While there Jungkook is busy comforting Soojin, the intense fight among the boys goes on here. Yoongi and Hoseok fighting with Wonhyun's tenants, while Seokjin not leaving a single chance to beat up Wonhyun in the worst way possible. Taehyung is unable to process any of the events. He's in a mix of emotions, whether he should go and comfort his sister or go and help his hyungs. Suddenly, Seokjin is thrown to the ground by Wonhyun, who has a grimacing smile on his face.

"Hyung!!" Taehyung yells, when Wonhyun is about to attack on defeated Seokjin. Seokjin widens his eyes as he stops breathing until, he hears a scream and.....

"Uh...." Wonhyun falls onto the ground, with a pool of blood oozing from his head. Seokjin gets terrified as he backs off, shaking in fear and sees Taehyung trembling, with a huge, metal rod in his hands.

The other two tenants get terrified by the event and surrender. Soon, Bang PD and Namjoon reach the site. The cops arrive and arrest the three monsters and they're sent to juvenile. Wonhyun got serious injuries due to the hard blow on his head. He had to spend about two months in the medical centre and after being released, he was sent to Juvenile. Taehyung was exempted from being arrested and his act was considered as an act of defence.

This incident had lasting affects on Soojin. It took her days to even talk freely and trust her brothers. In the beginning days, she used to stay 24/7 with Jungkook, he was the only one she felt safe with. Slowly, she started to overcome it and behave freely with her brothers again. She was sent to self-defense centre by the agency, to prevent any such incidents to occur in the future. However, there was a still a fear of men that she couldn't get out of her.

October, 2012 ~

The recent auditions were over and three more new trainees were selected. One of them was to be residing in dorm 1. However, this time, none of the boys felt the excitement and anticipation to welcome the new member. They are worried. Worried how Soojin will react and how she will adjust to the new guy. Namjoon requested Bang PD to not give any new trainee in their dorm but was sent back by the response, "Don't worry, we chose the best one among them. He won't be a trouble."

Namjoon sighs and looks at his members— all the boys with serious expressions and sulking, while Soojin being terrified. "Y'all please.... At least greet him well, okay? Don't make him feel awkward!" He warns the boys before walking out to bring in the new guy. He's sweet and charming, short in height and well mannered. He doesn't seem with any bad intentions but still, we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.

As soon as he enters the dorm, he observes the tense situation and is confused. Am I being a burden? Nonetheless, he bows to them and smiles, his eyes crinkling and seeming to be almost closed, "Greetings to all my friends!! I'm Park Jimin, 17, from Hoedong-dong, Busan!! Thank you for welcoming me here. I hope to have fun with y'all and will try my best to not cause any trouble!!" He waits for their response.

But the boys..... They have all serious expressions and poker faces, staring right at him as if he had done something wrong. Jimin gulps, feeling nervous. He glances at each of them, giving them a warm smile. When he sees Soojin and Jungkook, who are younger than him, he just waves at them. Soojin shivers and clutches on Jungkook, while Jungkook, he gives him a deadly glare, showing him a middle finger.

Namjoon bites his lower lip and looks away from his members. He is getting embarrassed. He clears his throat and introduces himself, "Welcome to our dorm, Jimin!! I'm Kim Namjoon, 18, from Ilsan!! Nice to have you here!" He gives him a dimple smile. He glares at his members, gesturing them not to act this strange, and introduce themselves.

Seokjin starts, "Kim Seokjin, 20, Gyeonggi-do."

"Min Yoongi, 19, Daegu"

"Jung Hoseok, 18, Gwangju"

"Kim Taehyung, 16, Daegu"

"Wow, we're of the same age!" Jimin grins at him, excited that he'll at least have someone of his age however Taehyung just gives him a 'so? What should I do?' look, making his smile fade away.

"Jeon Jungkook and Kim Soojin, 14 and 12, Busan" Jungkook says it all, not letting Soojin speak a single word.

Jimin's eyes lit up when he hears Busan and he was about to ask Jungkook from which province they were but the sharp glare he was giving him, Jimin felt nervous and awkward and decided to let it slide. Namjoon shows Jimin his bed and where the necessary things are kept.

A week passes by and yet, nothing has changed. The boys keep on giving strange looks to Jimin and often ignore him and behave coldly with him. It's just Namjoon and Hoseok who are a bit friendly to him. Taehyung is starting to get a bit easy with him too. Hoseok found a similar interest of dance with him while Taehyung and Jimin were classmates.

Jimin wanted to get along with the others too but they gave no chance to him. Yoongi didn't even exchange a word with him, Seokjin just interacted when he served food to him before heading to his University. Jimin wished to chat with Jungkook and Soojin because why not? They both were from Busan and of course, when you meet someone from your hometown at an unknown place, there's always a special connection. But everytime he would approach them, he was met by Jungkook's intense glare. Soojin seemed mysterious to him. He didn't understand why she trembles so badly whenever he approaches them. He wondered if she had some disorders.

One fine day, it's about 8 in the evening. Soojin has been waiting from the past hour at the school premises, for her brothers to pick her up. Her extra classes ended at 7 but it was raining so heavily with a terrifying thunderstorm, that the boys had to wait to go and pick her up.

She is sitting anxiously, tapping her feet on the floor. The crowd is getting smaller as the students are slowly leaving for their homes. There are only a few students left and most of them are boys. This made Soojin shiver in fear as her phobia of men is slowly rising. She's lost in her thoughts when suddenly someone comes up to her, "Hey..."

She jumps up and almost screams until she sees the familiar guy. Isn't he the new trainee? "What do you want?" She said coldly, indicating that she doesn't like his presence.

"Ah... Nothing exactly..." Jimin scratches the back of his neck, "What are you doing here?"

"Extra classes, ofc" she says, her response quick as she looks away.

"Oh.... Same here... Actually, it was my turn to clean the classroom so... I'm late by an hour..", he says, "What about you? You had any more work?"

Soojin doesn't say anything just shakes her head. She's getting uncomfortable. Jimin senses it and tries to lighten the situation up, "Hey....uh, Soojin right?" She nods, "Why are you waiting here? We're from the same dorm. You can come with me," he offers her with a warm smile. But in return, he just gets a side eye from Soojin as she replies coldly, "No thanks. My brothers will come and they told me not to trust strangers" Jimin becomes red in embarassment. Sh*t.... She must be thinking I'm here to kidnap her.

"Okay...," he mumbles and takes a seat beside her. There's no way he's leaving her alone there. First of all, she a girl and secondly, she's younger than him. So, Jimin felt a sense of responsibility as if it is his duty to protect her. He just takes out his textbook and starts reading it, while he waits for her brothers to come and pick her up.

Soojin glances at him and frowns. What's wrong with him? Why did he sit here now?? She shifts on her seat sits a bit away from Jimin.

Another fifteen minutes passed by, the storm had started to get calmer. Soojin is getting impatient now. Where are they?! She groaned mentally. She hears her stomach grumble in hunger, and so does Jimin. Jimin sighs, "You sure you don't wanna go home by now?" He asks her, his voice soft and gentle, carrying a hint of concern. Soojin thinks. He has been with me for a while now and he hasn't done anything to me. Maybe his intentions are not bad? Maybe I can trust him? Well, if he tries to do something, I'll make sure to kick his balls hard! She gains some confidence, "okay.... Let's go..."

Jimin looks at her for a moment and then grins. He gets up, wearing his bag on his shoulders as he opens his umbrella. "Do you have an umbrella?" Soojin looks down and shakes her head.

Jimin gives her an assuring smile, "it's alright.... Give me your bag then."

Soojin frowns, "Bag...?"

"Yeah, I'll carry it. Give it to me," he takes her bag and wears it in front of him, "We're ready to go, yeah?" She nods again, "Here, hold my hand." Soojin hesitantly holds his hand, unsure if it's the right thing to do. She knows she'll probably get an hour of lecture from Seokjin for trusting an unknown guy but what can she do? She desperately wants to go home!

And they start off on their path.  They go on, walking in the heavy rain, water splashing on their shoes and making them wet. Jimin shields her by his umbrella, while he himself gets drenched in the rain. Momentarily, the sky lights up with a steak of lighting, followed by a loud roar, making Soojin finch and yelp. Jimin giggles, "Hey, don't be scared!! C'mere!" He wraps one of his hand around her shoulder, pulling her close.

After a while, they reach the bus stop. Jimin looks at her and says, "You're hungry right? Let's get something for us!" He takes her to the Convenience Store near the bus stop. Soojin doesn't like to take things for granted so she denies, "Ah Oppa... It's alright!! You don't need to--"

"Hey c'mon! Go, choose whatever you like!" Jimin grins, giving her an eye smile, making Soojin feel a sense of comfort as she returns that smile back to him. She goes to the milkshake section, and picks up a Choco milk and a Banana milk. This one's for Kookie!

"Hobiii!!!!! Hurry up, for God's sake!!!!" Seokjin yells at Hoseok, while he's busy cooking food, "It's 8:45!!!!! Suju would be crying by now!!!!!"

"Yeah yeah hyung...." Hoseok croaks out as he ties his shoelaces.

"Yeah Hobi. Now, Jungkook will cry too. His ears are already red," Yoongi says sarcastically, glancing at Jungkook, making Hoseok giggle. He quickly puts on his raincoat and takes an extra umbrella with him, for Soojin. And he sets out on his way.

Hoseok leaps through the rain, putting his raincoat over his head firmly so that his hair won't get wet and he won't catch a cold. When he was about to reach the Nonhyeon-dong bus stop, he heard a familiar laugh, echoing through the narrow alleyway.

"I thought you were bad at first, but maybe you're not that bad"

"Wait, don't tell me you thought me as a kidnapper?!!"

They both giggle, a girl and a boy. Hoseok frowns at it.

"Btw, you are Taehyung's sister, right?"

What?!! Taehyung's sister?! It means....Suju?!!! Hoseok gasps.

"Yes, how did you know?"

"Uhm, your faces. You both look alike. He's my classmate tho--"

"Suju... Is it you??"

That makes both of them stop. Soojin squints her eyes to see who's it. "Hobi oppa!!" She yells joyfully as she frees herself from Jimin's grasp and rushes to Hoseok.

"Aigoo...." He pats her head, "Did you come alone?! Who brought you?" He asks, getting worried and confused. Soojin turns back and points, "that new oppa"

Then, a completely drenched Jimin comes in Hoseok's view as he asks, "Ayy Jimin?! Goshh!! You're completely drenched!!! Come on, hurry! You'll catch a cold!!"

Then, the three hurry to the dorm. All the members were baffled when they got to know that it was the new trainee, Jimin, who brought Soojin home. The more shocking thing for them was that the fact that despite her trauma of men, she still trusted him to bring her home. They were relieved and happy to know it. They thought perhaps, Jimin is the one who'll help Soojin overcome her past trauma.

After Jimin got to know the reason behind Soojin's strange behaviour, he felt really grieved. How could someone do this to a child?! He readily agreed to help Soojin, "Don't worry.... I'll help her. I'll do everything to make her overcome her trauma." He assures the older members.

And yes, he was successful in it. His efforts proved true as Soojin was no longer scared and she started living happily again. Jimin was happy too. He started getting along with all the members really well and became a part of their little family. Taehyung was happy too. He finally got his partner and now, is in a pair too!!

"Jiminaahhh, you're mine, okay?" Taehyung mumbles as he clings onto Jimin, making him look at Soojin and Jungkook, who are walking beside them, with a helpless look.

"You're saying this as if I'm a girl!" Jimin whines.

"Nah, you're my best friend!! I finally got my partner!" Taehyung grinned.

"For real, you both are seeming to me as gays," Jungkook rolls as his eyes as Soojin giggles.

Taehyung glares at him, "Oh yeah?! If me and Jiminie are gays, then you both are a couple, okay?!"

"HEYY!!" Jungkook and Soojin yell at him together.

"You three stop screaming!" Jimin huffs, "we're in a park!!"

And like this, their fun-filled, chaotic lives carried on. They are happy with each other, sharing each bit of their troubles and joys with each other, having no idea of what the future beholds.
