Third P.O.V.

As the ferry was continuing its way towards the island all of the elemental master, Garmadon, and [Y/n] majority were staring at it in awe. " Look at that. Awesome." Kai said in awe at the island "Let me see." Karlof said pushing Kai, which made him angry. "Do you mind?" Kai said annoyed, making him and Karlof  get into a attack stance, but stopped when the ferry docked at the entrance of the fortress with hooded men doing martial arts techniques. "Welcome to Chen's Island. The Tournament of Elements welcomes its brave fighters." Clouse said gesturing towards the fortress in front of him, while getting off the ferry Master Chen will be pleased you've returned, Sensei Garmadon." Clouse glared at the said man. "This pleasure is all mine, Clouse." Garmadon said glaring at the dark sorcerer "I'm sure it is." Clouse said sarcastically, turning away from him, as the rest of them got off the ferry.

Jay then went up to Garmadon along with the other ninja and [Y/n] "Definitely feeling some tension between you two." Jay said to him. "Yeah, and how is it we're on an island I've never seen any map?" Kai asked confused "And care to explain how the face to Ninjago's most popular noodle house is secretly underground fighting tournament?" Cole asked confused also at this. "Master Chen used to be a friend. Now he's a traitor. During the Serpentine Wars, Chen turned against his own kind and sided with the treacherous snakes." [Y/n] said, having the ninja look at her "The battle my father and Uncle Wu fought together in? He was an enemy?" Lloyd asked raising and confused. "He used deception to divide the Elemental Masters. We barely defeated the Serpentine, and in a deal for his surrender, Chen was to never leave this island. Little did we know, he'd begin to build his criminal empire in here." Garmadon explains, walking with the others following him.

"He may have divided our ancestors, but he's not gonna divide us." Lloyd said with determination, while Kai was looking back to see Skylor walking behind them. This made him smile like an idiot and pushed Garmadon and the other ninja stop to let Skylor pass. "Uh... Ladies first." Kai said, which made Skylor frown and move on "Fire will melt her icy heart. Just wait." he said, which made both [Y/n] and Garmadon sigh at the master of fire. "This is a big island. Zane could be anywhere. Keep an eye out." Cole said to the other ninja, as they entered the fortress. "So, this is the house that noodles built. Ha! Always wanted to go to a red carpet event." Jay joked. "Chen lives like a King. Here, he's totally self-sufficient. The only way on or off this island is with his permission, which you have to earn." [Y/n] said making the other ninja confused on how she knows all of this. "You never told me about this place. How do you know so much about this island?" Lloyd asked, trying to brush off what the [E/c] eyed girls explanation "Because before Chen was my enemy, he was my Sensei." Garmadon said, grimacing at the memory and showing the Anacondrai tattoo on his left shoulder.

Lloyd then looked at him shocked at what he just heard out of his father's mouth, as they  entered another room where they all sat down in a half circle. "You never told me you had a Sensei." he said still shocked hearing about this "When I was your age, I sought a darker means of guidance. He taught me to win no matter who I hurt. It wasn't until you saved me that I saw the light." Garmadon said, which made [Y/n] smile knowing that he was saved and went into the light like her. "Uh, apparently he also never taught you to have a sense of humor. Lighten up, we're in an underground fight club. This is supposed to be fun." Jay said trying to lighten the mood "Jay, this isn't the right time to lighten the mood. You just made it worse." [Y/n] said with a forced smile on her face. They all then heard a gong and ceremony music in the background "All rise for Master Chen." Clouse said to them, which they all complied and stand.

While the music was still going, a throne came down with a man with huge purple headdress with bones on it and in a emperor like outfit on. "Welcome to the Tournament of Elements. Now everyone can all die." Chen said with a smirk, which made everyone gasp, but [Y/n] and Garmadon as the door behind them shut closed. "Direct your attention to me." he finished laughing at their alarmed faces "I forgot to mention he has a penchant for theatrics." [Y/n] said to the ninja, while Garmadon nodded. "Hee, hee, hee! Never before have so many Elemental Fighters been under one roof. I see Master of Fire, Earth, Shadow, Speed." Chen said while looking around the room smirking at all of the masters "Even a prophesied Green Savior. And a former pupil has returned. Oooh, not only that, but an old acquaintance came too." he then said staring as Lloyd, Garmadon, and [Y/n]; Lloyd looked confused as [Y/n] and Garmadon glared at him. 

"The symbol before you is for the Anacondrai, fieriest Serpentine warrior to ever roam this land. It's creed: 'Only one can remain.'" Chen said to them, pointing at the symbol on the gong that one of his henchmen was next to. It was then that the gong was rung again to only then reveal a who's fighting who on the board. "Good, looks like we're each in our own bracket. We won't have to face each other for a while." Kai whispered in relief that they don't have to fight each other "Better find Zane before that happens." Lloyd whispered back to him. "Behold a Jade Blade." Chen said motioning towards Clouse who took it out of the chest to show the elemental masters in the room. "Here, it represents life. Obtain it, move on. Allow your opponent to take it... Loser. The rules are simple. Every match will be different. Now two fights will be the same. Your powers will keep you in the tournament. Use it or lose it." he then said with a smug grin on his face while walking around the room to intimidate them.

Then came Karloff who asked "Hm. What does Karloff win?" this made Chen look at him a frown "Win and stay on this island. Win at all, and you'll receive fortunes beyond your wildest dreams, and lifetime supply of Master Chen noodles. But no one is here because of noodle. You want the glory of being greatest fighter in all of Ninjago." he said, making everyone, but the ninja, Garmadon, and [Y/n] cheer. "And what happens if they lose?" [Y/n] asked raising an eyebrow at the man "Lose? Who here likes to lose?" Chen asked, making all of the elemental masters laugh at her. "Now please, enjoy my island. It's a super fun place. Ha, ha, ha. Fun time on me." he said  while laughing "You'll now each be shown to your rooms." Clouse said clapping his hands to have the doors open on his side to show men and women Kabuki heading towards them. While the elemental masters were getting up they each had a Kabuki beside them "Ah, just what this place needs. Creepy clowns." Jay said freaked out by them.

"Not just clowns. Kabuki, Chen's jesters." Garmadon corrected grimly, as the ninja and [Y/n] were grabbed by either by the arm or hand to then be leaded off to their room. "Yeah, well, whatever, they are, I don't like 'em. So much for staying together." Cole said being dragged off away from Garmadon.

[Y/n]'s P.O.V.

"Always be ready. Never loses focus" was the last thing I heard before being dragged off by the Kabuki being assigned to me to lead me to my room "Here's your room Master [Y/n]." he said before closing the door. After he left, I took a good look at my room:

While walking around I saw a picture of me, Osamu, Odasaku, and Ango on the shelf during my dark days with my brother. My [E/c] widen at the picture 'How-How did they get that picture?' I thought hesitantly putting the picture face down, which triggered to have a big flat screen TV come up to show slides of me and my brother from our dark days and when we were a part of the ADA. I was very tempted to destroy the TV, but held back and looked into the closet to see that it had my old clothing and some new clothing for the tournament. It reminded me of what a real ninja would wear, but it seems to look lighter for me to fight in than what I'm wearing so I decided to change into it.

After changing I had a look at myself in the mirror to see what I looked like, I then looked at my long brown hair to then tie it up into a high ponytail to keep it out of my face. "*sigh* Well at least it fits." I mumbled to myself before walking out of my room to the balcony to then see Lloyd out there on his balcony. "Hey." I called out to him catching his attention "Something wrong? You look troubled." I said, which made him glare at me before turning away. "Okay what's wrong? What did I do?" I asked confused "Well besides the fact that you know nearly everything about me, my family, and friends. You're also way stronger than me." Lloyd said still looking away from me. "*sigh* You remind me of my student. The attitude more than the main subject. But anyways, I'm here just like you." I said, having him turn around and look at me curious "I'm here for my only blood relative, my brother. I don't know how Chen was able to capture, but I know one thing for sure." I said narrowing my eyes.

"What's that?" he asked raising an eyebrow and voice wavering in a bit of fear "Chen won't be staying on this island long... But go to jail for kidnapping!" I said in a cheerful voice, which made Lloyd anime fall at what my sudden change of mood. "Why do you do that?" he then asked, which made me look at him confused "Why do you put up a fake cheerful façade?" Lloyd asked me, I was about to answer, but we both heard the ceremony music to then hear. " Fellow fighters, hidden around my island are enough Jade Blades for every participant expect for one. The one who returns to the Palace Arena empty-handed loses. The tournament begins... now." Chen said over the speakers. Me and Lloyd already raced out from the balcony to the hallways where most of the elemental masters were fighting over jade blades.

I knew that  Chen decided to make it easy for me so I looked around my room to find a jade blade under my bed. I was going to head out towards the entrance hall, but saw Lloyd struggling to get a jade blade. Just to have him trust me I canceled the other masters' abilities so that Lloyd could get the jade blade. One by one came a elemental master with a jade blade, till there were only two blades left. "Two Jade Blade remaining." Clouse said to us, till Cole came running in with a jade blade which left one jade blade left. I could already tell that the ninja were losing hope on Kai making it to the next round, since Karloff came in. "Ha, ha, ha! Karloff wins!" he yelled with a grin, that is until Kai came up form behind with a screw driver to loosen off his gauntlet to get the jade blade.

"What?" he said in disbelief, while Kai took the jade blade "Ah, looks like you got a screw loose." Kai said, using his powers to get to the statue to put in his jade blade. This made everyone else cheer, but me and Garmadon at this act "We have a loser!" Chen exclaims. Having us look at Karloff who was putting back on his gauntlet "That's not fair. He cheated." he said pointing at Kai, who had smug look on his face "I did what I had to do." he said. "That is not how you win." Garmadon said shaking his head in disappointment "Fine, I lose. Karloff never wanted to be on stinking island." he complained to him. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. I guess this worked out for the best." Chen said as his throne came down to have him sit on it "This is goodbye!" he then said pushing a button, where a trapdoor came from under Karloff to have him fall through it.

When he fell we could all hear his scream. "As you can see, lose and you are out. Break any rule, you are out." Chen listed out, while his henchmen took the image of Karloff of the bracket board and crushed it to pieces "Never bits the hand that feeds you, Master Chen delicious noodles. Now rest up. Tomorrow the tournament will recommence." he then said to us, as his henchmen banged to gong to have us leave the entrance hall.

In the mess hall~

After getting my dinner, a few of the elemental masters wanted me to sit with them, while the one's I nullified their powers glared at me. I head towards where the ninja were after they rejected Mr. Pale's offer to sit with them. "May I sit with you?" I asked them, Jay was about to reject but Garmadon stood up for me "Let her. She's an ally." he said scooting over to give me room to sit with them. "D-did you see all of that?" Jay asked nervously "Yup, and lets just say that was very entertaining." I snickered a bit. "Should we really trust her? I mean she could be a spy for Chen." Kai said narrowing his eyes at me "She's not one of Chen's subordinates. I've known for a long time in my dark days as well as hers to have become a great asset." Garmadon said to him. 

"How did you even meet her?" Lloyd asked "Well... We both weren't in our right state of minds during when we met." Garmadon started. "But we got along pretty well and became drinking buddies while he was in Yokohama." I said with a fake smile "I've heard about the incident with the three ability war with the ADA, Guild, and the Port Mafia. Were there any casualties?" he asked. "There were a few, but Yokohama wasn't all that badly damaged." I said to him "Wait, wait, wait. You mean to tell me that you've hanged around him when he was just a shadow?" Jay asked "Well I've meat him when I was younger when he was still a student of Chen. And so yeah." I said finishing up my dinner and leaving before they could ask me more question.

Lloyd's P.O.V.

After [Y/n] left, I couldn't keep my eyes off of her retreating form. "Ah... I see that look in your eyes." Jay said, making me look at him confused. "What?" I asked confused "You know what I mean. Guys looks like Lloyd has a crush on [Y/n]." Jay said with a teasing smirk. "Well it's about time you found someone." Kai said with a smirk "Yeah, you really need a girlfriend. Can't stay single forever." Cole said putting a hand on my shoulder. "Leave me alone and now I don't." I said looking away "You don't have to denied it, son. I had the same feeling as you when I feel in love with your mother." my dad said to me with a smile, which made the others laugh.

Timeskip~to Kai's room~

When it was finally time to sneak into Kai's room, me and Cole already made it there till Kai was done talking with Skylor to get Jay in. While waiting Cole has already made himself comfortable in Kai's room. "Whoa-ho-ho-ho. Nice digs." Jay complemented "I know. His room is so much nicer than mine. Look, chocolate covered shell peas. I love these." Cole said rolling on his stomach to eat the sweets from the bowl to then lie on Kai's bed. "Oh, and look how soft your pillows are. Man, mine are made of rock. What a crock." he then complained "Okay, it was almost impossible to get here. This place is swarming with guards. Any ideas on how we search the island?" Jay asked trying to come up with a plan. "We travel by shadow. Cover every square inch of this place until we find him." Kai said to hm.

"The island's big. We'll need to split up." Jay said "No, we stick together." I protested against that idea. "Uh, guys... The bed is, uh..." Cole said from the bed "Cole, I get it! You like my bed. Would you stop playing around?" Kai yelled. "I think I know how we can search the island." Cole said with a grin on his face, he then told us to lie down on the bed which made this feel very weird. "Okay, I feel ridiculous." I said feeling very uncomfortable "You're right. The pillows are soft." Jay said relaxing into the pillows on the bed. "Is this a joke?" I asked getting annoyed that we weren't getting anywhere with this "I must've done something to trigger it. I was laying here, then I stretched..." Cole said as he reached his arm out to hit a switch to have the bed flip to a secret passageway.

"Whoa! Secret passageway! Cool." Jay said as we were hanging onto the bed before landing on the ground and have Kai activate his power. "Nice work, Cole. Maybe Zane's not on the island, but in it." Kai said leading the way, till we all heard grunting " Quiet. Do you hear that?" I said, as we looked up to see two holes in the wall. "Oh, secret peep holes. Ha, ha! Super cool! Sounds like someone's fighting on the other side of this wall." Jay said excitedly climbing up the wall to peek into the room "What do you see? Who's fighting?" Cole asked. "It's not a fight. It's Skylor's room. And it looks like she's training." Jay said, which made Kai climb up to him to also have a look. "Let me see! Let me see!" he said pushing Jay "Oh, looks like Kai's got the hots for her." Cole teased.

Luckily it's Kai this time and not me, but I still can't help this feeling when I'm around [Y/n]. "No, she's competition. I just wanna know what powers we're up against." Kai tries to say "Wait your turn." Jay complains being pushed. "We can at least share." Kai said trying to get a look. "Guys, this is an invasion of privacy." I said to them, trying to get back at the subject at hand "Her room doesn't reveal anything about her power." that is until they gasped all of a sudden. "What was it? What did you see?" Cole asked curios to what they saw "She's... fire." Kai said out of breath. "Wait a minute. If we're all descendants of elemental masters..." I said to then have a smirk on my face, while Cole was laughing "Kai's heart is on fire. Kai's heart is on fire. Kai's heart is on fire." he sang while also doing a little dance.

"Can we please just keep moving?" Kai complains "And besides not all of us are elemental masters. Your little crush." he then said with a smirk, which made my face heat up at that. "Huh. It's like a maze down here. Good thing you're leaving a trail back to our room." Kai said, as we turned back to see Cole with his snack trail behind us. We then came to the end of the path, but we heard a huge thud from somewhere above. "What's that?" Jay said climbing up to the next floor to find another peep hole "Jay, we're suppose to go down not up." Kai said, as we followed him up to the next floor. The thuds kept getting louder till we saw another pair of peep holes "Let's see who's in this room." Jay said going up to the peep holes.

"Hey guys there's enough peep holes for everyone so what are you waiting for?" he said having us climb up to see who was there and it was [Y/n]. She was kicking a sandbag really hard till she kicked it off it's hinges, even though she was all tired and sweaty she still looks beautiful. "Hey look at TV." Kai said, which made us look at the slide on her TV. "That man next to her must be her brother." I said looking at the man with similar features to [Y/n]. "And how would you know that?" Cole asked with a smirk on face along with the others "S-she told me." I said going back to look at her. "*sigh* That was the tenth one tonight." she said grabbing a water bottle and sat on her bed "Now lets see how far my brother has gone in this book." [Y/n] mumbled bringing out the red book she had.

The title was 'The Complete Guide to Suicide' on it. "Wait she's suicidal?!" Jay whispered yelled "No she can't be she said that was her brother remember on the boat!" I whispered yelled back him. "Hey look the slide changed." Kai said to us, the picture was now had her, her brother, and two other men in the background, but she looked very different. It then changed again to show her sparing with a younger boy with black hair with a green highlight in a green gi.

In the picture she also looks very emotionless and unamused in the picture as well staring at the boy. "Let's get back to searching." I said leaving the peeping hole to get back on track.
