I must not, I can't not
Narrator POV
It was just in the flick of a wrist that Asura had them caught, his trap snapping to a close easily.
Efficiently.
So when he walked casually in Maka's hospital room,
And when he lifted her slender body up in his arms
And walked just as casually out of the hospitals front doors
No one was there to even put a hiccup in his plan.
They were all to caught up in a nightmare.
*Time skip*
All that time Maka Asura thought to himself All that time after I lost to you, and was forced to wait, the only thing I could think about was you
Asura set her gently down on his ragged bed, the only furniture in his disguised shelter, hiding them not only from the Meister's and weapons who were friends of Makas, but also from.....
CRASH!
The sound of splintering glass echoed in the measly home as Asura cursed lightly, bending over to pick up the shattered tea cup with his shaking hands.
Why am I so scared? Asura sighed shakily He can't find us here right? I wanted to be free for so long, to be with her, but now that He also is out and alive, it was probably better for me to stay dead..
Asura frowned at the mess and gave up trying to clean, instead, sitting gently by Maka's forcibly induced sleep.
Even through the guilt of knocking her out right after they both woke up, he could do nothing more than smile at her peaceful face, petting her loose hair gently.
When she wakes up, no telling what she will remember or not, He was in her mind longer than I was, if she forgot it all, then she would be mine, as long as I kept her pesky friends away, but that one white haired brat loves her too, and kicked the doors in to her mind,
The Kishin punched the side of the bed angrily, but stopped when the blond haired Meister's face twitched then resumed her peaceful slumber
Either way, it doesn't matter, the three boys that love her, her family and friends, they can't have her. I won't..
Sniffling peeked at the Kishin ears as Maka scratched at her nose and sat up, those green eyes that Kidd loved to stare into fluttering open and meeting concerned navy blue ones quickly.
"A-sura" her eyes watered and started to overflow
Asura picked up Maka in his arms and set her in his lap gently, rocking her slowly to calm her down.
"Its okay, I am right here, we are not going anywhere" Asura cooed in her ear.
Maka sobbed harder, and seemed to struggle weakly "You d-d-died, a-a-and, you hurt my friends"
"Shhh, it was just a nightmare" he laid her back down as her tears dried.
"A nightmare?" Her curious expression made Asura smile, which was odd for a Kishin.
"Yes" he moved and set her head in his lap gently, "Think, those weren't your friends were they? They were the enemy" he expanded his soul slightly, enveloping her, muddling her clear mind
"My- enemies?" She frowned but then a placid look overcame her
"You are my girlfriend, and you love me, they tried to hurt us" Asura said his eyes flashing a dark maroon as he spoke.
"I ..love ....you.....," Maka appeared to be fighting the brain washing tremendously, weakening Asura.
"We have each other, you are all that matters to me" He spoke through gritted teeth, finally finding her cave point, her mind now putty in his hands, free to mold however he wants.
"All.. that matters" Maka gave on last pulse of spiritual energy before she lost the will to fight, her eyes losing their usual luster, not a drop left of strength left in them,
"Yes" He hugged Maka tightly then laid her back down, smiling at her empty form, a jar waiting to be filled with whatever Asura could want.
"He he, I'm so glad we are back home, sweet heart" he pet her hair back, an emotionless smile on her face.
Now, he thought All that is left is to bring her back to her.. more perfect self, as I can change her mind at will, this should be easy
"Honey, this might sting a little" Asura placed his hands on Maka's temples, smiling apologetically.
On the outside, Maka felt nothing, and that lame look of obedience never changed,
But on the inside,
Oh,
The terrible things he was doing.
Her eyes no longer had the luster that he would desire, and her smile would always be fuzzy to him.
