'm careful to step over the decorations, "No thanks. I don't think I want your upgrade."
I'm nearly cornered and Monty keeps coming closer. Fear begins to fill my circuits.
Surely, Ennard would have gotten Gregory to safety by now.
"Well, it was nice chatting with you Monty but I see that you don't really understand my concerns. I guess I'll be taking my leave now. I'll see you soon though," I try to ease my way out of this predicament.
"Not so fast, rabbit," Monty states.
I back up a bit more. I try to find purchase but it's like there's a big hole in the golf course. I trip and fall. Water splashes around me. Shit! I fell in the river that winds around the golf courses. Water quickly enters my circuits and I'm suddenly sparking and glitching. I need to get out of here. I try to crawl out of the river but Monty pushes me back in. His claws rip at my metal skin. "M-Monty... St-op!" I try to yell but it does no good.
Monty attacks with ferocity. He rips at my metal and plastic outside exposing my wires and circuits inside. Pain echos through me as he rips one of my arms off. I try to fight back but it's useless. My waterlogged circuits make all my movements slow and effortful. I'm at Monty's mercy.
The attack continues. My face is ripped off. Monty continues his assault, banging my head onto the river bank. One of my rabbit ears falls off next to me and the other is bent out of shape.
Finally, Monty leaves me alone to die, "You should have told me where that child was, Bonnie."
I don't waste my energy replying. I need to get back to Freddy. He will help me like he always does. After Monty is gone I crawl out of the water element. I only have one arm and my body is weak so the process is tedious but I manage to get to dry land. At least Gregory had time to escape.

Michael's PoV -
Freddy is still trying to talk to Roxy and Chica. I awkwardly stand nearby knowing it's a lost cause but at least it's keeping them occupied and not out looking for Gregory.
It's almost been enough time for Ennard to get Gregory home. I bet they're entering the basement area now. I hope they're safe.
"Freddy, you're dumb! Why can't you see the way of the future!" Roxy seems pissed.
"Roxanne, please calm down," Freddy calmly states.
"Don't tell me to calm down!" Roxanne charges at us, claws out.
"Roxy! Stop!" Freddy states but she doesn't stop.
As Roxy nears Freddy pushes me out of the way. I fall to the floor a few feet away.
Roxy has knocked Freddy to the ground and is tearing at his metal exterior, "I know you know where that child is!" She growls at Freddy.
Shit! I need to help him. I quickly get behind Roxy and start deactivating her. Chica notices and comes running towards me. I only have a few seconds till she gets here. I'm now randomly pulling at cords. I pull a red cord and Roxy deactivates. Freddy quickly frees himself and picks me up and stuffs me in his stomach. I can see through Freddy's eyes from in here. Chica holds the deactivated Roxy as if she were dead. She's crying over the top of her. Freddy sneaks away from the two. Once we're down the hall from them Freddy opens his stomach hatch and lets me out. "Thanks for protecting me, Freddy," I state.
"No, problem, Michael. Do you think Gregory is safe now?" Freddy asks.
"I would say so. They've had enough time to esc-" I fall to the ground in pain.
The back of my head is throbbing. Tears well in my eyes. Somehow I know something isn't okay. Ennard's hurt! Years ago I had Ennard put a tiny circuit board in the back of my head. That way we could talk telepathically when I used to work in public with Ennard inside me. It also helps me to know if anything is wrong with my beloved animatronic and now something is very wrong. It's never hurt this bad before only tiny little headaches when Ennard had a lose wire or minor water damage. Now this feels like my head could blow up. "Michael! Are you okay?" Freddy picks me up and hold me bridal style.
"Something... wrong... with Ennard," is all I can say.
"We need to get you to the basement to check on him," Freddy states as he starts speed walking with me taking me home.
Suddenly, the pain stops. I can't feel Ennard anymore. Usually, the circuit board gives me some idea of his location but it's completely silent now. "Freddy, it stopped. I can't sense, Ennard! I need to find him!" I'm sobbing.
"Fr-eddy... M-ike," Bonnie is limping down the hallway towards us.
He looks terrible. He's missing an arm and his face plate is gone. His ears are damaged as well. His whole body looks shattered. Freddy runs over to him, "Bonnie! What happened to you, my love?"
Freddy holds Bonnie who uses him as support. "Mon...ty, di-d thissss."
"I need to go find, Ennard. Freddy, can you take care of Bonnie?" I ask.
"Yes, I'll take care of him. Go find your lover, Michael. Be safe." Freddy replies and he's already walking off with a limping Bonnie.
I rush down the halls and finally make my way into the basement. I hope against hope that I'm wrong. Maybe Ennard, Gregory, and Evan will all be cuddled on the couch watching one of the soap operas that Ennard and I like so much.
I quickly open the doors and my hope is deflated when I find Gregory and Evan sitting on the floor holding each other while crying. "Where's Ennard?" I sit on the floor next to the two children.
"Vannny was chasing us... then Ennard helped us... escape... in the vents. We lost her... but when we exited... the vents... this terrible monster... huge blob of wires and masks... took Ennard... he told me to run... so I did," Gregory explains between sobs.
I'm sobbing again along with the children. "Where was this blob? I have to find, Ennard," I ask.
"It was in the old kitchen part of the basement but you can't go, Michael! It's too strong! We need you, Mike!" Evan pleads and he hugs me.
Gregory holds me tight as if trying to keep me here. I know Evan is right but every fiber of my being wants to go find Ennard even if it is a death mission. "You're right. Ennard would want me to protect you two first."
We spend the rest of the night and into the day crying while huddled together.
——————
Days pass. I can feel my body getting weaker. I'm rotting more and more. Ennard keeps my body from rotting when he's inside of me. He acts as an endoskeleton for me and that somehow tricks my body into not rotting. Though Ennard enjoyed his time exploring in the vents or cuddling with me or his exotic butters he would always take the time to crawl inside me for a few hours each day to make sure that my body wouldn't rot anymore. Shortly after I was scooped Ennard left me for several weeks. In that time my body rotted, turning purple. Ennard came back and overtime we fell for each other. Since then he's always regretted leaving me for those weeks where I rotted. Now I can feel my body rotting more. I feel so weak. I'm a little shaky but not too bad yet. However, if this continues I likely won't be able to move anymore and I'll be forced to live eternally and endure the pain of rotting till I finally turn to dust. I need Ennard. I miss him with all my heart and now even my body needs him to survive.
Regardless, we haven't left our secret room since the incident. I know we will have to soon at the very least to find Gregory some food. The poor kid hasn't eaten is days. We're all too scared to leave the safety of our room. I feel so weak without, Ennard. I'm just a purple rotting corpse that can't carry anything over 5 pounds without my body falling apart. Ennard was my beautiful scary animatronic. He was my protector. I felt safe with him around. I can't protect these kids by myself! I can't just leave them here either. What is Vanny, or the Blob, or one of the other animatronics get in? What if I die while I'm out? Then who will protect them? I miss my Ennard!
Currently, it's night time. I should be patrolling as a night guard but I can't bring myself to do it. I'm too scared, too sad, and I don't want to leave the kids. Evan and Gregory are watching some cartoons. Gregory's stomach growls periodically begging for food, just a reminder that I will need to venture out soon. I sit next to the kids on the couch. I'm crying as is my usual now. Gregory leans against me and Evan sits in my lap hugging me trying to comfort me. I dry my tears. "Okay, I need to leave to get Gregory some food. I would also like to check on Freddy and Bonnie. I can't hide in here anymore," I state, the two kids watch me.
"Michael, don't leave us!" Gregory complains, "What if you don't come back?"
"You need food. I can't just let you starve. I have a plan if I don't come back, follow me."
I turn off the television and instruct Evan and Gregory to sit in a dark corner of the room. "Okay, I'm going to cover you two with some blankets and I will hide you. I won't be gone for long but I need you both to stay very quiet while I'm gone. That way, even if Vanessa or something else comes in here they might not notice you and leave. Here, take this Gregory," I hand Gregory my cell phone, "If I'm not back by morning I want you to call the office. It's under contacts. Tell them it is your birthday and that you want to speak to Freddy. They let kids talk to Freddy on their birthday. When Freddy answers tell him who you are and where you are. Freddy will keep you safe. Can you do that?"
Gregory nods.
"Okay, now be quiet. I'll try to hurry back," I cover the two kids and place random objects near them to hide them.
Once I'm happy with my work I grab my flashlight and leave, making sure the door is well hidden and locked behind me. I keep an eye out, carefully shining my flashlight around every corner before I walk down the halls. I don't see anyone, so far so good. I pass by Bonnie Bowl and shine my light inside. A sign hangs on Bonnie's stage saying "Sorry. Out of order."
I hope Bonnie is okay. I'm surprised that they haven't repaired him yet. I walk by Freddy's room next. The door is shut but I quietly knock. "Come in," I hear Freddy state.
I walk in and find Freddy sitting on his bed with a broken Bonnie in his lap. Poor Bonnie still looks so weak. "Hey, guys. How are you two doing?" I ask.
"Admittedly, not well. I asked maintenance to fix Bonnie but they told me it would cost too much. They don't want to fix him! Instead they promoted Monty to lead guitarist and closed Bonnie's stage. They tried to throw him away but I found him and brought him here to my room," Freddy holds Bonnie close as he talks. He seems so sad.
I feel bad for the two. I have problems of my own right now but I can't just leave Bonnie in this state, besides in a few days I might not be physically able to repair him thanks to this rotting body. "I could try to repair Bonnie if you want me to," I offer.
"Yo-u wou...ld do th-at for m...e?!" Bonnie states his voice still glitchy.
"Yes, but first I need to find Gregory some food and take it to him. We've been too scared to leave our room and the poor kid hasn't eaten in a few days." I explain. "There is a work bench with tools down in the basement. I would always repair Ennard there if he had a loose wire. You could meet me down there and I could do the repair, it shouldn't take too long."
"That would be wonderful, Michael. Thank you! We will meet you down there," Freddy replies while helping Bonnie to sit up.
I leave and carefully make my way to the kitchen. I hear Chica around the area. It sounds like she's eating something. I quietly sneak into the kitchen doing my best to keep track of Chica and avoid her. In one of the kitchen fridges I find some leftover pizza and a salad that one of the employees forgot to take home from their lunch. I quickly grab the food. There might be enough for a couple of days so I won't have to venture out again. I scurry out of the kitchen. Chica is still eating, I hear her. I'm happy she didn't find me.
I speed walk downstairs into the basement. I scan the area to make sure no one is near and I quickly enter the secret door to our room. Everything looks the way I left it. I enter and shut the door behind me, making sure it's locked.
"You guys can come out now, I have some food for you Gregory," I state as I turn on the light.
"You're safe!" Gregory and Evan throw the blanket off that was hiding them.
They both happily run over to me and hug me. I hand Gregory the food.
"I'm going to go fix, Bonnie. Monty really hurt him and now he needs repaired. I won't be far away. I'll still be in the basement and I will be watching our secret door to make sure nothing gets in. If I do see something I'll yell and you two will need to turn off the lights and hide yourself just as you were. Okay?" I explain.
"Okay," Evan says and Gregory just nods since he has pizza in his mouth.
"Okay, be safe and stay quiet, I will be back soon," I state before leaving the two and locking the door behind me.
I find Freddy and Bonnie where I told them to meet me. Bonnie sits on the work bench and Freddy stands next to him. "Michael, I'm sorry about earlier. I was so caught up in ranting about maintenance refusing to help Bonnie that I forgot to ask you how you and Ennard are doing. Is he okay? Did you find him?" Freddy asks.
Those simple questions are enough to bring me to tears once again, "No, Freddy. Ennard sacrificed himself to a monster made of a blob of wires and masks in order to let Gregory escape. That's why I haven't been doing my security guard duties. I feel so scared and vulnerable without him. Now, even my body is starting to rot away without him. Soon I won't be able to walk and after that even moving will be impossible. I just miss him so much. I want him back with me!"
By now I've picked up some tools and started inspecting Bonnie's shattered body.
"Michael, I'm so sorry to hear that. You two were so close. Is there anything I can do to help?" Freddy states sympathetically.
"I don't think so, Freddy. Gregory, says that the blob is too big and powerful. I mean, if it got Ennard then it would really have to be scary powerful. I don't think me and you could take it and win," I admit.
I'm fixing internal problems in Bonnie. Some of his wires and circuits are loose or torn. I replace the torn ones and tighten the loose wires. Then I start repairing Bonnie's lost arm. I'll have to build it from the ground up.
"I have a suggestion," Bonnie states, his voice sounds better now that his voice box is repaired.
"Yes, Bonnie?" I ask.
Freddy holds Bonnie's hand. He looks so happy that his lover's voice is fixed.
Bonnie continues, "If this blob is too powerful for us we will need to find a way to trap it. Then once it's trapped you can get Ennard out of it and we can destroy it once Ennard is safe."
I continue work on Bonnie's arm, "That's a good idea, Bonnie, but how could we trap it? Gregory said it was three times as tall as Ennard and he was seven foot tall."
We all think for a few minutes as I continue work on Bonnie. I connect his arm. Now, on to his exposed face.
"The kitchen area has a giant walk in freezer. Animatronic parts can't function in freezing conditions or at least can't function fast or well. We could lure it in there and lock it in there for several hours. Then you could sneak in and get Ennard. Ennard might be freezing but he would be okay once he thawed out," Freddy suggest.
I'm screwing little bolts on Bonnie's face, "That's actually a good idea, Freddy! How would we lure the blob? It seems like it only wants children and animatronics. I don't want to put any of us in danger."
"Hmmmm... Evan is a ghost, right? Can he walk through walls? Maybe he could act like a living child and lure the blob into the freezer. Then before the blob gets to him he can escape through the wall and we can shut and lock the door behind the blob," Bonnie suggest, I have to stop my work on his face so he can talk.
"I think Evan can do that. I wonder if he would be willing to help. Good idea, Bonnie!" I state.
I continue my work. It's almost morning but I'm also almost done. Bonnie's face is complete. You can't even tell it was ever damaged. Now the last part is easier. Just simply reattaching one rabbit ear and fixing the other that was deformed. I start my work repairing Bonnie's bunny ears.
"I'll ask Evan if he would be willing to do that. Would you two mind helping me?" I ask.
"Of course, Michael. I really owe you for doing this for Bonnie, thank you," Freddy states.
"I would be happy to help you, Michael. You and Ennard are like family to me," Bonnie states, I'm almost done with his repairs.
"Thank you both. If Evan is okay with this plan maybe we can put it into action tonight. Would you mind meeting us down here in the basement?" I ask as I put the finishing touches on Bonnie's ears.
Freddy looks at Bonnie who just replies with a shrug. "Sure," Freddy states, "We can do that."
I check the flexility of Bonnie's ears. They work great. He looks good as new and we got it done in only a few hours. Maybe I've surpassed even my dad at building and repairing animatronics. "Okay, Bonnie. You're fixed, good as new. Thank you both. I will see you tonight," I state.
Freddy and Bonnie both thank me before going back to the pizzaplex. Maybe Bonnie can have his stage back now that he's repaired.
I make my way back to the secret room. It's a incredibly short walk but even that small exertion tires my rotting body. I hope this plan works, I need my Ennard back!
I enter. Gregory has finished his food and the leftovers sit on the counter. The two boys are taking a nap. They lay cuddled together on the couch asleep.
I quietly sit next to them but Evan must have sensed my presence. He blinks his eyes a few times before rubbing the sleep out of them. Gregory notices that Evan is awake and sits up as well. "I need your help, guys. Bonnie came up with a plan to help me get Ennard back but I'll especially need your help Evan if this plan is to work..." I spend the next hour explaining Bonnie's plan to the two boys.
