Ruhana has a banter with Vineet. She comes to know that he is a police officer, yet his behavior the other day has hurt her and she hasn't forgiven him. She thanks him for saving Bulbul and moves away with her. Bulbul looks at Ruhana.

"Di, aapko hua kya hai? I mean aapne ACP uncle pe gussa kyun kiya? Unhone toh meri jaan bachayi na. " she asks.

"Ehsaan nahi kiya unhone.. Aur vaise bhi jis insan ko kisi ladki ki izzat karna nahi aata, usse aur kya expect kia ja sakta hai." Ruhana says.

"Jaane do na, Di. Unhone sorry bola na aapse." Bulbul says eyeing her.

"Bulbul, tu mujhe mat samjha. Mujhe pata hai main kya kar rahi hoon." Ruhana says.

For Ruhana, Vineet has hurt her self respect. He could have listened to her, she won't have hated him, then. But he didn't, he even gave her money, and that's what hurt her the most. It's hurting more, because of her past. When she tries to forget it, it comes up in front of her, in one way or the other. Her trance is broken when bulbul holds her hands. She looks at the girl.

"Acha ab gussa chodo na. Smile please!" Bulbul says cutely and Ruhana can't help but smile.

Meanwhile, Asha Ma comes there and asks Bulbul to get into the bus. Bulbul hugs Ruhana while the latter kisses her head and runs towards the bus. Asha Ma turns to Ruhana, asking her, if she is fine to which Ruhana nods affirmatively. Asha Ma asks her to take care and leaves. Ruhana stands waiting for her driver, but he seems to be late. Vinay spots her standing, and walks towards her.

"Hey Ruhana, you still here!" he asks.

"Yeah! Waiting for my driver. Maine unse kaha tha pehle hi aa jaye, par shayad wo late ho gaye hai." Ruhana says.

"Yeah, aur fir ye mumbai ka traffic, you know it. Waqt pe hoke bhi aap late ho sakte hain." vinay smiles at her.

Ruhana smiles at him and Vinay asks her to drop her home, to which she denies first.

"No! That's alright, Vinay ji.. Main chali jaungi." she says.

"Come on Ruhana! Ab toh hum dost hai na. You can trust me. Waise bhi is waqt yahan taxi milna mushkil hai. I'll drop you." Vinay says, while Ruhana's hesitant but finally agrees.

Vinay smiles and opens the car door for her and then they move towards her home. The journey to her home is silent and so Vinay decides to break the silence.

" You okay Ruhana ji? " he asks.

" Yeah!" she replies briefly but she's lost in her own thoughts.

"Are you really okay?" Vinay asks again and Ruhana looks at him, at which he smiles lightly.

"I mean aaj vo us gang vale incident k baad I thought aap shayad disturbed hongi. I mean vo bache aapko bahut pyare hain na aur fir Bulbul... She' like your little sister.. Am i right? Thanks to ACP Vineet, he just came on time varna vo badmash us bachi ko nuksan pahuncha sakta tha... Thanks to the Energetic cop! " he says.

" Yeah! Though mujhe laga nahi tha ki vo ek cop hai." Ruhana says, anger still audible in her voice.

"Ruhana, I know  aap dono ke beech misunderstanding ho gayi hogi par ab bhul jaiye. The officer seeked forgiveness. Ab dekhiye na, unhone hi toh bulbul ko bachaya bhi.. Bhul jaiye, wo ek nekdil insan hai. " Vinay says praising Vineet.

"Oh please, Vinay ji! Band kijiye us insaan ki tareef karna. Main nahi bhul sakti wo meeting. Us insaan ne meri self respect ko thes pahunchayi hai. I'll not forgive him. " Ruhana shouts at vinay as she's irritated with him taking Vineet's name.

Vinay is shocked, he looks at Ruhana, who's lost in thoughts.

" Kahin ye Vineet vahi toh nahi! Lekin aisa kaise ho sakta hai. Main usey pehchanne mein kabhi bhul nai kar sakti... Ek pal k liye main khud ko pehchanne mein galti kar skti hoon lekin usey kaise bhul sakti hoon ! Aur fir agar vo vahi hota toh vo mujhe pehchan leta... nai... vo mera Vineet ni ho skta…" 

Her trance is broken by Vinay, and she realises that she shouted at him.

"I… I Am sorry, Vinay ji!  I didn't mean to hurt you.

"No! It's fine, Ruhanaji. It seems like ki us din ka wo incident aur aaj ke incident ne aapko kafi affect kia hai.

Ruhana downs her head in guilt. She feels bad that she shouted on Vinay and he's being so kind and generous towards her.She just nods her head in affirmation.

"That's all right Ruhana ji... hota hai jab aapko kisi ki chinta ho toh dil aur dimag pareshan hota hai. Aurr fir vo hamara koi apna ho toh aisa reaction toh expected hai... so chill you don't need to feel guilty." He says trying to ease Ruhana, who mouths an apology to him.

Meanwhile they reach her home. Ruhana invites Vinay inside, but he denies and leaves for his home. She still disturbed. AbhiRika ask her about the picnic and she tells everything about the incident that took place a few hours ago. They too get worried for Bulbul but are relieved to hear that all kids are back at orphanage safely as Abhijeet talks to Asha maa on call

Vineet is driving back home and thinking about the incident. He's thinking about Ruhana, who has yelled at him twice.

" Vo ladki Ruhana... ye naam ! Pta nahi kyu bahut jana pehchana hai. Kya main kabhi ussey pehle kabhi mila hu! Par aisa toh nahi lagta, infact main toh pehli bar ussey us cafe mein mila tha... par ye naam! Bahut jana pehchana hai... Par main toh aaj dusri baar mila hoon usse aur aaj pehli bar ye naam suna... Kyun ye nam mere dilon dimag mein khalbali macha rha hai.. aur jahan tak mujhe yaad hai main pehle kabhi is naam ki kisi ladki se nahi mila."

Her name is causing a big clash of his thoughts.. He is pretty sure that he has heard that name and met that girl just now and never before. Her serene face is flashing in front of his eyes, her innocence... when he misunderstood her at that cafe. Her beautiful eyes holding some deep pain, the way she was worried about Bulbul and asking her if she was okay!. he smiles holding unrevealed pain. He is lost in her thoughts for a long time. He comes out of his trance when his cellphone buzzes He  brushes off his thoughts and picks the call and then gets busy in his work.

Days are passing and Makhija is still on the loose. ACP Vineet is trying his best to get a clue about him and catch him.

Vinay is proving himself more and more eligible for being Ruhana's life partner and by now they have become good friends and have decided to take more time to know each other before the big decision of "Marriage" .

On the other hand, Bulbul is the only witness of Makhija and his gang's crime, their illegal deeds but a murder as well, as Makhija killed one of his man who was police's informer. Acp Vineet wants her to Give her testimony about the event in the court, to which she is ready, but Asha maa is not permitting her to do so, on account of her safety. Police triee their best to convince Asha maa. but she denies it everytime.

Once ruhana comes to meet  the Kids and that day Asha maa is out for some hours. ACP Vineet himself comes to convince Asha maa but she is not there. He finds Ruhana there.

" Dekhiye, Ruhanaji, Bulbul ka gawahi dena bahut zaruri hai.. Isse hum Makhija ko pakad sakenge aur saza dila sakenge." he says.

"Aur uski security? Kya guarantee hai ki Bulbul safe rahegi?". Ruhana counter questions.

"Wo police group ke sath rahegi. Aapko hum par bharosa karna hoga." Vineet says in order to convince Ruhana.

"Dekhiye, aap par toh mujhe vishwas nahi hai. Aur rahi baat gawahi ki, toh aapko assure karna hoga ki meri gudiya safe rahegi." Ruhana snaps at him.

"I'll try my best, bas aap logon ki permission chahiye." Vineet sighs.

Ruhana didn't allow for the same but he tries to convince her. Meanwhile, his phone rings and he has to leave. Asha maa arrives back, when Ruhana tells about Vineet's arrival, she is again adamant for not presenting Bulbul as witness in court.

Meanwhile, amidst all the chaos, ACP Vineet is tied in a sweet bond of trust with Bulbul and with no time he became her "ACP uncle" from "ACP sir".

Ruhana too admires  this bond, though she hasn't forgiven Vineet. She's still in dilemma about Vineet. Also, ACP Vineet has put his two men as undercover officers, who now work in the orphanage, one as Orphanage staff and other as a cook for the girl's safety.

One fine day, everything seems calm, but there's something going on in the Orphanage. Ruhana has a talk on call with Bulbul after which she instructs Bulbul to sleep early. After talking to Bulbul, Ruhana feels better and then dozes off after a tiring day.

But, during midnight, she wakes up with a jerk and shouts Bulbul' name. Her parents ask her the matter, at which she says that Bulbul is in trouble, she can feel it.

Is it really true? What's going on?
