Ananya's POV
I woke up with the biggest smile on my face. This saturday morning felt even brighter. But how did i get in my bed and in my night dress? Oh..i didn't even remember anything after i got in to the car with Alex..
"Alex!"
I should give him a call. What did happen?

"Ananya..Ananya!! You up yet? Come down dear I have made your favourite pan cakes."
I heard Mom call. I quickly got up throwing my phone in the bed and got fresh. I took a shower as fast as i could and put on my PJs. It was saturday and I was in no mood to go out anywhere unless the sky falls down.

"Good morning Mom.." i kissed her cheeks and she brushed her hands in my hair. Pulling my hair up in a bun i breathed through the aroma of banana pan cakes and my mouth started watering.

" wow!! I love you so much.. i am going to eat them all." And i grabbed a bite.

" did you eat mom?" I questioned still focussing on my plate as if the food is going to run away.

" yes sweetheart. I did. How was the party last night? I could see you thoroughly enjoyed yourself." She giggled.

She was holding a cup of coffee when she started giving me those inquisitive stares. " care to tell me? Or my daughter is going to start keeping secrets?"

I blushed and gave her a meek smile. How does she come to know when i have something to share?
" ok. So he was also there in the party. You know..Him.!" I couldn't stop smiling.

" who was there? Mr. Mason ?" She said teasingly.

"No. Mom. you know... Him. Nathan. Now let me speak."
"So i entered the club and he was already there. We almost ..you know..we almost..he held me by my waist and pulled me close enough..and . And"

" and what my dear?" She started laughing. Done with her coffee, she put the cup in the sink and started to walk off to the laundry room.

"You don't want to listen further?" I quickly picked up my plate and followed her.

" i want to listen my dear. But my daughter is too shy to even take his Name. How can she tell me what happened? By the way, where was Alex? "

" don't ask. He just disappeared and then when he finally came he came at the wrong time. But i really had fun last night."

I hugged mom from behind. Though still holding on to my pancakes.

" have you told Alex about these feelings you have for Nathan?"

Her question sunk my heart. Alex was my best friend but I had not shared with him yet. It somehow felt wrong.

Wrong.

"Mom? How did i get into my bed? I don't remember anything and my clothes? How did I? I don't drink and I am blacked out."

" Relax my child. Alex picked you up and took you to your bed. He is a body builder I must say. He did that with so. much ease. And then."

"And my clothes? "

"Alex? No no...i was still up waiting for u. I changed your clothes. Stupid girl. Alex is a good boy. I trust him and even you should."

" i do. I just wanted to know. Oh. I think i should talk to him. I will make a call and join you in the kitchen to make lunch."

I ran up to my bedroom. Got hold of my phone to call Alex. As soon as i opened the phone i saw whatsapp notifications showing on my screen from an unknown number. Curious i opened up.
My jaw dropped, it was Nathan smiling at me from his profile pirture. My heart was pounding.

**Hey beautiful. Good morning!

I just couldn't stop thinking about you all night.

How was your night?

It's me Nathan. Are you still sleeping?

I just wanted to ask you something." ***

My mind began to wonder what my replies should be.
What did he want me to ask about?
I start behaving like a small kid around an ice cream truck, what is happening to me!!?

I replied.

*** "Hey Nathan.

Sorry i replied late.

Was helping Mom in the kitchen.

Actually more like stuffing pancakes in my stomach.

She made breakfast before i was even up so i had to hurry."***

I had so much to talk and I was just blabbering whatever came to my mind.
I was typing something more when he replied back. He was ONLINE! ! Woo hoo!!

" hey beautiful...I like the pancakes too. Specially banana pancakes.
But i think for now what I eagerly want to know is if its just me who had a sleepless night?
Thinking about my dance with the most beautiful girl I ever met."

"I am sorry to say but i slept like a baby.

Who is the lucky girl?"

I wanted to tease him. Every word he sent was making my heart jump a little.

" I couldn't ask her name. But i guess people call her Grace."

Whatt the hell? Why was he talking to me when he likes Grace so much. My previously blushing face was now red with anger.

"I think you should talk to Grace then. You want me to give you her number?"

" Oh someone seems angry. ""

I didn't respond for 5 mins even though i stayed online.

" why will I want to talk to Grace when Grace is the one who helped me with your number.
Alas! last night my Cinderella didn't leave her shoe behind.
She just took a piece of my heart with her."

"You really didn't sleep? All night?
Cinderella feels sorry for that. But the piece of your heart is safe with her."

"Oh her eyes spoke to me last night and I knew the piece of my heart would be safe with her.
I am just worried about the rest of me. Do you think she will take me too?"

I was all smiles and blushing, but before i could reply to Nathan, suddenly someone grabbed my phone from behind. I turned to see Alex making weird faces at me.

" Alex return my phone, you creep. You scared the hell out of me. Couldn't you knock?"

He was dodging me around the bed now.
"And miss this precious expression on your face. Never!!"
He ran downstairs.
" Mom. Please tell Alex to give me my phone."

" Why were you blushing at your phone?? I am here at your place so who were you talking to.?
Come get your phone."

I got tired of chasing him. And I thought of replying to Nathan later when I get my phone back.
So i just showed Alex my tongue and entered the kitchen insted of following him.

" what !! not fair. Come play along. Cheater!! Take your phone. Mrs. Donavan your daughter is a loser, she accepted defeat without even fighting for it."
Alex entered the kitchen frustrated and handed me my phone.

" Thank you. Was that hard?"
I gave him a big smile and hugged him.
And then thanked him for carrying me to my room last night.
Mom was laughing all this time.

"Thanks Alex for taking care of me last night. You carried me to my bed."

"oh yes but i loved changing your clothes more."
I was surprised and i looked at mom who was laughing and Alex was hiding behind her showing me his tongue.
" no you didn't you moron. Mom did."
Now it was my turn to chase him

Alex's POV
After seeing Ananya with Nathan last night I couldn't get any sleep. I did not know if Ananya was feeling anything for Nathan but that guy definitely had a thing for her. The way he looked at her makes me furious. No one can look at my girl that way but me.

So I reached Ananya's early morning and then spent my whole day fooling around with her. We did gardening with Mrs. Donavan during the day and planned to watch a movie at night.

We were seated on the sofa, Ananya rested her head on my shoulder while the movie ran and i just wound my arm around her shoulders.
And then my favourite part of most of our movie nights happened.

She fell asleep in my arms. I just smiled at her angel like face and rested my head on hers closing my eyes.

"I love you Ananya!!" I muttered and fell asleep too.
