I wish I knew,how to quit you

Karen's POV

As soon as I enter the library , my heart was in full drive. Quietly walking I saw several book shelf holding lots and lots of books. Wanting their secrets to be revealed .

I took out the book from literature section . Literature always fascinates me. It takes me to places that can only exists in my dreamworld.

I took out the book and went to a near by seat beside the window. As I started reading the literature I hear some noises .

I look for the source of the noises. Maybe i am just imaging things. Brushing that thought aside I started reading my book only to be stopped by a loud moan

Wait! What? Is someone hurt ?

Was the thought that crossed my mind. I stood up from my desk and searched behind different bookshelf.
But the last row caught my eye.

Okay, that wasn't what I was expecting!! Dang it!!

Ignoring the fact that I saw a couple kissing, I was just about to go back to my desk but suddenly a voice caught my ears

"Damn!Kristian that feels so right baby" that girl moaned.
 
"Holy molly, what's the actual fuck !!!" 

"I know love" he whispered .

I turned my face to where they both were standing. And then the big bomb dropped on me.

There he was standing with that girl. Kissing her endlessly.

So, that's the reason he came in this library. That's so low. But why am I feeling like I have been stabbed. That something is piercing my heart into two.

"What the hell is wrong with me? He is not my boyfriend that I am getting so jealous, but then why am I feeling so sad and depressed by seeing them"?

As I traced my steps back,accidentally my back hits the bookshelf behind me and some of the books fall off the shelf.

Aren't I just too lucky today?

As I realised this and before I can do anything, both of them looked at me.

Just so freaking great.

I started picking the book one by one. As I was collecting the books, I saw someone approaching the place I was currently in.

I am so freaking dead.

I dared not to make an eye contact with the person. I finished collecting the books, and as I struggled to stand up with a pile of books, that person offered me their hand.

I looked towards the source and find him standing with a hand stretched towards me.

Why did you came ? Can't you just mind your own business?

"May I help you" he said.

"Umm , I am fine, I can manage" I said.

Go away please!

But instead of minding his own business, he took most of the books from me and started placing it in the shelf.

I looked back to that place where he was with his girlfriend only to find that his girlfriend has already left the library.

Then why is he here ?

I stood up from my place and kept the books that was left on the ground. While placing the last book I looked at him only to find him looking at me already.

Why are you looking at me  like that?

But this time I tried not to get lost in his eyes.

"Thank you " I said.

"Don't mention it" he whispered.

And just like that he walked away.

I watched his retreating steps.

I shake my head and collect the books I need to issue for my literature notes. 
Can thus day get any better ? Watching him kissing her was like a stab to my heart. But we have just met then why am I so possessive over him.

These were the thoughts that pass my mind as I was heading towards the cafeteria.

This day is just getting so weird.
