Manik's POV..

So much of misery and helplessness. Her unspoken words pierced in my heart and I couldn't stopped myself from shedding tears. How beautifully she depicted her story in words.

"Am so sorry Shimmer!" I whispered caressing her cheek and she smuggled in my palm.

How can I less your pain..

"It's ok! It's not your fault!" She whispered back leaning her forehead with mine. "You know Manik! I..! I haven't complaint to God for snatching my vision ever. But since the day you have came in my life na! I..! I want my vision back! I want it back Manik! I want to see your face! I want to be perfect for you!" She was saying all that with sobbing hard..

Oh my baby..

"Shhh! You don't have to be perfect for me Cara Mia! Tum jesi ho mjy wesi he pasand ho!" I said trying to shush her as much as I can.

"It hurts so much Manik! It hurts when you know you can't see your lived ones face! It hurts me so much when I know that I can't see your handsome face!" She spoke caressing my facial features and I held my tears back..

"Shh! You will be able to see one day I am sure of it..!" I tried to console her and she clinged to me.

God! Why so unfair..?

"Be with me please!" She was so scared of losing..

"I am with you always..!" I said cradling her against my chest and kissed her hair.

Days passed slowly and leisurely with me spending time with Murthy sibling. Sometimes taking both of them out for lunch sometimes for ice cream. I lied about everything! My job! My status! Only my name was real to them. The hours of the day I spend with Nandini or either with Rishab were the best hours.

I was very well aware of the growing feelings for Nandini. Our relation didn't proceed further then the hug, or a cheek kiss and sometimes a forehead kiss.

Look am a good boy ok! I didn't kissed her again on lips after the day she told me about her story. Nor she insisted.

"I have never seen my sister this much happy since last few years!" One day me and Rishab came out for a coffee. He told me politely and I had nothing to say. "You know you are the reason of our happiness! You owe us bro!" He said with grateful eyes and I shook my head.

"No buddy! You guys brings happiness for me!" I said palming his hand on the table and he smiled.

"That means we are good for each other! Ok! Tell me about the debt? Have you paid it?" He was always so worried about my debt.

How much I hate lying all the time..

"Umm! No..! Not yet!" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"How much you have to pay?" He asked curiously.

"Umm! 20 thousand!" I blurted out..

Sh!t..! Such a big lie.! Manik the shoes you are wearing cost more then 20 thousand.

"Oh!" He just said that and kept quiet after that. Then we finished our coffee and bid goodbye to each other..

I sipped some whiskey from my glass and look outside the window. Aimlessly dark everything..

"Cos quanto tempo ci ultimo?(So how long will it last?)" I heard Cabir's voice behind me and I didn't bothered to turn.

"Che cosa?(What)?" I asked lowly. He came and stood beside me..

"This! Your Romeo type look? Are you gonna tell her now? Or should I tell her on your behalf?" He was teasing me..

Moron..! Ass!

"Tell what?" I was also no less..

I love to act innocent..

"Tu la ami Manik!(You love her Manik!)" He said coldly and I chuckled..

"Thank you for telling me! I never knew!" I mocked and he growled in anger..

"Held her hand before it's too late!" He said placing his on my shoulder. "It's been months since you guys are meeting everyday! Don't you want her permanently in your life?" Cabir's each word was right..

"Yeah! But am scared! I have lied a lot! What if she comes to know about my reality?" Now I was coming towards term.

"No! It won't happen if you will play safe!" Cabir boasted me up and I just nodded..

Now what??

"So! When you gonna propose her or ask her to be your girlfriend?" He asked in a straight forward tone.

Now I can't deny That I love her..

"Presto!(Soon)!" I said patiently.

I can't wait to call her as my girlfriend. Gosh it sounds so sexy!! Arghh! Language Manik..

"Buddy! Umm! Kuch galat ni ho ga right?" I asked lowly and Cabir turned me to face him.

"Nahi! Nothing will happen! I will protect both your lives for you! I know how much they both means to you!"Cabir said in an assuring tone..

Oh Cabir. Kaassh tu Gay hota..

"Buddy! Really you don't have to..!" I said looking down..

"Hey! We are brothers right? You don't have to say like this!" He was so sweet. "Come let's have dinner! Your bhabi had made your favorite dishes!" He said trying to cheer up my mode.
