Avoid mistakes if any

Flashback continued.

Nandini came out with few things in her hand and then keeping it on the table she sat on her chair. Nandini then looked at Manik and asked.

Nan-kaisa hai......

Manik looked at her with dreamy eyes and said.

Ma-this is the best dish......trust me...... I never thought this can be so much yummy.

Nan-thank you thank you......

Manik again took a bite while Nandini said.

Nan-I thought you would not like this so I made this.

Manik looked at the covered bowls and asked her.

Ma-yeh kya hai?

Nan-khud dekh lo.......

Manik opened the lid of one of the dish and exclaimed like a happy kid.

Ma-lobsters.....

And his eyes gleamed like a star. And then in excitement he opened the other lead to find rice and Nandini said.

Nan-fish briyani.....

Ma-oye......

Nan-aur usmei (pointed at one more coveted dish) carb rangoon bhi hai.

Ma-seriously......

And Manik fell on his chair and said dreamily.

Ma-itna saara......

Nan-tumhe sea food zayda pasand hai na that is why I made this for you.

As Manik heard that he asked.

Ma-tumhe kaise pata hai......

Nan-tumhe kya lagta hai......jo tum muje bolte ho woh mei sunti nhi ho kya.....I hear you properly and remember things abt you......isliye..... this bangan ka barhta is just to tease you.....

Manik felt happy that she listens to him carefully. And it a good sign in any relationship. Be it friends or couples.

Both exchanged smiles and then Nandini filled his plate with all the 3 dish and then filled her plate as well. While eating Manik asked.

Ma-this is not on rent hai na ?( the house)

Nan-haan.....it my own.....muje at the end of the year wapas nhi jana hai na.

Her this statement felt like a taunt to Manik. Both felt bad. Nandini coz she was accepting the fact that Manik will leave her while Manik felt bad coz he realised that at the end he will have to leave alone.

They resumed their food along with talks. In btwn their conversation Nandini saw a small piece of food stuck on Manik's corner of lips.

Till today she had controlled herself from doing anything that would give wrong signals to Manik and also the thought that Nandini might think of falling for him.

But today she didn't wanted that felling to control her. That is why she touched his skin. And when she did that she felt current passing through her whole body.

She composed herself and removed the food piece while Manik was looking at her actions. He too felt the same current passing through his body that he felt every time whenever he touched Nandini.

Then they talked and talked.

Manik was bought back to reality when his phone rang. He rubbed his palm on his face and then took his phone to see his dad calling.

He picked up the phone and heard raj saying/asking.

Raj-Manik.....kaha hai tu.....maa aur mom 1/2 ghante se airport pe wait kr rhe hai tera......tu pocha nhi abhi tak.

Manik looked at the time in his wrist watch and realised that it's been half an hour since their flight have landed so he immediately said to raj.

Ma-dad bas 5 mins....I will pick them up.

Raj-Manik tu kider hai....tu thik toh hai na....

Ma-yes dad....I m fine.

He ended the call abruptly and drove his car to the airport arrival section from the parking lot. While raj on the other side said to himself.

Raj-yeh kya ho rha hai mere bache ki zindagi mei.......baba ji koi chamatkar kar do mere bete ki zindagi mei aur uski khushi wapas usse de do.

Actually Manik was so much lost in his thoughts that he didn't realise. While dadi and nani waited for anyone to arrive but it was long time now that is why they called up raj to ask him who was cmg to receive them and till what time they will reach. That is why raj dialled Manik and told him.

Manik reached and stopped his car infront of her grandmoms and while getting out of the car he changed his expressions and bought a fake smile on his lips.

He came to them and bow down touching their feet. When he got up his dadi twisted his ears and said.

Dadi-kabhi time pe nhi hota hai tu.....hamesha late.

To look normal Manik behaved. He holded her dadi's hand and said.

Ma-ouch dadi lagta hai.....

Then she left him and the trio laughed. Manik hugged both of them and then after a pause took their bags to load in the car while dadi and nani sat in the car.

After loading the bags Manik came on driving seat and drove to Malhotra mansion.

In Malhotra mansion nyonika alerted everyone to never mention abt Nandini and Manik and Nandini's engagement with Dhruv. Though their mother were not narrow minded but seeing Manik hurt they might have grudges against Nandini which indirectly might lead harm to mukti's relation coz if Nandini's parents would compromise abhi will never hear a word against her. And unnecessarily even Nandini would be defamed when in all she is nowhere at fault. And all agreed.

Both these women's are Pretty that is why all the Malhotra's are dashingly handsome and beautiful. Well both these women's were best friends from their younger age. They have the same set of rules. They are down to earth and love their kids to no extend. They live in Punjab as that is their childhood place. They never shifted from there. It was only raj who came in Mumbai to establish his business. And with passing time they got raj and nyonika married. Then raj nyonika made their family here in Mumbai and their mother liked to stay in Punjab.

With passing time raj had made a mansion in Punjab as well and all the facilities that is available in Mumbai mansion was made available in Punjab too. Apart from that both these ladies do excersis and look after their health which is why they look young then other ladies of their age. And they are very lenient to their grandchildren rather than raj and nyonika. And they both started leaving together after their husbands demise.

Manik reached Malhotra mansion with both the ladies and stopped the car at their door entrance. Both the women's got down and all the family members were standing at the door to welcome them.

Both of them met the family while Manik was unloading their bags. After that they all came in and then butlers shifted their luggage to their respective rooms.

Cmg in they settled in living room and all were having a gala time. The whole atmosphere had turned jolly with the presence of the 2 ladies. They talked,teased and pulled each other's legs. Discussed abt the wedding functions and all and all were happy.

After that all retrieved to their rooms to take some rest. Manik had just sat on his bed when there was knock on his door. He allowed the person to enter in and soon he saw nyonika over there.

He stood up from his place while nyonika entered in closing the door.

Ma-mom......aaiye bethiye......kuch kaam tha muje bola leti.......

The distance btwn this mother son had made situations very formal btwn them. Nyonika replied after Manik completed saying.

Nyo-hum sab ne dcd kiya hai k maa (nani) aur maaji (dadi) ko Nandini k baaremei kuch bhi nhi batayenge. Unnecessarily Nandini defame hojayegi aur fir Abhimanyu might get angry.... we can't risk mukti's relationship. Isliye tum bhi kabhi mention mat karna abt Nandini and you.

Saying this she turned to leave but was stopped when Manik spoke.

Ma-mom......please......for once let me go....... let me sort out the things with Nandini please.

Hearing her life pleading him bought tears in her eyes. She controlled and composed herself and said turning to him.

Nyo-bahut late hogaya hai Manik.......you have made things very complicated......aur ab Nandini wapas aayegi coz abhi ko shadi hai..... so......anyways......ab tumhare aur Nandini k sath bahut saare relationship jud chuke hai... kuch bhi hova sab bikhar jayega.

Saying this she walked out. And tears made its way from both Manik's and nyonika's eyes. After cmg out nyonika spoke to herself.

Nyo-I m sorry Manik.......mei tumhare liye kuch nhi kar pa rhi ho.......but meine roz bhagwan si dua mangi hai.....k tuje teri Nandini wapas de de......aur muje bharosa hai....... ek maa ki dua kabhi rad nhi hoti hai........

She walked away from there. Well nobody knows that nyonika had visited so many temples and did lots of puja along with mannat so that Manik and Nandini get back together. And their separation pain is also reduced.

The remaining day passed in a jiffy. It was mid night when all were sleeping. Nyonika came in Manik's room and caressed his hair lovingly. As she can't love him openly.

She kissed his head and wiped his dried tears. As she knew he is suffering from a long time. She again prayed to god to end this pain of his child and give him back his happiness.

Loving him for a long time she came back in room and slept to start the new day.

Next morning after breakfast all got busy in the work. Coz within a week the wedding ceremonies will start. Well till now both the couples were not engaged too coz they wanted engagement to be done along with wedding.

And it was also dcd that engagement will he done together in a 7 star hotel. Then haldi at their respective places and mehndi and sangeet function to be done together on the same day and time at murthy's house. Wedding and reception at Malhotra mansion.

Back in Sydney. (This incident took place when it was 4 months after Nandini left India again)

Flashback (after engagement)

It was Sunday and Nandini was home. Well today she was not alone she had someone with her at her place.

Aryamaan Khurana. He is close to Nandini since a month now and often visits her place. (Rest of biodata is a secret for sometime will be revealed in later chps).

Aryamaan was with Nandini and they were spending the time. Nandini had invited him for lunch. So after lunch aryamaan was strolling around in her house and Nandini got busy in a phone call.

She came back after sometime and was drinking water when aryamaan came to her. He showed him some pictures and asked.

Ar-yeh kaun hai Nandini......

Nandini took the pictures from him and started seeing the pictures which got tears in her eyes. Aryamaan side hugged her and wiped her tears. Then Nandini told him abt Manik.

It was evening and aryamaan left from there. Nandini took some rest and then had her dinner. Later she got herself a mug of coffee and came in her terrace with those pictures and started gng through it.

Nandini sat on the couch on her terrace and started looking at the stars. While looking up she started remembering.

Flashback (Nandini's POV)

It was a month now after the dinner with Manik. It was one fine night or to be more precise mid night. Manik was sleeping comfortably on his bed.

But then he heard some sound and he pretended to be fast asleep. Slowly the noise was now felt and he realised that the intruder was on his bed. Within a blink of eye he rotated and took the figure under him and raised his fist to brutally punch the person but he was stopped when he heard the familiar voice.

Nan-Manik.......Manik it's me...... Nandini.

Manik stopped his hand mid way and the person removed the hoddie cap to reveal her face. After seeing her Manik stretched his hands and on the table lamp to see Nandini over there.

Still being on her he asked/said in shock.

Ma-Nandini......
