Chapter 12

Darkness. That was all Teresa saw and she hated it. She wanted to know what was happening outside of the darkness, but her eyelids felt heavy and after a few moments of trying to open them, she gave up and let it be.

Her body was exhausted for unknown reasons and part of her face hurts. Teresa suspected that she must've gotten a wound from that mysterious explosion. And it's safe to say that Scott's feeling was right. However, Teresa was concerned because she was supposed to get somekind of gut feeling whenever danger is coming. Perhaps it wasn't that serious, but she would feel guilty if Scott happened to be harmed and injured because she felt somewhat responsible for it, although she doesn't want to admit it for obvious reasons.

Teresa heard Scott's raspy voice calling her name several times, but she couldn't respond to his calls, her lips felt very numb and didn't want to comply to her wishes.

Teresa held a flinch when she felt dirty hands on her face as she heard the words, "You're going to be okay," repeated several times before it suddenly stopped and she heard a thud near her, which made her heart dropped and her mind immediately panicked, questions running throughout her head.

Is Scott okay? What happened to him? Is he injured? Is his visors broken? Who's going to find us? What caused the explosion?

The last question lingered in her mind for a while before Teresa brushed it off.

That's not very important right now. It was not. However, she was very concerned that another explosion would erupt near them and there might not be anything she could do about it to safe Scott, since she doesn't know his exact position.

All of a sudden, Teresa felt hands on her face again, but this time, she knew it wasn't Scott's because his hands were soft while these hands were slightly rough but gentle and warm.

The young mutant has to admit that it felt comforting too for some odd reasons.

"I'm not losing another child again," the voice whispered into Teresa's ear, the volume barely a whisper but she had heard it loud and clear.

"Erik," she muttered softly and moved her head slightly, "where's Scott?"

"He's with Peter," Erik whispered again as another voice echoed through her ear, "Jean! Get Kurt,"

"I feel tired," Teresa murmured, ignoring the other voice, as a sigh erupted from her biological father's throat.

"Just- go to sleep," was the last thing she heard before darkness took control of her once more and she let it.

"She does not have as many injuries as I expected," Hank muttered, his voice laced with slight joy, looking back and forth at the unconscious female mutant.

Erik tutted in disapproval while Scott, who was beside Hank frowned deeply as if he had said something bad about his pet. "But she's still injured badly, isn't she?" He questioned, before moving his head to the side to look at her, only to have Hank narrowed his eyes at him, silently warning him not to get up.

"Yes, but her wounds aren't as bad as it seems," The teacher started, completely ignoring the glares he was getting from Erik and Warren, "Most of them had suprisingly healed faster than Scott's, except for this large gash on her face." Hank informed them, showing them the large cut on Teresa's upper cheek.

"Will it...heal?" Scott asked, looking up at him, his expression and voice slightly desperate for answers.

Erik and Peter couldn't blame him for his desperate behaviour, because they, too, were impatiently waiting for Teresa's results as they watched the unconscious female mutant from a safe distance, her face deathly pale as if she had never been under the sun, her dark brown hair that was usually in a high ponytail was released in an attempt to comfort her as a few strands of hair made way onto the beautiful mutant's face.

"It might," he paused, turning to the young mutant, "for a long period of time."

Silently, Erik rushed out of the clinic with a disturbed expression, which had not gone unnoticed by Charles, who rushed after him, confusion and curiousity written all over his face.

"Where are you going, Erik?" He inquired, the british accent evident in his voice.

"I need to get some-" Erik paused, "fresh air," and with that, he tries to walk away from the clinic but Charles stopped him by halting his wheelchair in the way, preventing him from going any further.

"Stop trying to avoid this situation, Erik," He said, eyes filled with sympathy, "You need to be there for her and don't just run away. Peter is there with her too, and unlike Nina, Teresa has a chance to live-"

The metal lockers near them were crushed into pieces by a violent and angry force until there was nothing left but a useless piece of metal. Charles doesn't glance at the metal lockers but instead, he dared to continue to look at Erik's raging eyes.

"DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT!" Erik roared, "DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT AS IF YOU KNEW THAT SHE DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE!"

"But she didn't," Charles raised his eyebrow, "did she?"

The harsh question sharply brought Erik's senses back to the unfair reality. Even though he disliked the truth, the deadly mutant relaxed slightly as rage began to lessen in his eyes, but there was still some left. "She actually did have a chance, Charles," he glared at Charles, his gaze left the teacher's blue eyes from his raging ones.

"Their deaths were mostly my fault," Erik said. "Nina and her mother could have ran away and have a safe life without me."

He breathed heavily and closed his eyes, "Until an officer shot them dead."

"It was an accident. You couldn't have known, Erik." Charles tries to convince him otherwise, "Besides, even if they had ran away, she would have tried to help you escape. Before her death, she was trying to help you escape."

"You made a promise to her that you won't let them take you away from her," he added. "You broke that promise for her own good, however, much like you- and Teresa- Nina was stubborn and tries to prevent that from happening with the powers she had inherited from your mutant gene."

"Apparently, she had to be stubborn," muttered Erik.

"It's in the Lehnsherr bloodline," Charles stated, "Peter didn't give up after several failed attempts to see you again."

"And yet, he had not told me the truth after we met for the second time," he remarked, his tone rough but Charles could hear a hint of sadness between it, although the deadly mutant hid it very well.

"What happened if Teresa were to not wake up again?" He suddenly asked.

"Hank said that she most likely will," Erik narrowed his eyes at Charles.

"I know that, but what if?" The deadly mutant turned to Charles and responded, "Then another piece of my heart will forever shatter into pieces, knowing that I had failed my duties as a father again, which was to protect my children." Erik pursed his lips and informed his old friend, "If that happens, I would go on a killing spree again, starting with that dumb mutant called Scott Summers." He grinned viciously, "Don't worry, it will all be over with a snap of my finger. I know how much he currently is hurting."

"But I know that it will not stop the pain that's going to kill inside me if I were to lose another child," Erik grimaced, glancing at Charles, "and I'm not just talking about Teresa."

A soft tune blared throughout the clinic room, as the slightly annoyed teacher that was watching after the patients, glanced from his book and onto the source of the beautiful melody. An irritated expression made way onto his face when he saw the smirk on Warren Worthington's face and continued to hum the soft tune loudly. Hank rolled his eyes and turned his attention back onto the interesting book in his hands, however, his attention faltered after he felt two amused eyes staring into his soul.

Hank sighed and shut his book, knowing fully well that Warren was bored and wanted attention. However, he doesn't want to play one of his student's little games and turned his attention onto Scott Summers. His face were covered in scratches and bruises, most of them could be found on his left cheek while the largest one could be found on his upper lip and forehead. Hank managed to healed it, so it didn't look as bad as it was when the team had found the two unconscious mutants on the road. However, Hank doubted that the scratches would heal soon, seeing as they were new and quite large.

Hank grunted when Warren interrupted his thoughts with his humming again, but the adult did not make a move to stop him, because the winged mutant's humming had suprisingly made Scott fall asleep. Hank made a small noise when he saw the young mutant's visors on the small table beside him in dismay and made a note to himself to make another visor for Scott, since his current ones had cracks on it, most likely from the strong force that had wounded him and Teresa.

"Hey Hank?" Warren inquired.

"Yeah?" The teacher glanced at the winged mutant on the clinic bed.

"I'm thirsty," he said, "Can you get me some water?"

"No," was the only thing that Hank responded, before he turned back to his book.

"Please!" Warren whined. "I'm so thirsty! I could drink as much as Peter does! And he drinks a lot."

"I HEARD THAT, WORTHINGTON!!" A familiar silver-haired mutant came into the room within a second, a glare was displayed on his face while his hands held a delicious burrito.

"Shut it, Maximoff," Warren hissed, "You're going to wake Scott freaking Summers up and I would have to use my extraordinary voice to make him fall asleep again, if he even wants to go back to sleep. Either that or I would have to see his pouty puppy face mouring Teresa as if she had passed away."

"If you are so afraid of waking Cyclops up, Worthington, then why in the world are you still talking to me?!"

"Because there's a little something called boredom in this world and I would rather talk to you than Hank," Warren glanced at the teacher, who had an amused smile on his face. "I would usually talk to Sofia right about now, but she's not here."

"That's because she's in class," said Hank.

"You might want to take that sentence back, Hank," Peter took a bite of his burrito as the teacher narrowed his eyes at him, "Sofia is currently hiding outside the clinic room and she's also hearing this conversation, along with Lion."

The little girl outside of the clinic room facepalmed herself and internally screamed at the older mutant for exposing her presence. Her eyes went wide when Hank headed to the door with an angry look and she immediately tries to ran away from him. However, Sofia stopped after she felt a strong grip on her wrist.

"Sofia Harrison," Hank's stern voice made the little girl turned to him, "what are you doing outside of class, young lady?"

"Visiting Teresa," Sofia mumbled, "you wouldn't let me see her-"

"That's because you have classes, Sofia," Hank interjected.

"But you wouldn't have let me visit Teresa even after I'm finished with my classes," the young mutant crossed her arms with a frown.

"Teresa hasn't woken up yet, and we have no idea when she will, so Erik and Charles decided that it's better for her not to have any visitors."

"Why is Erik able to make that decision for Teresa?" Sofia frowned even more, but curiousity and confusion was evident in her eyes. "I understand why Charles is allowed to, but Erik-"

"Erik is Teresa's biological father," Hank informed her. "He has every right to make choices for Teresa and I know I'm not supposed to say this but Erik's choices are much more important than Charles', since he is her father."

"Now, come on. We have to get you to class," the teacher told the little girl.

"But-"

"No arguing, Sofia." The little girl huffed stubbornly, but nodded and grabbed his hand. Turning back, she glared at Peter who was eavesdropping on their conversation, before she and Hank walk towards her next class.

"Does Sofia know that you're Teresa's half brother?" Warren suddenly inquired from behind, turning his head to the side of the bed, so that he was facing Peter.

"Nah," Peter shook his head, "She would not be too thrilled with the news at all."

"Why?" Warren raised his eyebrow. "Wouldn't Sofia be happy that Teresa had found her biological family?"

"She would be until she finds out that I knew all this time and didn't tell the truth sooner to Erik," a raspy voice answered.

"Teresa!" Peter shrieked in delight and rushed towards his half sister.

"Slow down, would ya?" Teresa asked, her eyes fluttered tiredly, as she squirmed into the blanket covering her, not enjoying being wrapped in it at all.

"That's not something you hear every day," Warren snickered, but Peter ignored him.

"How are you feeling?" Scott inquired, shifting comfortably to face Teresa, as he suprised the three mutants who thought he was asleep. Then, they realized that Peter's little outburst was to blame for waking the poor mutant up. Unbeknownst to Teresa and Warren, Peter had purposely made an outburst that was loud enough to wake Scott up, because he knew that the young mutant would want to know about Teresa's condition.

"Headache," was the only answer Teresa would give them, but that answer quickly made her half-brother fuss over her.

"Are you thirsty or hungry?" Peter quickly asked. "Kurt sometimes get headaches because he has not eaten yet."

"Well," Teresa glanced at Warren, "I am a little thirsty-"

In a few seconds, Peter disappeared and re-appeared with two glass of water. Warren beamed in delight, thinking that the other glass was for him until the older mutant placed the two glasses on Teresa's and Scott's small wooden table, much to his dismay and annoyance.

"These drinks are only for patients who went unconscious or badly injured," Peter said, noticing the grumpy look on Warren's face.

"Well, at least buy me some McDonalds! I'm starving and since you apparently wouldn't get me some water, that's the least you could do." Warren demanded.

"May I remind you that going to McDonalds was what made us in this mess in the first place?" Scott grimaced.

"And may I remind you that I'm still starving like an animal," the winged mutant shot Scott a look.

"Alright, princess," Peter rolled his eyes, "I'll get you some french fries from McDonalds, so that you could be satisfied."

"I'm with Scott on this one," Teresa interjected, "If Peter gets hurt because of this, I doubt that Erik would even let the two of us eat from any restaurants and he's most likely going to kill Warren too."

"If I don't get my food, I'll kill him. If Peter gets injured because of it and don't get my food, we're going to get into a battle and he'll most likely kill me. But if Peter makes it in one piece without a single scratch and bring me my food, it's a win-win situation and we won't kill each other." Warren pointed out.

"You really thought this through, didn't you?" Scott inquired.

"Yes, I did," Warren replied smugly. "Besides, I think you two are forgetting something. Peter has super speed and you two don't."

"But you are also forgetting that Peter's senses aren't as good as Teresa's," Scott reminded him, "and she had not even suspected a thing. I did,"

"That's because you got hurt, Teresa had only gotten a couple of bruises and a large scratch but nothing too serious like your injuries," said Warren.

"Exactly!" Scott exclaimed, trying his best to prove his point while using Warren's words against him.

"Then why can't I just take Teresa with me? I can just carry her-"

"NO!!" Both Warren and Scott shouted in immediate protest, startling the two siblings, although they try not to show it.

"The poor girl had just woken up from her sleep and you want her to accompany you to McDonalds? When she was knocked out because she wanted to go there because of my selfish request?" Warren narrowed his eyes at Peter as if he had just kicked his puppy.

"You literally just admitted that you are selfish," the older mutant stated, slightly speechless.

"That's not the point here," he quickly changed the subject, "the point is, Teresa is not in the perfect condition to go anywhere. She needs rest, food and water."

"And she will have all of that!" Peter exclaimed. "Jeez, you two are acting as if I'm going to treat her like an animal. She's my sister for goodness' sake!"

"So, you would know better than to let her go outside when she needs rest!"

"Fine then!" Peter glared at Scott in defeat. "I'll go alone, but you'll have to look after Teresa while I'm gone. And I expect you to take care of her like a mama bear. But then again, I don't think that it would be hard for you, seeing as you're acting like one."

"Now, wait just a minute-" but Scott was unable to say anything when Peter ran out of the room, using his power.

"PETER! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NOT TO RUN THROUGH THE HALLS?! YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE ME FALL DOWN AGAIN AND MAKE MY HAIR FRIZZY LIKE A BIRD'S NEST!" Elizabeth's shouts echoed throughout the halls as Scott's eyes widen in suprise, reminding himself not to get in the young mutant's bad mood. "And what were you doing in the clinic?! Hank is going to be so pissed! You could as well as woken up all the patients there, not to mention Teresa- don't you want your own biological sister to get the rest and sleep that she needs?!"

"Isn't that the same thing?" Ororo questioned.

"Not quite," Hailey shook her head, "Both the mind and body needs relax for a certain amount of time. Sleeping does that and helps the body to get the energy it needed, although not entirely unless that person is hungry or thirsty and other situations. Resting only helps the body to relax while the mind is still working, therefore, it might still be tiring. But in this situation, Elizabeth wants Teresa to get sleep and rest, although not at the same time. She is just scolding Peter for being noisy in fear of waking Teresa up, since she is sleeping. However, Elizabeth doesn't know if Teresa is awake and if she is, she wants her to get rest. Why Elizabeth scolds Peter for being noisy, even though Teresa might be awake? Well, my sister is afraid that Teresa might not be getting any rest because she feels disturbed by Peter's noisy sounds."

"Oh...uh- wow...alright, thanks," Jubilee nodded a few times, speechless.

"You are certainly welcome," she replied, nodding in acknowledgement.

"And the younger students loves to call me a nerd," Scott scoffed in disbelief.

"How does she know this so well?" Ororo asked Jubilee through a whisper.

"I merely pay attention to the little things and try to differenciate them to one another," Hailey answered, walking pass through them. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I want to visit one of the only mutants I tolerate in this school other than Jubilee,"

"Hey! She doesn't tolerate me?" Warren asked, looking quite offended, overhearing Hailey's statement.

"I try to," was the only reply Hailey could give, shocking the three mutants in the clinic, not expecting her to answer him.

Must be one of her powers. Teresa thought to herself as she shifted comfortably and tucked herself back into the soft and white clinic sheets.

Warren moaned in disgust as he looked at the grey porridge-like food on his bowl and glanced at Erik, who was gently feeding Teresa with his bare hand, much to everyone's suprise and Charles' delight.

"My hands still works, Hank," Scott protested, but was cut off when a spoon stuffed his mouth, preventing him from saying any more.

"Yes, but you aren't exactly using your hands to eat this...solid food, Scott," he replied and took out the wooden spoon before Scott gagged in disgust.

"Where is Peter?" Warren asked, his eyes widen, as he poked the grey food with his spoon. "It's been two hours since we last saw him!"

"Why?" Hank raised his eyebrow, stuffing another spoon into Scott's mouth. "You want him to feed you like Scott and Teresa?"

"No," Warren deadpanned, his face dead serious, "I told him to get me some McDonalds and he agreed,"

"What?!" Erik's head snapped into Warren's direction so fast that Teresa could have sworn that his neck was close to breaking into two pieces.

"Well- umm....he sort of volunteered to- uh- get me some food-"

"He's not supposed to be out," the deadly mutant firmly said, as he stood up and walked towards Warren, only stopping when his face was close to the young mutant's face, his eyes narrowed dangerously at him. "No one is," and with that, he moved away and directed his attention towards Hank. "Charles had just recently announced that the school was going into a lockdown. His orders, not mine."

Warren glanced at Hank with a confused expression. He sighed and calmly explained, "After Teresa had told us about the hooded man, Charles had taken a few safety procedures, because we don't know much about the mysterious mutant and we want to make sure everyone is safe. At first, it was just an idea we had in mind until Scott, Teresa and Sofia got injured and we knew that we had to make that idea into a reality before anyone gets injured again."

"But as it turned out," Erik glared at Warren, crossing his arms, "another one of my children could get injured again because of your stupidity, Warren Worthington, and mark my words if you are the cause of one their deaths, they won't even be able to find one strand of your curly little hair. Got it?"

Warren gulped before nodding vigorously. It was obvious that the overprotective father of two doesn't like the winged mutant a single bit. They had fought side by side before during a battle with Apocalypse, however, after the curly haired mutant became the cause of one of his children's injuries because of his selfishness, he soon grow to dislike the young mutant and tries to prevent his injured daughter from being close to him. But it seems that might be the next great challenge for Erik since Warren has to stay in the same clinic as his daughter, although he would be out of there soon, the overprotective father preferred if he got out of there sooner rather than later.

"Dr. Spencer, are you sure that Warren Worthington can't leave the clinic soon?" Erik inquired as the doctor wore an annoyed look, although he tries to cover it up, knowing that he has to look professional for his patient's father. Teresa was suprised that the doctor was still patient with her father since he had asked him for nearly the twenty sixth time and she wonders when will he ask the twenty seventh time.

"Mr. Lehnsherr, I can assure you that Warren will be out of the clinic as soon as possible after I checked his vitals one last time. And please correct me if I'm wrong, but your daughter was the one who had placed Mr. Worthington here." Dr. Devin Spencer smiled when Erik glared at him and became silent. "Of course, he wouldn't have been here if your daughter controlled that mysterious powers of hers, although I applaud her exceptional control of her powers. I don't remember a mutant who had not shown their powers for the longest time as she has. You are bound to show it, Teresa. Powers as strong as yours would try and urge you to let it out."

"Maybe someday, Dr. Spencer," the young mutant responded.

Dr. Spencer nodded but before he could say anything else, there was a sudden bang and the doors of the clinic bursted wide open, revealing the mutant who barged into the clinic; Lily.

"H-He's hurt," she sobbed, covering her face with her little hands.

"Lily," Hank gently began, moving towards her, "who's hurt?"

But the little girl cried even more and didn't answer his question, only pointing to a certain direction, as Erik looked at her curiously while Dr. Spencer rushed past her and went somewhere to find out what Lily was crying about.

"I wanna see," Teresa exclaimed and tries to get up, but was stopped when a heavy metal object formed into a seatbelt and held her to the clinic bed.

"You need to rest," Erik firmly said and left the clinic before Teresa could even say a word.

The young mutant silently huffed and placed her delicately soft hands onto the metal seatbelt. Scott watched with wonder and awe as the metal levitated and broke into pieces, before it gently and silently fell onto the floor. Teresa carefully stood up from her bed, her sore feet wobbled, threatening to fall any moment as it had a hard time carrying the weight of the teenage girl's body. Thankfully, Teresa's trusty pet, Lion, ran towards her and leaned himself against her in an attempt to prevent her from falling.

"Telekinesis," he softly said.

Grunting in response, Teresa moved closer to the door, ignoring Scott's new found knowledge. It wasn't that she was mad at Scott for finding out the truth of her powers, but she's a little bit disappointed that he had not found out sooner after being her room mate for several months. Perhaps, the young mutant had expected a bit too much of Scott, but who exactly could blame her? He was practically one of the leaders of the X-men if Charles, Mystique or Hank wasn't there. He was the mutant who had sensed danger coming towards them when Teresa couldn't, although she had great senses.

Speaking of Scott and the recent incident, Teresa still can't help but wonder about it and what had happened. She wasn't too interested in knowing of how the explosion was made but rather what caused her senses to go hayware. Warren previously stated that Teresa had no minor injuries other than bruises and a few scratches, unlike Scott, who has a few because of the incident. Perhaps that was what triggered Scott's senses, however, the young mutant was concerned that her senses were beginning to be somewhat 'selfish' because it had sensed no danger towards herself but had not at all warned her about the danger other people would be facing.

"What are you doing here?!" A voice exclaimed as Teresa felt hands on her shoulders and back. "Are you nuts? You could as well as injured yourself again!"

"Yeah, that's definitely not going to look pretty," remarked Hailey.

"If you're trying to get me back to the clinic, I swear-"

"You don't have to threaten us with anything, we will take you to the school's entrance either way," Hailey told her.

"Besides, we think that you need to see this. After all, Ororo said that it's about your brother," Elizabeth stated with a grimace as a dreaded feeling slowly creeped deep inside Teresa's gut.

"Peter has not came back yet," she informed them.

"Oh, but he has," Elizabeth said darkly, helping Teresa to move closer to the school's entrance, "just...barely," she gulped and shook her head.

Teresa's eyes widen in disbelief when she saw the very large crowd in front of her. Elizabeth made a noise of disapproval while Hailey squinted her eyes before humming in wonder and she, along with Teresa, walked into the large crowd, pushing aside the other mutants, wanting to see what was in the very front of the crowd. Elizabeth's eyes widen in suprise before pushing away the mutants in her way and followed after her sister and Teresa, slightly fearing that the young mutant might get injured or something much worse.

Teresa's made a noise of confusion when she felt unknown hands on her back, alarming Hailey who had noticed her discomfort, as she whipped her head around to see the mutant who was preventing Teresa from going any further, only to sigh in relief when she sees Jean Grey standing behind Teresa, confusion and rage all over her face.

"What is she doing here?" Jean questioned, demanding an answer from Hailey.

"I'm getting her to the front of the crowd to show her what Ororo was talking about," she cooly responded.

"No," Jean shook her head, "she's not supposed to be here at all. Teresa, come on, we're getting you back to the clinic."

"We?" Hailey voiced out, "You think I'm going to help you get Teresa back to the clinic?"

She chuckled humourlessly. "You really are full of suprises, Jean Grey."

"If she stays here, she would get trampled by the crowd," the ginger mutant hissed. "If Erik finds out about this, he will-"

"He will what? Hurt me? Have my head? Call my father?" Hailey narrowed her eyes at Jean. "I don't have anything to lose and you're forgetting that Teresa has a right to know what happened. Peter is her brother-"

"Half-brother," she quickly corrected.

"So? He's still her family. She has the right to know. The only family you ever had for the longest time was Charles and because of what? You couldn't control your own powers?" Hailey spat out. "By doing this, you're practically keeping a family apart. By doing this, you're keeping Teresa apart from her own family. She doesn't care about her family because she doesn't know much about them. Let Teresa have that feeling you had whenever you are with your family or even better, let her have her own feeling when she's with her family."

Jean became silent and stared at Hailey before lifting her hand up, looking like she wanted to strike the younger mutant. And for a second, Teresa thought that Jean was really about to hit her until she felt the ground shook and a strong gush of wind that was so powerful it knocked the crowd over. If Teresa had not known better, she would have thought that a tornado and earthquake were about to start a fight with one another, but to be fair, Hailey's and Jean's argument was somewhat nearly the same as those natural disasters combined as one.

"This is a one time thing only," Jean said, her eyes avoided meeting Hailey's brown ones, as she stepped aside and helped a few young students get up, apologizing for what she had done.

Teresa let out a breath of shock, eyes widening in disbelief at the sight, before she ran towards Peter. Hailey followed after her, all the while screaming for her not to run because she might fall down and get injured. However, the young mutant didn't care and it suddenly felt like a rush of wind flew pass her as time slowed down, and the only thing Teresa could hear was the breaths erupting from her chest. She knew....that this would be the first time she showed emotion in public- where many people would be watching her- but she can't help it. She just kept running and running, not stopping for a single second, even with the few pleads and screams for her to stop, she just can't seem to stop.... not when she saw her half-brother's beaten body.

Do not copy. So....uh, I honestly don't know what to say in this chapter. But I'll start of saying that this might be one of the longest chapters I've ever written. (Might possibly be the longest.) Although most incredible authors had written their chapters longer than mine, I feel quite happy of the progress I'm making.  And I'm super grateful with the many amazing readers who kept on reading my story. The ending wasn't as what I liked it to be, but I hope you guys enjoy it and again, thanks for reading my story!
