I'm not as active as I use to be in Wattpad. but I'd thought to write in a story I had been writing in my notebook during class while on break! It's a short story! So bare with me! Thanks! Enjoy'

Team Natsu was in the middle of fighting a giant monster in the forest near the guild

"Is that the best you can do, bastard?!" Natsu yelled, punching the monster with his flared hands. Erza used her swords, Gray used his ice, and Lucy used Sagittarius

This Monster was pretty tough, but it's nothing Team Natsu can't handle

"Natsu, be careful!" Erza yelled "This monster has a hidden power!" Natsu smirked

"That'll make this more interesting! I'm all fired up! Come at me!" He shouted, running up to it. it roared loudly and swung it's arm

"Don't get cocky, asshole!" Gray shouted

"What you say!?" Natsu got distracted and was punched into a stone wall

"Natsu!" Lucy gasped. The monster punched Erza and Gray near Natsu "Everyone!" She glared at the monster and pointed Sagittarius's key at it

"Sagittarius!" Sagittarius nodded at her command

"Yes Miss Lucy!" Sagittarius pulled his bow and arrow

"Go Lucy! Go Sagittarius!" Happy cheered. before the arrow could hit the monster. its eyes glowed and a laser shot out, destroyed the arrow and struck Lucy on her forehead. Team Natsu's eyes widened at her body collapsing to the rock ground, unconscious

"LUCY!!" Natsu shouted, tears rolling down his cheeks. "you bastard! You're going to pay for hurting my friends, especially Lucy!" His entire body flared in flames and attacked while Erza, Gray, and Happy rushed over towards Lucy's body

"Lucy! Wake up! Are you alright!?" Erza yelled, shaking her shoulders

"She isn't physically damaged, but still. we better get her out of here!" Gray said. Natsu ran over after defeating the monster "huh? You already finished?" Natsu glared and punched his cheek

"Shut the hell up!" The two were about to start a fight before Erza punched both their heads

"This isn't the time! We have to take Lucy to the guild!" The boys nodded

"Right" Natsu carried Lucy's unconscious body and ran off without them "hang on there Lucy..." he frowned

The team reach the Guild and ran to the infirmary without saying anything to anyone. Wendy and Carla followed

He gently placed Lucy's body down on the bed and held her cheek "Lucy..." Erza walked in with Gray, and put her hand on his shoulder

"She'll be fine, she'll live" Natsu nodded and stared down at his bestfriend laying on the bed. Wendy rushed over to her side

"What happened!?" She asked in a panic

"We were fighting a monster" Gray said "it took us down and Lucy was the only one standing, but it used it's hidden power on her..."

"Monster? Hidden power?" Carla started thinking. Wendy hovered her hands over Lucy's body and started using her healing magic

"Will she be okay..?" Happy asked, sobbing. Carla pat his back

"Of course" Wendy finished and was out of breath from using too much magic

"There.." she sighed "she should be good!" She smiled. Natsu and Gray sighed in relief. Erza walked to the door

"I'm going to do some research on the monster who hurt her. Natsu, take her home" she exit with Gray. Natsu smiled at Lucy and carried her bridal style

"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you, Luce..." Wendy smiled at his relax face "see yah Wendy, thanks for helping her" he exits.

"He really cares about her, huh?" She asked

"If only he knew what the meaning of love was, Carla said. Wendy blushed

"L-Love..?" Carla giggled

"You have much to learn"

Natsu and Happy took Lucy home. Natsu laid her on her bed while Happy opened the sheets and covered her

"She said she'll be okay, right?" Natsu asked, frowning

"Yeah..." he took her celestial keys and put them on the dresser

"our Lucy is strong, no doubt" Happy put on a big smile and covered his lips

"You liikkkkee her!"

"Uh..." Natsu sweat dropped "okay?" He didn't even know what that meant "come on, let's check up on her tomorrow"

"Aye..."

"Come on Luce... wake up" Natus frowned. it's been a week since he defeated the monster and Lucy still hasn't woken up. Wendy couldn't wake her and Erza was stuck in the library with Levy. trying to figure out the hidden power the monster held

"She'll wake up soon, Natsu" Happy frowned "Wendy said so.." The two hadn't left her house since they dropped her off last week. Natsu wanted to make she she was okay

"Come on Natsu" Happy opened his wings and pulled on Natsu's scarf "let's go on a job, they'll take your mind off things! Her spirits are here, don't worry" Natsu nodded and stood up from her bed

"Alright, I could do a job" he smiled and looked down at Lucy's peaceful face "we'll be back" they exit

Lucy opened her eyes and looked at the morning sun "what a lovely day..." her face was relaxed and her posture was perfect. she looked down and saw Natsu's scarf on her lap "Natsu..." why is it here?

"He left it here because he thinks itself keep you safe" Lucy looked up at Virgo, coming out of nowhere "you've been asleep for a week" Lucy looked down at the scarf and hugged it

"It's sweet..." she smiled "Virgo, may you draw my bath?" Virgo bowed

"Yes princess" she stared at Lucy's new appearance "Princess?" Lucy looked up confused

"Yes Virgo?"

"You... seem different"

"Different?" Virgo blushed at Lucy's relaxed face. Capricorn came out of thin air and bowed

"Shall I prepare you something Miss Lucy?" He asked. Lucy smiled softly

"Yes, thank you" Virgo blushed again at her tender voice and gentle smile

"Capricorn..." Virgo called. he looked up and gasped wide eyed at Lucy

"Miss Layla..?" Lucy tilted her head to the side confused "no... Miss Laula had a older appearance... Miss Lucy?"

"Yes?" He blinked a few times, than fixed his tie

"You... seem different" she held her cheeks confused, turned her legs off the bed to stand up, and ended up falling forward into Loke/ Leo's arms

"You have to take it easy, Luce" he smiled, sitting her down on the bed. he froze when she gently placed her hand on his shoulder, gently smiled, and made him blush. she did seem different

"I-I shall prepare your meal, Miss La-Lucy"..." Capricorn said, nervously

"Thank you, Capricorn" He nodded and walked out with Virgo. Loke stared at Lucy staring at the scarf

"Is that Natsu's?" She nodded and smiled down at it "he was worried. he was in your room all week, watching over you"

"Yes... I believe you. I would done the same if it was him" he nodded and stared at her glowing beauty. she became a actual princess...

"I love you Lucy" he smiled. he would always say this to every girl. After he joined her team, she's the only one he tells his feelings to, but he was still a playboy, she ran her fingers in his lion red hair with a warm smile. he blushed

"Love you too Loke" Loke frowned and held her cheek

"Something happened, you're not yourself" before she could say something, Capricorn came back to the room

"Miss Lucy... your meal is prepared" she nodded and temp to stand, but Loke beat her to it and carried her downstairs

"Can't have a princess walking when she hadn't ate in a week!" He laughed. she smiled and held Natsu's scarf close, wondering what he's doing right now

After she ate slowly and elegantly, Virgo walked her to her bath

"Can I join?" Loke grinned. Lucy looked behind her shoulder, at him, and made a soft smile (of rejection) and walked away. he smiled and looked up at Capricorn

"Do you think she'll be okay?"

"We'll see. I'm actually pleased to see her act like Miss Layla for awhile. it brings back memories..."

After Lucy took a hot bath, Virgo had brought a princess dress that maidens used to wear back in the days, or what rich people where not like Layla did.

The dress was a sky blue color with light white ruffles under the long shirt. the bodice was blue as well, with a gold piece around her stomach. gold ribbons went downward, and white sparkles shined the whole thing. specially came from the Celestial World

"Is this to your liking, Princess?" Virgo asked "I thought it suit you perfect for today"

"It's beautiful!" Lucy smiled at the mirror while Cancer did her hair in a high bun "it's not too fancy and its pretty casual... thank you very much Virgo" Virgo bowed

"Punishment?" Lucy smiled and picked up her keys after all the spirits, but Loke, disappeared. He sat on his knee and bowed respectfully

"Shall I walk you to the guild, you majesty?" She giggled and took the hand he offered

"You may" he smiled and walked her through the city. she still had Natsu's scarf, folded in a square and held it close

"So Lucy, how come you're acting like that?" He finally asked. she tilted her head confused

"Pardon?"

"You're not yourself" she looked down at the scarf

"I'm not sure... does it bother you?" She frowned. he shook his head

"I love you in any way you are Lucy" she smiled sweetly and looked up the guild "do you want me to go in with you?"

"I'm fine" she faced him "thank you Loke" he sat on his knee and bowed

"It is my pleasure, princess" he kissed the back of her hand with the guild mark on it, and disappeared. she looked around to see people glancing at her, asking each other who she was and if she was a princess.

She smiled politely and walked into the guild. the loud and silent guild soon became silent when they saw Lucy walk in. not recognizing her

"Who's she?" Romeo asked

"A princess?" Mira asked. Erza put down her book and walked over

"May we help you miss?" Lucy hugged Natsu's scarf. Erza's eyes widened "d-did something happened to Natsu and Happy?"

"Why no... at least, I don't think..." Lucy frowned at her friend's confuse faces. Wendy sniffed the air at the familiar scent and walked over

"Lucy? Why are you dressed like that?" Erza's jaw dropped at Lucy's appearance. the guild looked at each other

"Lucy?" Erza asked

"Yes?" Lucy smiled a beautiful smile, happy she was recognized again "I am Lucy"

"Eh!?!?" Everyone gasped. she hugged the scarf again and smiled

"What happened to you!?" Erza asked

"Nothing?"

"Are you feeling okay now?" Wendy frowned

"Yes, I took that blow pretty hard but I'm okay now" Lucy looked at Erza's wide eyes "is there something on my face?" She held her cheeks embarrassed. Gray walked up to her

"I didn't even recognize you, why are you wearing that?"

"It's pretty" she played with her dress. Levy hugged her from the side

"I think you look lovely!"

"Like a real princess!" Lisanna said

"Thank you!" Lucy walked over to Mira behind the bar "May I get some tea?" Mira nodded happily

"Of course, Princess!" Erza ran to her book of the monster they fought last week

"Could this be the hidden power it had? Personality twist?"

Natsu got back from his job with Happy. He wish the villain was more of a challenge "I still can't believe you left your scarf at Lucy's" Happy said

"I knew it would be safe with her" Natsu smiled "it was like a body guard for her when I'm not there!"

"Scarf for a bodyguard? are you mental?"

"Shaddup!" The two went into Lucy's home to check up on her. she wasn't around, nor her keys

"Huh? Where she go?" You went into the shower and saw that it was used "looks like she woke up"

"Were you really going to see if she was in the shower?"Happy sweat dropped

"Huh? Why not?" Happy shrugged

"You have much to learn..."

"Whatever, let's check the guild"

"Aye!" They hurried to the guild to see if Lucy was actually there and slam the doors open

"Oi! Natsu, Happy! You're back!" Gray waved. The boys ran over to their table

"Hey guys!" He greeted his team "have you seen Lucy?" Wendy pointed at the unfamiliar female in a dress, drinking tea like a princess

"Huh? Who's that?" Lucy looked up and smiled brightly, still relaxed

"Natsu!" She put down her cup and picked up the scarf to hurry to him "you're back" he blink a few times

"Do I-" he smelled her scent and recognized it "Lucy?" She giggled and his scarf around him happily

"why are you wearing that?" Happy asked "it's not like that cosplay is going to cover your oversize boobs" he laughed. Lucy flinched and started to cry. Happy's jaw dropped dramatically "Lucy-" she ran away crying

"Happy! You're so cruel!" She yelled, running out the guild. Happy put his hands on the floor in defeat

"S-she cried... I made Lucy cry? She would always have something back to say... what of a cat am I? What has the world come to?"

"Happy..." Natsu sweat dropped, them looked at Erza and Levy pointing at the same book "what's with Lucy? Why is she dressing like that?"

"We just found out the hidden power that hit Lucy" Erza said

"The hidden power? You got it? Well, come on! Tell me!"

"Let her finish dumb ass!" Gray yelled. Natsu was going to start something, but was more interested in hearing of the hidden power

"Go on..." Erza nodded and looked at Levy. Levy nodded and looked at the book

"The monster you had fought is called the Umélie monster. it uses it's physical power to fight but when it knows it will be defeated it used as special magical personality bond"

"Personality Bond?" Wendy asked

"Yes" Erza said "changes the targets personality with whatever they dream about. anything that will be opposite of who they are, to decrease the chance of beating the monster"

"For example!" Levy brought out a chart "once the dark it has been hit they will go to deep sleep and dream of someone for a week that should be enough time for the dreamer to copy their personality"

"So if Lucy dreamed of Erza..." Happy thought "than Lucy would act like Erza!" Natsu and Gray started imagining how terrifying it would be to have two Erza's getting on them

"So... who did Lucy dream about? we don't know anyone who dresses like that" Gray said

"Lucy's mother..." Natsu said. everyone looked at him confused "I found a picture of Lucy as a kid, next to her parents. now that I mention it, the woman next to Lucy looks a lot like she does now. so Lucy dreamed of her mother!" Everyone's jaw dropped at him "what?"

"Natsu said something smart!" Everyone ran to the corner, terrified. Natsu sweat dropped

"Shaddup!" Everyone started laughing "just tell me how to undo this so I can find Lucy" Levy looked at her book and frowned

"It says you have to defeat her in battle..." everyone's eyes widened

"What?! Fight Lucy!? But that's crazy! Happy cried

"How can we fight one of our friends?" Wendy frowned

"There's nothing really wrong with Lucy" Carla explained "she's acting like her mother, its not like she dreamed of zeref or something"

"That's true..." Gray sighed

"But I don't like the idea of our Lucy acting like she's so much she's not" Natsu said, serious "she ran away from that mansion so she wouldn't have to become someone she's not" Erza frowned

"Natsu..."

"I want Lucy back there has to be another way to bring her back!"

"You liikkkkee her!" Happy grinned

"I'm sorry Natsu... The only way to get her bag is by beating her" Levy frowned. Natsu glared and ran out the guild

"I'll find a damn way!" he shouted before he ran to Lucy's house. Happy stood on the door way, watching him leave

"Natsu..."

Natsu talked to Lucy's house and heard crying "Lucy?"

"Natsu..?" He followed her voice and found her in her room with her dress on the bed and wearing a plain white nightgown, crying. she owns a night gown?

"Lucy..." he sat next to her "why are you crying?"

"Happy said..." she sniffled, rubbing her nose

"Who cares what he said? you know how he is, that's how we all are. family does that to you, Luce" he grinned "I thought you'd know that by now"

"Natsu..." she smiled. he wiped her tears away

"How you feeling?" She took a deep breath and fixed her posture

"A lot better, thank you" he looked at her dress on the bed

"Mom would wear dresses like that all the time? And cry easily?" She looked at the dress and blushed

"What's this about my mother?" he stood up and handed her her blanket so she can feel comfortable "thank you"

"That monster we fought last week had a hidden power" he started "that's what knock you out" she looked at the floor

"I-I see..."

"The hidden power was to change someone personality by dreaming of someone while they slept. did you dream of your mother?" She looked at her hands and nodded

"Actually... I did.."

"Would you cry as easy as you did awhile ago?" She rubbed her arm awkwardly

"When my mother was my age she told me she would cry so easily because of certain things. she didn't like the rich life... so she would cry about anything... She became better years later..." she looked at Natsu "I believe the age process is different than the actual person I guess I took the personality when she was my age?" He pet her head

"But you're still Lucy" she frowned

"Am i..?" He grinned

"Duh!"

"How do I... go back to normal?" he found and looked down "Natsu..?"

"Levy and Erza did some research the only way is to beat you in a fight" she cupped her mouth

"Fight!? But... fighting is bad!" He smiled and let her head

"I'm not going to fight you, Luce. there has to be another way" she looked up at her window, at the sunset

"My personality came from a dream... a dream is active when sleeping and you wake from something of disturbance..." she started thinking "if the personality is from a dream... could I be..." she looked at him surprised "asleep?" He raised his brows surprised

"I get it! fighting is a disturbance. maybe those records are old and they didn't think of anything else! so we need to find a way to wake you up!" He punched her arm normally

"Ow!" He tugged on her hair "don't do that!" She blushed

"Well, i'm out of ideas- oh! want to fall off a cliff and into a lake?"

"Absolutely not!" He sighed

"There's no other way without hurting you" Loke came from thin air "Loke?"

"I have an idea!" He whispered in Natsu's ear

"Why would I do that?" Loke whispered again. Lucy looked at them confused "huh? How's that going to wake her?"

"Trust me" Loke winked and disappeared

"What he say?" Lucy asked, them found Natsu lay on his hands on the bed so their faces could be closer together "N-Natsu!" She blushed "what are you-"

"Stay still" he said softly and held her cheek. she shut her eyes as he leaned forward and pressed his hot lips on hers. her eyes widened in realization. Natsu had his eyes closed. Disturbance... a kiss to waken the one who's asleep...

He pulled away and stared at her red face "did that work?" He asked. she clinched her jaw and slapped him away

"That damn lion! he would be the one to give you that idea!" she put her hands in fist "when I'm done with him-"

"You're back!" He smiled. she looked down at her hands

"Y-yeah..." he cheered and leaned towards her again "what are you doing!?"

"Kissing you! I don't know why, but I liked it! can I kiss you again?" Her face went red again, and looked away

"Are you nuts?" He pouted at the corner, purple haze surrounding him. she sighed and opened her arms "fine... just one" he jumped up happily, leaned on his hands again, and leaned in to kiss her. she stared at his relaxed closed eyes

"I'm glad you're back" he smiled. she looked down shyly

"Yeah... it's good to be me" he grinned

"Just the way I like it!" She rolled her eyes and smiled

"Thanks for helping me out"

"What are friends for-?" He slipped forward and landed on top of her

*squeeze

"Ahh!! Don't touch there!"

*slap

"Yeah..." Natsu held his red cheek "good to have you back Luce" she smiled and kicked him out her house
