"Time doesn't heal anything.. It just teaches us how to live with the pain."

"You still picking me up Jess?" You asked when he had answered your call.
"I-I don't know (Y/N)." He said, his voice sounding shaky.
"Is everything okay?" You asked. "You sound upset."
"Remember how I said the guys were coming over for a therapy session?"
"Yeah..."
"Well, things got a little heated and, well, Chester may have shot Chad."
"What?" You said in complete shock. "Why would he shoot his own boyfriend?"
"Remember how I said that both of their families are heavy Christians?"
You nodded. Then you realized that he couldn't see it and mentally facepalmed.
"Yes."
"Well, I think Chester's family are trying to convert him." Jesse said. "And I think that it's working."
"That's so sad." You said. "I can't believe that they would do something like that."
"Some people just suck (Y/N)." He said. "So yeah. I don't think I can drive you there. I'm really sorry. I hope things go well."
"Yeah, me too." You said, sighing. "Good luck with them. And how's Ryan by the way?"
"Way better." Jesse said. "I would say that he's almost back to his old self."
"That's nice to hear." You said. "I'm happy to hear that."
"Yeah." Jesse said. "Well, you better go. You don't want to be late."
"I'll talk to you later." You said before hanging up.
"Can't wait." He said. You could imagine him grinning.

"Well (Y/N)." The doctor said after the checkup. "Baby's doing fine. She's quite big and quite tall for her stage. She'll most likely be pretty hard to deliver."
"I would like to avoid a C-section if it's possible." You said.
"It's most likely possible." The doctor said. "She's not breech."
"Wonderful." You said, breathing a sigh of relief.
"I'll see you next month."
"Actually, there's something I wanted to ask."
"Ask away."
"Is it at all possible to do a test to determine who the father is?"
He gave you a look as if he was saying, "You really don't know who fathered your own kid?" But nonetheless, he replied, "We could do a blood test. It's ninety-nine percent accurate and it tests to see if the baby has diseases such as autism and it also checks for fatal birth defects."
"Let's try it then." You said, smiling.

"Blood test hm?" Dark asked as you waited for the results to come back.
"Yeah." You said, smirking. "I'm going to prove to you that it's Mark's and not yours."
"Even if it doesn't turn out to be mine, I'll stay here and watch her grow up."
"You can do that as long as you don't hurt her."
"Oh, I don't hurt her unless you hurt me."
"Oh shut your damn mouth! They're coming back!"
The doctor came out with a smile and handed you a packet.
"Feel free to look through it." He said.

You skimmed through the parts where it said that the baby didn't have any of the diseases that it tested for and you were happy about that. But you were overjoyed when you reached the very end.
Mother: (Y/N) Fischbach
Father: Mark Fischbach
"Oh, thank God!" You muttered under your breath.
"Mark was amazing."
"How do you know him?"
"We were good friends in high school."
You smiled as you looked down at your ring.
"Well, see you next month (Y/N)."
"See ya." You got up and began walking to your car. Before getting in, you looked up at the sky.
"Mark Fischbach, you are officially the father. I never once doubted that you were."
