Y/N
My laughter echoed through the shop, my amusement palpable as I clutched my stomach. Thank god that I was still standing and not rolling on the streets laughing like a madwoman.
Now this is a great view for me for the first time I am seeing him The KIM FUCKING TAEHYUNG, clad in the ridiculous teddy bear costume, I couldn't help but grin and laugh at how fast he went from a Jerk to a Teddy bear, really LMAO.
"Shut up before I change my mind," he teased, his voice muffled by the fluffy headpiece. I knew he was pissed off due to my continuous laughter but who would not laugh at him. But quickly wiping away the single drop of tear that was flowing down my eyes.
I looked at him with a mixture of confusion and curiosity. "Change your mind about what?"
Taehyung shrugged playfully. "About helping you out. You seem to be enjoying my company more than you'd like to admit."
You are, aren't you?? I heard a voice in my head ask.
Making a face, unsure of how to respond to his unexpected offer of assistance. Unknowingly heart raced inexplicably at his words, but I being me quickly pushed the sensation aside, opting to look away and reply, "There's no need for you to help. I can manage just fine on my own."
Are you sure? Again the same voice.
Taehyung, however, was not deterred by my dismissal. Ignoring my protest, he dove into work alongside me, not to be sure but our banter and cooperation making the tasks fly by faster than usual.
I was internally happy that the work would get over soon and I could have some time for myself after reaching my home early before my other shift. But there was something in me that I couldn't resist and kept stealing glances at Taehyung, noticing his dedication and the subtle hints of a more caring side beneath his usual bravado.
Is he for real or this is a publicity stunt planned by his brother and him? I thought.
"No idiot he is helping you, can't you see him, LOOK AT HIM LOOKING ALL CUTE!" Fuck this voices in my head are making me lose my control, and the urge to not look at him.
But I failed miserably and looked at him who stood away from me at a good distance. I looked at him and really I hate to admit how cute he looks in that costume all looking a total fluff and not a jerk.
But what I noticed after looking at him for some good few minute's that he was looking at me all the time, "Shit..." I cursed under my breathe knowing I was caught straight up by him looking at him and calling him cute in my head.
"And you wanted to say it out loud instead right?"
SHUT UP! this voices will really making feel I wanna hide somewhere from him.
Throughout the rest of their shift, Taehyung proved to be surprisingly helpful and cooperative, despite my initial reluctance. Truly, I couldn't deny that there was a certain chemistry between us,- albeit one tinged with our history of animosity.
Finally, as the workday came to an end, I and Taehyung came to the employee room where our clothes were kept, I changed into mine and later opened the door of the room, Taehyung got inside to change, as he entered the room and I was busy keeping my things in my bag back, he took of his furry teddy shirt not facing me and hell for real got a look of his toned back but as I stared more, I could notice some marks, healed ones.
They looked painful did he had an accid-
"Do you want to keep staring at my back?" Taehyung said as his voice bought me back from my thoughts making me turn my face away from his back, but hell he knew I was staring. I rushed out of the room.
After we changed back into our regular clothes. Thanking my boss, I took a deep breath of relief as I stepped outside, the fresh air a welcome change from the stuffiness of the shop. I looked at Taehyung who was engrossed in a phone call,
"Sì, chiederò a mio fratello di occuparsi dell'affare, arriverà la settimana stessa, grazie." I don't even know what language is he talking but by the accent I feel it's Italian. God knows.
[Translation: Yes, I will ask my brother to take care of the matter, he will arrive the same week, thanks.]
I sighed and planting an hand in my bag again I took out the remaining protein bar, this is my favorite. I munched it in small bites.
"In questo momento sono con la mia ragazza." He said something to the person and ended the call but as he finished, he turned to me with an unexpected offer.
[Right now I'm with my girlfriend.]
"Need a ride home?" he asked casually. As he put his phone back in his pocket. I miss my phone, and for real I am saving money for buying a new one.
The shock and slight fear flickered across my face before I quickly masked it. I couldn't possibly take him to my messy apartment, especially with Mr. Min my grumpy landlord likely to scold me again. "Um, no, it's okay. I'll just walk," I stammered, attempting to decline politely.
Taehyung chuckled, seeing through my facade. "Come on, I know your house is far from here. Plus, I saw you taking the bus this morning so that say's your bike isn't repaired yet."
It's was broken in first place by you, KIM JERK!
My cheeks flushed with embarrassment at being caught in a lie. I grumbled under my breath, realizing do I have any other option, as I looked around knowing it was time for sunset and it was unbelievable that he helped me almost the whole day, and being left with no choice but to accept his offer.
With a scoff, I retorted, "Fine, but don't get any ideas. You're still a jerk in my book."
Taehyung grinned, opening the door to his luxurious BMW. "Sure thing, my Miss Bold."
Isn't he a gentleman with a face of devilish beauty?
He is- WAIT WHAT!
I rolled my eyes but this was something I couldn't deny about the thrill of excitement as I was feeling after, stepping into the expensive car, my first time ever sitting in such luxury.

Authors POV
The soft hum of the engine filled the car as Taehyung navigated through the busy streets, the cityscape gradually shifting as they left the shop behind. Y/n couldn't help but be captivated by the view outside the window. The sun was descending in the sky, casting a warm golden glow that painted the clouds in hues of pink and yellow, creating a breathtaking canvas above.
"Wow," Y/n breathed, her gaze fixed on the stunning sunset. "It's so pretty."
Taehyung glanced over at her, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, it is."
They drove in companionable silence for a while, the peacefulness of the moment contrasting with the bustling city around them. Y/n felt a sense of calm wash over her, the beauty of the sunset momentarily pushing aside any lingering tension or uncertainty.
As they continued on their journey, Y/n found herself stealing glances at Taehyung, taking in his profile as he focused on the road. She couldn't help but notice how different he seemed in this moment, his usual cocky demeanor replaced by a quiet contemplation that intrigued her.
The car rolled to a stop at a traffic light, and Y/n turned to Taehyung, a question on her lips. "Do you always drive like this? I mean, in such a calm manner?"
Taehyung chuckled, glancing at her before returning his attention to the road as the light turned green. "Only when I'm not in a rush or trying to impress someone."
Y/n raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming on her lips. "Impress someone? Who could that be?"
Taehyung shrugged nonchalantly. "Oh, you know, just someone who catches my attention."
Y/n couldn't help but feel a flutter of curiosity at his words, wondering if he still meant about Ji-eun but that was not possible cause all this mess he night hate her she thought and felt bad, but she quickly pushed the thought aside, focusing instead on the serene beauty of the evening sky.
Sensing the need to fill the silence, Y/n suggested, "How about some music?"
Y/N POV
He hummed in response to me and turning on the radio, The soft melody of "There's Nothing Holdin' me Back" by Shawn Mendes filled the car, and for a brief moment, our eyes met on a particular line of the song that made the time freeze and the background fade both feeling a strange mix of emotions stirring within them.
Pulls me in enough to keep me guessing, mmm
And maybe I should stop and start confessing
Confessing, yeah
Oh, I've been shaking
I love it when you go crazy
You take all my inhibitions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
We quickly looked away, I was sure both feeling a surge of emotions flowing thought their minds that made up to it's way to their faces that had gotten red by now. There was something about these lines something that was giving me a touch some unwanted signs.
As we approached my neighborhood, Taehyung slowed the car to a stop in front of my apartment building. making me sigh in relief, knowing that this embarrassing journey had come to an end.
"Thanks for the ride," I said unbuckling the seatbelt, turning my face to Taehyung with a genuine smile.
Just as I turned to head inside, my thoughts interrupted by the sound of him calling out my name. "Y/n!"
I glanced back to see Taehyung in his BMW , He rolled down the window, his expression unreadable in the dim evening light.
"Aren't you going to invite your fake boyfriend inside?" he teased lightly.
Is he for real?
"You know what you are impossible." I breathe out but suddenly my eyes noticed the weight of unwanted attention from curious onlookers who had recognized Taehyung and his fancy car. What else I would had expected rather than gaining such stares, which I didn't wanted.
Ever since the news of me and Taehyung being an couple, fake couple. Spread like a wild fire the neighborhood people look at me as if I am an alien some say I am an slut, gold digger something and all. But honestly I don't care. I am trying to help my best friend out and save the money I get from it. For the twins.
"Fine, come please." I spoke through my gritted teeth, and he just passed me his so called innocent smile.
He parked his car,
"FANCY CAR DEAR, WHICH YOU LOVED TAKING A RIDE IN!"
Okay, his fancy car and he carefully crossed the road and following me inside like a lost puppy, we reached the door of my apartment.
I thought he would be disgusted by seeing the size of my apartment cause this was nothing compared to what he lives me a whole ass mansion, but to my surprise he didn't say anything but I felt something fishy with him.
And I was right about him being fishy.
Once a jerk, always a jerk!!!
Once inside, Taehyung seemed to take on his bossy demeanor, ordering me around as if he owned the place. This is my house, KIM JERK! How badly I wanted to scream this, I would had only If the people people living besides me were deaf.
He settled on the couch as if he owned it, ordering me to make an hot cup of coffee for him around like I am his personal assistant.
Annoyed but not wanting to cause a scene, I begrudgingly brought him his coffee. His smirk only added to her irritation, and she couldn't help but threaten him playfully, "If you weren't a guest, I would have spilled this hot coffee on you."
"Oh, yeah?"
Taehyung chuckled, taking a sip of his coffee before asking a question that caught me off guard. "Why don't you live with the twins?"
My expression softened as memories of Ren and Jia flooded my mind. "I can't afford to take care of three people, and my landlord isn't exactly kid-friendly," why I don't know but I explained, a hint of sadness in my voice.
Surprisingly, Taehyung listened intently, his usual cocky demeanor replaced by genuine interest. We talked for a while longer, I didn't knew but sharing a few snippets of my life and experiences, with him brought me a unknown comfort, even if he was still technically my "enemy."
As the evening progressed, the realization hit me that it was getting Taehyung shouldn't be lingering in my house anymore, and if Mr. Min sees him he will surely think of us as something else. I gently pushed Taehyung towards the door, a mix of reluctance and relief in my actions.
"But I didn't even finish the coffee?" He protested, making me groan in frustration.
"HERE TAKE THIS FUCKING MUG ALSO WITH YOU, HAPPY?" I placed the mug in his hand and let out as he still stood in my door frame, with an teasing smile.
"I don't want to go to my home." He whined like a 5 year old, is he even 26? I started wondering.
"Then go to your orphan center." I tried to close the door but his hand held it and he annoyed me again with his QnA thing.
"Miss Bold, hey, When can I visit again?" Taehyung asked with a playful glint in his eyes.
I couldn't help feel anger, frustrated and even now feeling said punch his face but I decided to joke back, "When you buy this fucking building."
