The bright morning rays were hitting the room and unusually, Mr. Abhimanyu was up from his bed and got dressed in his special outfit for the day which he searched the whole mall for almost half of the day and then finalized it.

What's so special, you might ask? Well, it is special! It's his first valentines, with his valentine. The thought of her brings a small smile onto his face as he facepalms himself shaking his head imagining what all would happen on this day.

God knows, how much the sales girl was fed up from his side because he wouldn't agree till he gets the proper navy blue colour. He got to know that it was her favorite color and decided to pair it accordingly for his outfit for the day.

"Do I look cute? Why are my palms sweating? Agh, it's just a valentines day! But, God I just hope I don't mess up anywhere and I hope she likes the things I planned for her",he thinks in his mind still looking at the mirror and setting his hair.

After he felt like, it was just perfect! He put on his sunglasses and walked out of the room in search of his wallet and phone.

"Why are you walking out of your room like you are a model and you are walking on a ramp?", Mayuri asked eyeing his whole outfit and looking at him in pure suspicion.

"Atleast I am worth the ramp",Abhimanyu said as Mayuri rolled her eyes at him.

"Oh, oh, oh! So it's a valentine date, I see", she said wriggling her eye brows.

"Yes, it's my first time and so is hers! I'm nervous and she will be more than nervous. Hopefully I will make her feel comfortable around me. Hopefully we'll enjoy our 'date' ",he said settling down on the couch beside her.

"Rey, annaya! Stop thinking so much and just go enjoy your day! First date jitters will be there, you'll do well and my annaya is a wholesome gentleman so worry not, you won't let her feel uncomfortable, make sure you are not uncomfortable, alright?", Mayuri said posing like a love guru.

"How do you know about all these? Why do I feel like you are hiding something?",Abhi asked narrowing his eyes at her.

"Go now! Do you want to be late for your first date? Wait, what did you plan though?",Mayuri asked trying to divert the topic.

"You won't tell me what you are hiding, and I won't tell you what I planned so off I go to my date! Bye bye!",Abhimanyu said and ran off from there grabbing his wallet and phone from the table.

"Traitor",Mayuri yelled as he was outside wearing those white shoes which Ekantha gifted him for the first time.

"Look who says, the traitor herself and don't think we're done with this conversation! We'll continue this again later",Abhimanyu said.

"Damn, Mayu! Couldn't keep your mouth shut huh?",she said smacking herself and going back to her room.

Abhi got into his car, he got out of the parking lot. He drove towards her home, it was already 9am in the morning, and since it was already feeling like summer, Abhi drove with his sun glasses on. He stopped the car near a small flower store, bouquets were okay but gajras held a different emotion between them.

He bought a jasmine garland for her and placed it in his bag which he kept for her. Smiling to himself thinking of her reaction, he drove again towards her home. After what felt like an hour he reached her home, got down from his car removing his sun glasses, he leaned on to his car, looking around waiting for his love.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. Am I late?",he heard her melodious voice from the other side of the car.

There she was, in a floral anarkali, her hair left open with oxidized jhumkas and neck piece. The sound of those bangles brought him back to the real world.

"No Ammu, all good. You're not late! And you look so pretty just like a doll, nazar na lage thu thu thu",he said to which a tint of red hue formed on her cheeks and ears.

"And you're slaying in blue! That's my favorite colour and it's exactly the shade I like",she said and he had a proud smile on his face for getting the perfect shade, his efforts were worth it.

"Thank you, Ammu! Shall we?",he asked forwarding his hand towards her, for which she gladly accepts by placing her hands in his. They entwined their hands together and then he opened the car door for her just like a gentleman and she got into the car. After assuring himself that she was fine, he closed the door and got into his side.

"Oh where are we going, by the way?",Ekantha asked.

"I did plan something, but let's see! Well, first things first",he said and took the bag from the back seat and handed it to her.

She looked at the bag and then at him questioningly.

"Just the gajra for now, jaan",he said as they started their journey towards the destination which was still unknown to Ekantha.

"I love these so much, thank you so much Abhi",she said holding the gajra in her hands and admiring it.

"I love you too, Ammu",he said as his eyes were still on the road.

She put the gajra in her hair and gave him a huge smile. Averting her gaze from him, she looked towards the window trying to analyse where they were going.

"Would you like to play some songs, ma'am?",Abhi asked.

"Sure",she said and he switched on the radio connected it to his Spotify. He chose the road trip playlist.

"Wait? Road trip playlist? Are we going on a road trip?",she asked.

"Umm..partially! It's a long drive with something more as well",he said.

They were moving to the city outskirts and it was high way road now. The music playing in the background and the aroma of those flowers was creating a romantic atmosphere in the car making it a bit awkward for both of them.

Ekantha was playing with the hem of her duppata and vibing to the music. She was a bit curious as in what more was there in that bag? It seemed a bit heavy.

"What else is there in this bag?",she asked.

"Curious kitten, you'll know soon about it. Just some more patience, jaan",he said to which she just pouted.

"Awww, cutieee",he said as he pulled her cheek with one hand as he controlled the steering with another and chuckled.

"Heyy, stop pulling my cheeks",she said pushing his hands away and glared at him.

"Sorry, love! Couldn't resist your cuteness",he said and she hit him slightly on his shoulders laughing it away.

"Just don't sleep, Ammu! I feel sleepy if someone sleeps beside me when I am driving",he said to which she nodded.

"I am hungry",she said slowly almost inaudible.

"I kinda guessed it, you'd be hungry by the time we reach. Open that bag, yes that second zip and you'll find a tiffin box",he instructed her and a big smile adorned her face hearing about food.

She couldn't eat the before night properly and now she was here with nothing in her stomach for almost last 12 hours.

She followed his instructions and took out the tiffin box from the bag.

"Did you pack it for me?",she asked and he nodded.

"What did aunty make?",she asked opening the box.

"It's not aunty, it's me! I made it for you",he said and she looked at him wide eyed.

"Don't look at me like that, darling! It's edible, you can eat it",he said and heard her chuckle.

"Did you cook for me? Like for me?",she asked and he nodded casually.

"Oh my goodness, you made my favorite, halwa puri and chana! Yum",she said looking at the tiffin box.

"Sweet for our sweet first date",he said and she smiled.

"My cheeks might hurt today, with everything that you are doing which is making me smile",she said.

She took a first bite, and man it was delicious for real!

"Anyu, you are in wrong profession. You must have been a chef. This is the best halwa puri I have ever eaten",she said and a red hue formed on his cheeks and ears.

"Hayee, look at you blushing",she said teasing him while he face palmed himself.

Continuing to eat, she fed him as well.

"Eat, you must be hungry as well",she said and he silently ate as she fed him. Both of them completed their breakfast as Ekantha fed him and also herself.

"I'm impressed, honestly! You never fail to amaze me, Abhi. The more I get to know you, the more I fall for you. The way you thought about me and made this for me literally yaar, my heart melts",she said holding his arm which was on the gear and leaning her head on to his shoulder.

Yedhemaina sakhi viduvanu ninne ottugaa ottugaa chebutunnane

The song played in background and our dear Abhi sang along as if he was assuring his sakhi that he would never leave her.

"Yedemaina sakha viduvanu ninne ottuga ottuga chebutunnale",she replied singing the female version of the song. Their journey continued with some light talks here and there.

Soon they reached to the place and looking around Ekantha was unable to identify where they were.

"Where are we?",she asked.

"Not something fancy, but something that you'll probably love",he said as she wore that bag on her shoulder and got down from the car while he came out too and stood beside her.

"Presenting you, Anantagiri Hills",he said and she looked around filled with greenery and the smell of the soil hit her nostrils and instantly brought a smile on her face.

"Oh my goodness! This place is just awesome. I didn't knew places like this existed in Hyderabad surroundings",Ekantha said.

"We'll have to trek a bit though to reach the view point from here",he said to which she nodded.

"Ever trekked before?",she asked.

He nodded his head as no to which she chuckled.

"I did, once when we were in college we went for trekking. It's kinda difficult but the view will be worth it",she said tying her dupatta around her waist and her hair into a bun.

"Don't worry, we got this",saying so they started to trek towards the view point.

"No wild animals, right?",Ekantha asked.

"As far as I know not any wild but we might find animals there's a lesser probability since we are here in broad sun light",he said.

They started to talk to each other and as it was summer season they had to keep themselves hydrated.

Some places were difficult to walk but with each other they helped each other cross those paths, Isn't it like that in life as well? Everyone of us face difficulties and as we support and help each other we overcome them to reach our ultimate destination. The trek continued for more than an hour and by now both of them were tired and ofcourse their energy levels were down.

"Just some more time and some more energy",Ekantha said.

"Yeah, we're almost there I think according to the map",he said looking at the picture of the map which he took near the entrance.

And as he guessed, they were almost on the top of the mountain and they had to climb the view point to see the view from the top. Holding each other's hands and counting their steps like kids they climbed up the stairs and finally saw the view from there.

"Oh.My.Freaking.Goodness",Abhi exclaimed as he saw the view while Ekantha just silently leaned on to the railing looking at the view. Some places are just like that, aren't they? We fall in love with them at first sight. The first image of this scenery and all this was struck in her brain and she felt like sitting there watching the scenery feeling the breeze all the time.

Abhi took out his camera and clicked a few shots.

"Ammu, stand there",he instructed her and clicked some pictures of her and showed her with so much excitement and they did come out well.

"Perks of having photographer as my boyfriend. I get aesthetic shots, candid shots and all of them as a combo",Ekantha said to which he just chuckled.

"Can I click for you? Although it might not come out as good as you clicked",she said.

"Sure, It would be great memory for me to keep those pictures which my girlfriend clicked in my studio",he said.

"You-",she wasn't able to say anything and took his phone to click his pictures since she was not very good with handling the camera.

"You can use the camera, Ammu. I'll teach you how to use this",he said and handed the camera to her.

Being in this close proximity with him and trying to concentrate on the instructions was difficult she somehow managed to follow his instructions and click a few pictures, though they did not come as good as she expected.

"Worry not, Ammu! Why fear when Abhi is here? You'll learn eventually, we have our whole lives for it",he said as they sat down on the steps while she leaned onto his shoulder and kept her head onto his shoulder and closed her eyes. This was new, for her and for him, a blush along with a small smile crept on his face.

She got up after some time and noticed their hands which were entwined and he was seeing those pictures which she clicked holding his camera with another hand. Noticing that she got up, he gave her a questioning look.

"All good? Are you feeling tired?",He asked.

"No, no, I am fine! We need to go back and we got a long way to go",she said.

"That's true!",saying so both of them got down from the view point clicked some more pictures here and there and walked back to their car. Though it was tiring, they managed to reach back to their car.

Abhi's phone started to ring and he excused from there to have the talk privately. She scrolled through her phone too in the mean time.

"Sorry, Sorry! That was an important call",he said and started to drive towards Kotapally reservoir nearby.

"Where are we off to now?",she asked.

"Somewhere good",he said and she pouted.

"Damn ghat road can be scary. How do you know how to handle ghat roads?",she asked as they drove by the ghat roads which are quite scary.

"Sometimes, some photo shoots happen here also so I had to learn to drive by myself so that I don't have to depend on anyone",he said to which she nodded.

They reached the reservoir and since it was just the beginning of Summer, the water was not way too much nor way too less.

"There is a reservoir as well here?",she asked astonished.

"Yes, we could have visited waterfalls too but since its not monsoon season they wont be flowing so we had to skip that",he said and she hugged his arm excitedly with a big smile on her face.

For a person who loves places like this, she was happy from within undoubtedly. They parked their car by a side and went near the reservoir, since they were here already they decided to go for kayaking.

After finishing the formalities,both of them got their essentials and to say Ekantha was scared would be an understatement while on the other hand Abhimanyu was very much excited, he was looking forward to do this. The last time he had a chance to do this, he was busy filming the couple and this was the time to fulfill his wish.

"Abhi, what if we drown?",Ekantha said in a scared tone.

"We have life jackets, love and trust me nothing of that sort will happen. Just enjoy this moment",he said and gave her an assuring look still with her hands shivering she started to coordinate with him. Slowly the fear in her was lessening and she felt good doing this. A crazy idea hit her mind as she noticed him lost in thoughts. She took some water in her hands after carefully holding the sticks in her other hand and sprinkled it on him.

"Hey",he said and wiped his face with his hands.

"What was that, Ammu?",he asked and she just giggled.

"You won't like the further actions if you do things like this",he said.

"Why? What would you do?",she asked as they continued rowing their boat.

"I'll tell you after this",he said and she just chuckled.

They continued doing that for another half an hour and the got off the boat.

"Hungry?",he asked to which she nodded.

"Me too, come",he said and holding each other's hands they went to the car as he opened the back door he got his picnic basket. Neatly yet carefully he spread out the cloth for them to sit and also kept the food and other essentials ready and as it was already afternoon, he picked a spot below the trees nearby from where the view of the reservoir was still visible.

"What all did you plan?",Ekantha asked.

"Nothing much",he said.

"You are impossible, Abhi! You had it all planned and trust me my day couldn't get any better",she said.

"If that makes you happy, then why not?",he said and she just blushed thanking all the things that made him come into her life.

He prepared vegetable pulao, paneer butter masala and also got gulab jamun which was his favourite(gotta pamper himself too, right?)

They had their lunch while teasing each other and sharing some small talks.

"Did you even sleep last night, Abhi or did you kept planning about all this?",Ekantha asked to which he smiled sheepishly.

"Today is our first ever Valentine's day and it's my first time celebrating with my valentine. How can I even sleep when the excitement is filled in my whole heart and soul",he said.

"Let's pack up, we have some more plans",he said.

"More? Now I am curious",she said and helped him pack all those things and put it in his basket. He put it in the back seat

"Let's go, shall we?",he asked to which she nodded.

They drove towards Hyderabad again and on the way he stopped near a hotel.

"Why are we here?",she asked.

"Come with me",he said and held her hands. They checked in for a room and so many thoughts were running in Ekantha's brain.

"Ask your brain to rest for a while. Go and freshen up and yes change into this",he said and gave her a small bag.

"But why?",she asked.

"Kanna, why so suspicious? I am not a serial killer ma",he said to which she chuckled.

She opened the bag to find a beautiful green colour saree with matching jewelry.

"Hey, what is all this?",she asked.

"Don't you like it?",he asked.

"I didn't say I didn't like it mister, I asked what is all this?",she asked while her eyes refused to move from the beautiful green color saree.

"On the way, I wanted us to visit Chilkur Balaji temple. It's my sentiment temple so I wanted us to visit that temple on this day",he said.

"Temple? Sure no problem! If you would have said this I wouldn't have asked you other questions",she said and he gave her a sheepish smile.

She went and freshened up, changing into the saree while he was outside talking to someone on a call. She came outside adjusting her pleats.

Inkem inkem inkem kavale chale idhi chale

Someone's phone was ringing and it felt like a bgm to the situation.

"Naa bangaram, evari dishti tagalakudadhu thu thu thu",he said standing right in front of her to which she blushed.

"Go and freshen up, now go",she said pushing him into the room while she went out of the room to look around.

Abhimanyu badly wanted to twin with her and while shopping for her, he chose the same colour outfit as he chose for her.

He quickly freshened up and changed into his outfit for the evening. As he was combing his hair, he heard a knock.

"Abhi? Are you done yet? I forgot my phone inside",she said.

"Yes, you can come in",he said and the door opened.

"Woah, wait we are twinning",she said excitedly.

"You are looking so cute, Abhi! So cuteee. Usually men in traditionals are like a feast to our eyes and man this colour literally suits you! Green is your colour",she started to blabber while setting his collar properly.

"Only for my Ammu",he said and she giggled.

"All set? Shall we go?",he asked and she nodded.

They checked out the room and got into the car again as they drove towards the temple.

"Ammu, have you ever been to this temple?",he asked.

"When I was small, I did but not recently so I quite don't remember it",she said to which he nodded.

They reached the temple soon and parked the car in the parking lot. They brought the pooja essentials and entered the Chilkur Balaji temple also famously known as Visa God.

They did their darshan and circumblations around the temple and also visited small temples around it and settled down in the corridors of the temple.

"It's too crowded today, but swamy darshan was indeed way too good",Ekantha said.

"Yeah because today is Saraswati puja and also valentines so maybe people thought to visit temple just like us",he said and she chuckled.

"Btw, what did you pray for?",she asked curiosly.

"You shouldn't say what you prayed for, it won't come true",he said and she smacked herself slightly.

"Sorry, forgot about it",she said.

"Nothing to worry",he said and both of them sat there in silence till sometime.

The positive vibrations, devotion and peacefulness was all that was needed in their busy lifes and indeed this was a great addition to their day.

After praying to God heartfully they reached out of the temple. They clicked some pictures near the temple and again resumed their journey towards the city.

"Where to now?",Ekantha asked.

"Where do you want to go?",he asked.

"Actually, can you drive to this location?",she asked and showed him the location.

"Okay.. ",he said and it showed that the location she showed would take an hour and half to reach.

"Which exhibition is going on there, today?",he asked.

"Oh hello mister, I am not going to tell you about. Patience",she said and this time he pouted making her laugh.

They reached the exhibition after one hour fourty five minutes and it was already seven in the night.

He got out of the car and the next thing he saw was the exhibition was his photography exhibition.

He was amazed to see his portfolios and his photographs in the exhibition.

"No, you didn't really do that",he was surprised that she was able to arrange a photography exhibition for him.

"Yes, I did it. Now let's go and inarguate it, this will go on for the next three days",she announced and dragged him into the studio.

He was still not able to believe this, his family, his friends and colleagues and classmates all of them were there and he was just overwhelmed by the fact and by her efforts.

He went through the gallery and since his first shot till his most recent shots all of them were there and each story behind them was in front of his eyes. Tears were brimming in his eyes and all the time she was beside him, telling him his own stories but yet hearing from her made it sound like he was hearing them for the first time again.

"And this is the shot that you took just today. Don't ask me how did I manage to get it here, I just did",she said and shrugged while still smiling.

He just pulled her into a tight hug not caring about the surroundings and a few happy tears rolled off his cheeks.

"Thank you so much, Ammu",he said and she just patted his shoulder gently and pulled out of the hug.

"I love you too",she said and giggled.

"How did you even plan to do all this behind my back? How come I didn't even know about it?",he asked surprised while some of the family and outsiders were going through the pictures.

"That was almost equivalent to a mission. It was difficult but with Poorna and team somehow we made this possible",she said and side hugged him.

"Best surprise ever, best one",he said.

"Come, let's go take a walk",she said and pulled him onto the streets while he followed her.

"Abhi, this was your first exhibition right? You see, now you have to take so many more so that you should make it more tough for me to arrange it next time",she said as they walked down the streets with their hands entwined.

"Whatever you wish for, kanna",he said as they continued to finish their day in their own ways where they were able to push each other out of comfort zones and embrace the beauty of life...

And that was it for the special part.

This is coming out really really late and I am really sorry about it.

While I initially wrote it and was going to publish it, there was a glitch and after that I felt like the ending can be better so I re worked on it and made longest update for you all. I hope that makes it up.

As said before this won't be continued in the book, expect an update for the book tomorrow.
