NO ONE'S POV:

(We're taken to Wakanda where we see Ayo & Bucky. We even see how Bucky got free from the words that turn him into the Winter Soldier. Bucky & Ayo have a brief conversation about Zemo where she gives him eight hours then they come for him. Cut Bucky walking into Zemo's place.)

Bucky: Well, the Wakandans are here. They want Zemo.

(Y/N): Great.

Bucky: Bought us some more time.
Sam: Were you followed?

Bucky: No.

Zemo: How can you be so sure?

Bucky: 'Cause I know when I'm being followed.

Zemo: It was sweet of you to defend me at least.

Sam: Hey, you shut it. No one's defending you. You killed Nagel.

(Bucky looks at something on his phone.)

Zemo: Do we really have to litigate what may or may not have happened?

(Y/N): Did you hit your head or something?

Sam: There's nothing to litigate. You straight shot the man.

Bucky: Sam. (Y/N).

Sam: What?

(Y/N): Yes?

Bucky: Karli bombed a GRC supply depot.

Sam: What? What's the damage?

Bucky: Eleven injured, three dead. They have a list of demands and are promising more attacks if those demands aren't met in full.

Sam: [sighs]

(Y/N): Well, if they weren't terrorists before they definitely are now.

Zemo: She's getting worse. I have the will to complete this mission. Do the three of you?

Sam: She's just a kid.

Zemo: You're seeing something in her that isn't there. You're clouded by it. She's a supremacist. The very concept of a Super Soldier will always trouble people. It's that warped aspiration that led to Nazis, to Ultron, to the Avengers.
Sam: Hey, those are our friends you're talking about.

(Y/N): My sister and my wife.

Bucky: The Avengers, not the Nazis.
Sam: So, Karli is radicalized, but there has to be a peaceful way to stop her.

Zemo: If you really wanted a peaceful way to stop her, you wouldn't have brought the Wolverine with you.

(Y/N): I hate to say it but he does bring up a good point.

Zemo: The desire to become a superhuman cannot be separated from supremacist ideals. Anyone with that serum is inherently on that path. She will not stop. She will escalate until you kill her. Or she kills you. Or the Wolverine rips her heart out.

(Y/N): Hopefully we can avoid those outcomes.

Bucky: Maybe you're wrong, Zemo. The serum never corrupted Steve.

Zemo: Touché. But there has never been another Steve Rogers, has there?

Bucky: Well, maybe we should give him to the Wakandans right now.

Zemo: And you'll give up your tour guide?

Bucky: Yes.

Sam: From my understanding, Donya is like a pillar of the community, right? So, when I was a kid, my TT passed away.

Bucky: [hesitates] Your TT?

Sam: Yeah, my TT, yeah.

(Y/N): What the hell is that?

Bucky: Who is your TT?

Sam: Fine. When I was a kid, my aunt passed away.

(Y/N): Why didn't you just say that to begin with?

Sam: [sighs] And the entire neighborhood got together for a ceremony. It was like a week long. Maybe they're doing the same thing for Donya.

Bucky: Worth a shot.

Zemo: Your TT would be proud of you. Turkish delight.

(Zemo tosses one to Sam & pours a bunch of them out.)

Zemo: Irresistible.

(Cut to the Flag Smashers listening to news report on the supply depot bombing. Cut to Zemo, Bucky, Sam, & Y/N walking into the resettlement camp.)

Zemo: Shame what's become of this place. When I was young, we used to come here for fabulous dinners and parties. I knew nothing of the politics of the time, of course, but I remember it being beautiful.

(Y/N): Simpler times.

Zemo: Yes.

Sam: I'm gonna take a look around upstairs. See what you can find out here. And keep an eye on him.

Zemo: I'll stay out of your way.

(Sam, Bucky, & Y/N ask the people of the resettlement camp about Donya but don't get any answers.)

(Y/N): Donya? Just gonna stay quiet like the others?

Woman: ...

(Y/N): Figured.

(Y/N's thoughts): I could force one of them to talk but these people have been through enough. Plus, I don't think Sam and Bucky would like that very much.

(Sam tries to ask a teacher about Donya but all he tells him is that he can't trust him. Cut to Zemo singing.)

Zemo: [singing] Baa, Baa, black sheep, have you any wool? Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full

(Zemo takes out a bag of Turkish delights.)

Zemo: [singing] One for my master, one for for the dame One for the little girl who lives down the lane

(Zemo pours out some Turkish delights in front of some kids.)

Zemo: Turkish delights. It was always my son's favorite.

(A girl takes one of them.)

Zemo: My old friend, Donya, passed away. Did you know her?

Girl: Yes.

Zemo: I would like to pay my last respects. Do you know where her funeral will be?

(The girl whispers the location into Zemo's ear as Bucky, Y/N, & Sam watch.)

Sam: It's starting to feel like a dead end.

Bucky: The hell is he doing?

(Y/N): I don't know but I can't wait to ask him.

Zemo: Do you see those men over there? They're very bad. Not to be trusted. Donya is our little secret, okay?

(The kids agree & Zemo gives them the rest of the Turkish delights. He walks over to the trio.)

Zemo: Cute kids.

(Cut back to Zemo's place.)

Bucky: Well, I got nothin'.

(Y/N): Same here.

Bucky: No one's talkin' about Donya.
Sam: Yeah, it's because Karli is the one fighting for them.

Bucky: [sighs]

Sam: And she's not wrong.

Bucky: What do you mean?

Sam: For five years, people have been welcomed into countries that have kept them out using barbed wire. There were houses and jobs. Folks were happy to have people around to help them rebuild. It wasn't just one community coming together, it was the entire world coming together. And then, boom. Just like that, it goes right back to the way it used to be. To them, at least Karli's doin' somethin'.

Bucky: You really think her ends justify the means?

(Y/N): They sure are effective.

(Cut to Zemo pouring tea.)

Bucky: Then, she's no different than him or anybody else we fought.

Sam: She's different.

(Y/N): Just because she has red hair and freckles, doesn't make her different, Sam.

Sam: She's not motivated by the same things. I'm surprised you're not agreeing with me, (Y/N). Since you have a history with redheads.

(Y/N): [chuckles] Yeah. No.

(Zemo walks in front of them holding a tray.)

Bucky: That little girl. What'd she tell you?

(Zemo places the tray down.)

Zemo: The funeral is this afternoon.

Bucky: You know the Dora's coming for you any minute. In fact, they're probably lurking outside right now. Keep talking.

Zemo: Leaving you to turn on me once we get to Karli. Hmm. I prefer to keep my leverage.

(Bucky gets up, grabs a glass of tea, & throws it against a wall, shattering it.)

Bucky: You wanna see what someone can do with leverage?

Sam: Take it easy. Don't engage. He's just gonna extort you and do that stupid head tilt thing.

(Y/N): And, I'd rather not see our tour guide and the one person here who actually got some valuable information be split in two. At least not yet.

Sam: Let me make a call.

(Sam leaves to make a call.)

Zemo: You want some cherry blossom tea?

Bucky: No, you go ahead.

(Bucky walks away.)

Zemo: [exhales] How about you?

(Y/N): Sure.

(Cut to Sam on the phone with Sharon who tells him she may have a satellite or two. Cut to Karli & a Flag Smasher at a cemetery where to get the rest of the serum from their hiding place. Cut to John & Lemar meeting up Sam, Bucky, Y/N, & Zemo.)

John: Karli Morgenthau is too dangerous for you guys to be pulling this shit.

Bucky: Ah! How'd you find us now?

Lemar: Come on, man. You think three Avengers can walk around Latvia without drawing attention?

(Y/N): I thought we were keeping a low profile.

John: No more keeping us in the dark. You could start by telling us why you broke him out of prison.

Bucky: He did that himself, technically.

John: This better be an unbelievable explana...

Sam: Hey, take it easy before it gets weird.

Zemo: I know where Karli is.

John: Well, where?

Sam: All we know is, it's a memorial. So, we're gonna intercept her there.

Lemar: That means civilians. High risk of casualties.

(They all walk together.)

John: All right, good, we'll move in fast. Take her by surprise.

Sam: No, I wanna talk to her alone.
John: I'm not losing her again.

Sam: Look, the person closest to her died, she's vulnerable. If there's any time to reason with her, it's now.

(John & Lemar get in front of Sam, Bucky, Y/N, & Zemo.)

John: What? No. Wait, no! No! Stop. Hold on. Stop, okay? I think we're way past reasoning with her, unless you forgot that she blew up a building with people still in it.

Lemar: You walk in there cold, she could kill you.

Sam: If I go in hot and the op goes wrong, more people will die.

(John looks at Bucky & Y/N.)

John: You two are gonna let him do this? Are you gonna let your partner walk into a room with a Super Soldier alone?

Bucky: He's dealt with worse. And he's not my partner. (Y/N)'s not my partner either.

(Y/N): Took the words right out of my mouth.

Sam: I used to counsel soldiers dealing with trauma, okay? This is right in my wheelhouse.

John: I know. And I know those soldiers, which is why I know this is a bad idea.

Lemar: Wait, John. If he can talk her down, it might be worth a try.

John: [scoffs]

(John looks at Zemo.)

John: We'll deal with you later.

Zemo: I'm sure it will all come to an agreeable conclusion. My associate is just up ahead.

(The group meets up with the same little girl. Zemo bribes her to show them the way & she does. Leading them to an abandoned building.)

Zemo: Karli's in there.

Sam: All right.

(John begins to handcuff Zemo.)

Zemo: [groans]

John: Hey. You got ten minutes.

Zemo: Really?

John: Then we're doing things my way.
(John handcuffs Zemo to a structure.)

Zemo: Aggressive. But I get it.

(Cut to Karli talking during Donya's memorial. Cut to Bucky, Y/N, Lemar, John, & Zemo outside of the memorial where John is breathing heavily. Cut to Sam & Karli talking. Cut back to the group outside of the memorial.)

John: Uh-uh. No, no, no. This is a bad idea.

(Y/N): Take a deep breath, bub.

Bucky: It hasn't been ten minutes, John. Do what (Y/N) said and sit tight.

John: Don't do that. Don't patronize me.

Bucky: He knows what he's doing.

(John walks towards Bucky & Y/N.)

John: I'm goin' in.

(Y/N): The hell are you.

(Bucky puts his hand on John's chest, stopping him.)

John: This is all really easy for you, isn't it? All that serum runnin' through your veins.

(John looks at Y/N.)

John: Why are you even here to begin with? You aren't even American.

(Y/N): Well, I had nothin' better goin' on and...they're the closest people I got to friends so...

John: Barnes, your partner...(Y/N), your friend needs backup in there. Do you really want his blood on your hands?

(Cut to Karli & Sam talking. Just when it seems like Sam is getting to Karli; John, Lemar, Bucky, & Y/N walk in.)

John: Karli Morgenthau, you're under arrest.

Karli: So this is what that was?

Sam: No, wait...

Karli: Tricking me until your backup arrived?

John: I think we had enough time to talk.

Karli: Nazi.

John: Why don't you...

(Karli punches the shield causing John to back into Sam.)

John & Sam: [grunting]

(Bucky & Y/N chase after her. Unbeknownst to our heroes, Zemo has escaped from his handcuffs. Cut to Sam & Bucky regrouping.)

Sam: Shit. [panting]

Bucky: I lost her.

Sam: This place is a maze. Where's (Y/N)?

Bucky: I think he's still on her tail.

(Cut to Y/N chasing Karli. She's in the middle of trying to open a door but before she can, Y/N tackles her through said door.)

Karli: [grunts]

(The two end up on the ground with Y/N over her & two of his claws between her head.)

(Y/N): [panting] So here's what's going to happen; we're going to wait here until my friends get here or until Carl Fredricksen and Battlestar show up. But if you try anything, I end you right here.

Karli: Dog!

(Y/N): Believe it or not, you're not the first person to call me a dog.

(Karli flips Y/N off her, ducks his oncoming swing, & kicks him through a wall.)

*SMASH*

(Y/N): [grunts]

(Karl starts walking away until she runs into Zemo who shoots her & destroys almost all of the Super Soldier serum. Karli uses this opportunity to escape. John throws the shield at Zemo, knocking him out. John finds a vial of the serum, picks it up, & puts it in one of his pockets. Sam & Bucky finally arrive on the scene.)

Sam: What did we miss?

(Y/N walks out of the hole in the wall he made.)

(Y/N): [groans] I'm going to guess a lot.

(Cut to Karli coming up with a plan to kill Captain America. Cut back to Zemo's place where we see Sam messaging Sharon & telling her to keep an eye on Walker.)

Zemo: Were you ever offered it?

Sam: What?

Zemo: The serum.

Sam: No.

Zemo: If you had been, hypothetically, that is, would you have taken it?

Sam: No.

Zemo: No hesitation. That's impressive.

(Zemo takes the towel off his face.)

Zemo: Sam, you can't hold out hope for Karli. No matter what you saw in her, she's gone. And we cannot allow that she and her acolytes become yet another faction of gods amongst real people. Super Soldiers cannot be allowed to exist.

Sam: Isn't that how gods talk? And if that's how you feel, what about Bucky and (Y/N)? Blood isn't always the solution.

(Y/N walks out of the bathroom after washing off all of the wall dust as Bucky walks in.)

Bucky: Something's not right about Walker.

Sam: You don't say.

Bucky: Well, I know a crazy when I see one. Because I am crazy.

Sam: Can't argue with that.

(Y/N): Aren't we all crazy in our ways?

Bucky: Shouldn't have given him the shield.

Sam: I didn't give him the shield.

Bucky: Well, Steve definitely didn't.

(John kicks the doors open followed by Lemar.)

John: All right. That's it. Let's go. I'm now ordering you to turn him over.

(Zemo stands up.)

Sam: Hey, slow your roll. Let's be clear, shield or no shield, the only thing you're runnin' in here is your mouth. Now, I had Karli and you overstepped. He's actually proven himself useful today.

(Zemo continues to walk further back.)

Sam: We're gonna need all hands on deck for whatever's comin' next.

John: How do you want the rest of this conversation to go, Sam, huh? Yeah. [chuckles softly] Should I put down the shield? Make it fair?

Sam: [scoffs]

(John puts the shield down. As he's lifting his head back up, a spear goes by his face. It's revealed that a Dora Milaje threw it. Ayo walks in with another Dora Milaje.)

(Y/N): This is getting interesting.

Ayo: *TRANSLATED FROM WAKANDAN* Even if he is a means to your end...Time's up. (IN ENGLISH) Release him to us now.

John: Hi. John Walker. Captain America. Well, let's, uh, put down the pointy sticks and we can talk this through, huh?

Sam: Hey, John, take it easy. You might wanna fight Bucky or even (Y/N) before you tangle with the Dora Milaje.

John: The Dora Milaje don't have jurisdiction here...

Ayo: The Dora Milaje have jurisdiction wherever the Dora Milaje find themselves to be.

John: Okay. [chuckles] Look, I think we got off on the wrong foot.

(John places a hand on Ayo's shoulder resulting in the Dora Milaje "fighting" John & Lemar.)

Sam: We should do something.

(Y/N): Yeah, we really should.

Bucky: Looking strong, John.

Sam: Bucky...

(Bucky, Sam, & Y/N try to stop the Dora Milaje while Zemo slips into the bathroom.)

*SKINT*

(Y/N pops his claws as he blocks one of the Dora Milaje's attack with a spear.)

*CLANG*

Dora Milaje: *TRANSLATED FROM WAKANDAN* Thief!

(Y/N): Listen, lady, I have no idea what you just said...

(Cut to Ayo & Bucky where she...)

Ayo: *TRANSLATED FROM WAKANDAN* James.

(Ayo walks to the bathroom to find that Zemo's gone & they leave.)

Sam: Did you know they could do that?

Bucky: [groans] No.

(Imagine Y/N between Bucky & Sam.)

(Y/N): At least it's easy to put back on.

(Lemar walks over to John.)

Lemar: You all right, man?

John: They weren't even Super Soldiers.

(Cut to the trio standing in front of the bathroom.)

Sam: I can't believe he pulled an El Chapo.

Bucky: I can.

(Y/N): We should've expected this. It is his place.

Bucky: Come on.

(Cut to John & Lemar talking about the Super Soldier serum. Karli talks to Sam's sister. Cut to the trio walking down the street, Sam's on the phone with his sister.)

Sam: Listen, pack an overnight bag and take the boys.

Bucky: What happened?

Sam: Karli called Sarah. She threatened my nephews.

(Y/N): She's not playing around.

Sam: Okay. Go somewhere safe. Only pay cash. All right? Let me know when you get there. I know. Look, I love you. I'll never let anything happen to you and the boys. Okay. Bye. Karli wants to meet. She left a contact number.

(Karli texts Sam.)

Sam: She said come alone.

Bucky: We're coming with you.

(Cut to the trio in the North Plaza where they walk up to Karli.)

Sam: You called my sister? That's how we're gonna play this?

Karli: Sam, I would never hurt her. I just wanted to understand you better.

(Karli looks at Bucky & Y/N.)

Karli: I see you, um, didn't come alone.

Sam: You have to end this now.

Karli: I don't want to hurt you. You're just a tool in the regimes I'm looking to destroy. You're not hiding behind a shield. If I were to kill you, it'd be meaningless.

(Sam looks back at Bucky & Y/N.)

Karli: I was gonna ask you to join me. Or do the world a favor and let me go.

(Sharon tracks Walker to their location & lets them know.)

Sam: It's Walker.

(Bucky jumps down to the ground but Karli does the same & pushes Bucky into a pillar. Y/N jumps after her but she catches Y/N by his throat.)

Wolverine: Ack!

*SKINT*

(Y/N pops three of his claws & slashes across Karli's mask causing her to drop him. Sam flies down & kicks Karli into a pillar.)

Falcon: I'll send you two the location. Go!

(Sam flies off as Bucky & Y/N run to find Walker. Karli does the same. John & Lemar get separated. Cut to Sam watching John easily handle a Flag Smasher.)

Falcon: What'd you do?

John: They've got Lemar.

(Cut to a Flag Smasher getting the jump on Bucky & Y/N. He backhands Y/N.)

Wolverine: [grunts]

(The Flag Smasher begins to choke Bucky prompting Y/N to tackle the Flag Smasher down the stairs.)

Flag Smasher & Wolverine: [groans, grunting]

(Bucky jumps down & makes his way to the two fighting.)

*SKINT*

(Y/N stabs the Flag Smasher in the shoulder.)

Flag Smasher: [yelps]

(Bucky walks up to the Flag Smasher & kicks him through a wall.)

Bucky: Stay there.

Wolverine: You know, you and I make a pretty good team.

Bucky: Yeah, maybe.

(Cut to John & Sam taking on a pair of Flag Smashers. The one John's fighting pulls out a knife.)

John: What's with all the knives?

(Lemar cuts himself free as Bucky & Y/N join the fight. Bucky catches a knife as he takes on a Flag Smasher with a knife of his own. Cut to Y/N being surrounded by some Flag Smashers who also have knives.)

Wolverine: Those are nice knives you got. But I'm pretty sure mine are better.

*SKINT*

(Y/N pops all six of his claws & clashes with the knives. Y/N's able to slash their legs.)

Flag Smashers: [screaming]

(He even headbutts one of them.)

Flag Smasher: [grunts]

(Y/N & Bucky regroup with Sam where Bucky punches a Flag Smasher away from Sam.)

Bucky: You're welcome.

(A Flag Smasher holds John as Karli comes in & is about to stab him but Lemar tackles her before she can. They both get up & Karli...)

(This causes everyone to stop what they're doing. John walks over to Lemar's body.)

John: Hey. Hey. Hey. Lemar. Lemar.

(The Flag Smashers & Karli make their escape resulting in Sam, Bucky, & Y/N to chase her.)

(John chases after one of the Flag Smashers.)

John: Where is she?!

(John throws his shield at the Flag Smasher & pins him on the steps of a statue.)

Nico: It wasn't me!

(The crowd watches in horror & records everything that just happened on their phones. Sam, Bucky, & Y/N arrive with stunned looks on their faces. Karli is shown in the crowd also horrified as John is shifting his gaze along the crowd.)
