Thousand stabs wouldn’t hurt him as much as he was hurt by those words. Nothing could pierce through his heart; except for those words he just heard. Why was it always him? Him to suffer?

“Shut up, you Monster!” he faintly heard Yoon Min yelling beside him.

Ozul chuckled seeing their reactions, “Fools. All of you are fools. Fools who care for petty things.”

Yoon Min was equally shocked like Seokjin. But as long as it wasn’t her, the shock didn’t strike her that much. She just couldn’t believe it. One thing she knew that guardians don't know their pasts. Then how come only he knew his? On a second thought, she guessed Ozul Vex must be lying or joking but the expression on Seokjin's face made her realize the truth.

She stood helplessly beside him whose confidence and courage both drowned into sorrow and pain. He was silent like a rock.

“But you know what? I have wasted enough time chit-chatting with both of you. Now is the time for action.”

Before they could see what was coming, Ozul swished his two fingers and both Seok Jin and Yoon Min were thrown against a wall by an invisible force. They were being strangled by that same force which they were unable to see.

The demon laughed mercilessly at their helplessness and spoke many high words about how he'll destroy the universe.

Being choked to death wasn’t something anyone feels every day. So Yoon Min couldn’t prepare for anything at all. She couldn’t even touch the force that was strangling both of them in the cruelest way. Tears rolled down her face in pain as stutters and gasps were only coming out of her mouth. More importantly, she was more affected by her senior's best try to free himself. Even being close to final death, he wasn’t giving up. He was speaking many spells; actually mumbling them. Which were even working a bit. He was getting less pain than her.

She never thought she would have to die like this. It would be so humiliating to die in her enemy's hands.

That's when the doors which were shut suddenly burst open, lights came inside making the darkness go away.

In a minute, Seok Jin and Yoon Min were dropped to the floor as if someone destroyed that force.

Ozul Vex wasn’t a bit surprised. His lips curved into a smirk, looking at the precious guardian standing before him with no fear.

“Well who won't it be than Han Aereum; Princess of Love Universe here to defeat the unbeatable Ozul Vex?” he laughed spitefully.

Seokjin took the time to check on his junior who was almost on the verge to die. Looking at her, he asked gasping for air, “You alright, Yoon Min?”

Fortunately, she nodded having the same condition as him.

While Ozul was mocking her continuously, Aereum made short eye-contact with the other two guardians, telling them everything will be alright. She directly faced the demon and began walking very slowly towards him.

Seokjin noticed she came empty handed. Why? Last thing he remembered, he successfully gave her the wand and ran to save Yoon Min. Why did she come alone? She couldn’t
do anything with the wand.

“T-the wand...where is i-it?” Yoon Min's voice was so weak that it didn’t reach his ears.

As if luck wasn’t on their side, many devils appeared out of nowhere behind Ozul Vex; all grinning sickly. The number of them were less than before, assuring Yoon Min that the others did manage to kill some at least.

Aereum stood a few steps away from Ozul, not a single organ of her body showed fear. Giving the fact he was her lover for years at one time but now he was nothing similar to him. How was she so brave?

There was a moment of silence betweem them until Aereum softly spoke up,

“You win, Ozul. We give up.”

Seokjin's eyes widened in confusion as well as Yoon Min's. What?

“Princess Aereum!” Yoon Min shouted at her, thinking maybe she wasn’t in her right mind now.

But she continued, “I sent three guardians on a suicide mission to bring a magical wand to destroy you. But unfortunately, they returned with nothing.”

Seoknin raised his eyebrows. What was she talking about? Yoon Min tilted her neck in suspicion as she glanced at her senior for an explanation.

Why was she lying?

Ozul seemed to take her words gladly well as his thin lips parted to chuckle again.

“So? Do you want to surrender completely?”

Aereum bit her lips in guilt before nodding.

This made Ozul feel the greatest victory ever. He laughed and turned around to face his servants. They were shouting his name in union as if he is the best king of all. “See my fellows? They gave up. I, Ozul Vex won at last!”

The devils were cheering for their master, almost they looked like his fans. Their ugly voices filled the hallroom as they kept shouting his name in victory.

That's when, Ozul did a very big mistake.

He turned his back at Aereum. Which gave her the opportunity to carry out her plan as she suddenly yelled at someone,

“NOW!”

Jimin appeared out of nowhere and threw the wand to her with all his force.

Aereum took it in a second and yelling an unknow spell, she struck the floor with the bottom of her wand with her all might. The wand struck a powerful magic and as if it contained poison; the power wiped out each and every devil in a flash.

Only Ozul Vex was standing alone.

“Did you just trick me?” He asked, his voice turning serious.

Aereum showed the wand and said, “I know you for a long time. I absolutely can trick you.”

Hearing her mock, Ozul Vex twisted into a mask of anger as he broke out in horrible rage and malicious intent. Within two seconds, there raised a high collision of two powers. One was being launched by Ozul; his powerful black magic coming from his hands and the other was coming from the magical wand Aereum was hurling towards him. Both their powers were so strong and dynamic that none's power was able to defeat the other.

The whole hall room was filled with the brightest light as the strongest powers on the universe were fighting with each other. Jimin ran towards the other two guardians who could've came out of the castle long time ago but stayed inside to watch the drama.

“Guys, we need to leave! Come on!”

Jimin took hold of Seokjin's arm and dragged him with himself. But Yoon Min wanted to stay. She just couldn't leave Aereum all alone fighting with him.

But even in the midst of fighting, Aereum loudly yelled, “Get Out Of Here, All Of You! NOW!”

Yoon Min realized there's nothing she could do by staying here. This fight was between Princess Aereum and Ozul Vex. Moreover, it was getting dangerous inside the hallroom as the clash of the two powers were spreading everywhere inch by inch. So all three of them escaped from the castle, leaving the Princess alone to fight the person who hurt her uncountable times.

“Oh my God, Yoon Min, are you okay?” Beomgyu ran to her as soon as he saw her and hugged her tightly.

All guardians, fairies and employees took shelter in the nearby forest after the professors casted enchantments around it to keep them safe. The castle wasn’t that far though.

“Yeah, I am.” she said in response.

He then began observing each part of her face and body to check if she was hurt actually. There were bruises of course. “I was so scared.” he held her tight.

“Beomgyu, I am fine. We need to do something about the Princess.” she let go of him and looked at him for an answer.

He glanced at the castle for some time, thinking deeply.

“She is fighting the greatest villain of all time. Are we just supposed to leave her there alone?” Taehyung joined them since he found their conversation interesting.

Yoon Min replied, “I didn’t want to leave but it was getting unbearable to stay there. The devils got killed by the way.”

“Good. At least we did one thing successfully.” Taehyung chirped in joy.

“Basically, you didn’t do anything. It was me and Guardian Jungkook who led the devils away from everyone and ran like horses everywhere.” Beomgyu looked proud while speaking.

Taehyung replied a scoff, nothing else.

Suddenly, the noises and sounds that were coming from inside the castle stopped. The whole universe turned deadly silent.

Everyone kept their gazes locked at the castle, breathing steadily.

All on a sudden, the highest window of the castle broke loudly and a black-grayish shape of smoke caught everyone's attention.

“Look!” one of the fairies pointed at it.

The smoke was trying to get out but it was failing. It looked dangerously scary, shapeless and horrifying.

“That's Ozul Vex." Yoon Min spoke as she was the only one who saw him in that disguise before.

The black-grayish smoke got out of the castle and suddenly vanished into thin air, leaving everyone's eye sight in a second.

“Did he die?” Koushi asked to no one specifically.

Theoretically, if he was trying to get out of the castle then he must've lost power or grew weak. And vanishing into thin air means he left the universe for good.

“I think so?” Nam Joon replied though he wasn’t fully sure.

It felt like the universe got rid of a piece of trash as the trees were returning their colors again. The wind started to blow again and the clouds began appearing in the sky. Stars were twinkling and shooting stars ran in the magical sky. The beauty was returning to Love Universe.

Ozul Vex was defeated finally.

Seokjin wasted no time as he ran again towards the castle despite being weak and hurt. He had to see if Aereum was alright or not. Seeing him running, the other senior guardians also ran after him. The remaining guardians and fairies took time to go to the castle as everyone was scared at least a little.

Seokjin pushed the doors open and gasped in surprise.

Princess Aereum was standing with the wand in her hand. Her face gained a few scars and there were stains of blood as well on her dress. She smiled slightly seeing him.

“Princess Aereum!” He exclaimed in joy, seeing her healthy.

The others also arrived at the gate and released a sigh of relief. Their Princess was alright. Nothing happened to her.

“He is gone.” Aereum looked the happiest while saying it. She successfully fought against Ozul Vex and won over him.

All guardians, fairies and employees broke out in cheers and applaudes. All of them were relieved, happy and proud of themselves as well as their Princess. They worked together wisely and came to this point of victory. Fairies began sprinkling their tiny sparkles of magic all over the hall room, making it beautiful to enjoy the moment. All residents were smiling and hugging each other in so much joy. As if they were never as happy as this before. They won a great battle of course.

Relief and triumph flooded her veins as she walked among the crowds and stood beside Seokjin along with Beomgyu. Aereum also walked to them, smiling widely. Yoon Min couldn’t contain the happiness inside her. Seeing the universe returning to its original state, her mind filled with joy and pride. This is Love Universe. Happiness and Beauty live here.

Seeing the four heroes together, the residents clapped for them even louder; the sound of their claps and proudful whistles rang through everyone's ears. They saved them. They saved the universe.

“Blimey, Princess Aereum, how on earth did you manage to defeat Ozul?” Seokjin being the disrespective asked.

Aereum replied then, “Actually, I could've killed him. In fact, I was almost on the verge to destroy him but my hands dropped the wand at the last moment.”

He scoffed at her, “You should admit you are quite stupid.”

Aereum widened her eyes and denied, “No, really. I think something attacked me from behind which caused me to drop it. Otherwise, I could've killed him.”

“You and your imaginations.”

It always surprised Yoon Min how Seokjin always talked so casually with the Princess. Well, surprise wasn’t the right word. More like, burning a bit inside.

When the residents finally calmed down, Aereum made an important announcement,

“My dear residents, finally, after years, we defeated the Greated Evil Force of the universe. It is not me who did it. It was all of you. All of you acted rightfully at the right time. So I want to thank all of you for your bravery and for keeping your trust and hope.”

Everyone smiled widely and felt great to be praised.

“And to honor the three guardians without whom we might not had done anything, they will be rewarded for their brave actions and clever thoughts. They stuck together till the end and kept their bond strong and trusted each other. Senior Guardian Seok Jin, Guardian Beomgyu and Guardian Yoon Min risked their lives and almost got themselves killed during many points but their honest minds and strong personality helped them to survive. Today, we stand here free because of them.”

The residents again applauded for those three, each of them had proud smile for them.

“In return of working hard, I grant all three of them a chance to get one wish fulfilled.” Aereum said with a smile.

Beomgyu widened his eyes in surprise as his jaw dropped. He exclaimed in happiness as he kept repeating the same words to Yoon Min. He can get a wish come true! Yoon Min also smiled since she thought it was a great gift.

But suddenly, Guardian Koushi stepped in front of the crowd and asked the Princess with a bit of swag,

“Princess Aereum, shouldn’t we hold a party for them? After all, they deserve to be treated well.” she was wearing imaginary sunglasses.

The residents nodded along with her.

“Well, you aren't wrong about this, Guardian Koushi. Alright then. We will be holding a grand party to honor our three brave guardians. And everyone is invited!”

The castle filled with the loudest cheers and claps. As if a nightmare had finally ended and now only sweet dreams will be seen and felt. Everything will work out as long as you believe in yourself and believe that there is a rainbow after every storm. Happiness lies ahead...
