Most of the Drows are cunning , mysterious and many times evil creatures that enjoy to create chaos and manipulate their enemies.
But not all of them are evil.
At least not so much as their surface cousins believe that they are.
Some drows left their societies and in rare occasions few of them became true fighters of good and justice.

The females despite their smaller size are higher in the social hierarchy and notorious for their skill in deception and dark arts.

The Matron mothers priestess are the leaders of their society ...until their exile,impisoment or assassination from their strongest daughters when they find a opportunity.

Most of the males are considered inferior ,with few notable exeptions like the driders and used as an assassins or spies in the disputes between the rival drow families or soldiers during the raids.

During the regular raids of the drow armies against the surface elves the main objectives are the possession of the Soul Stones and the capture of at least some female elves .
This elves often used as sacrifices from the priestess of the Great Spider Deity named Loth.

The Soul Stones used as energy and fuel for the dark deities of the drow underworld society.
This deities are responsible for the corruption of their nature and eight of the nine dominant drow  families worship them.

But one ruling families ,the Greyscales doesn't accept  any religion or old tradition and tries to lead the drows in war against the surface kindoms.
They believe that they must abandon their old ways of life and find space for a new home in the surface.
