    Levy thinks, Lucy teases me about Gajeel.  She sighs as she realizes perhaps Lucy is right and she does like this Gajeel person.  It does matter anyway because she can not tell him.

    Gajeel looks around and thinks, now where did that woman run off too anyway?  

" Why do I even care?"  Gajeel asks himself.

  "Levy is rather pretty though, " He admits.

     Gajeel smiles as he thinks, great I like this Levy.  He believes his chances she passes by anytime soon are low.  

    Gajeel's  POV:
   Great I would fall for the first woman who crosses paths with me in years.

     I wish I knew where to find her, but  I have no idea where she lives.

   It is my fault she ran off because I was not nice to her.

 The way I see it is she almost died because of me, so I felt like I owed her a favor when I rescued her from a sudden fall off that cliff.

  I am not sure when I begin to think about her as a woman for me.  I know it sounds crazy, but  I love her.

  A  few weeks later, Levy is in the woods again only this time she watches where she walks. She thinks, wow this place sure is neat.

  "Well, I see you came back!"  Gajeel says. He tries not to act too eager to see her.

  "Yes, so what about it?"  Levy asks.

"I just wonder why you came out here again?  I was not the nicest person in the world the first time we met."  Gajeel says.

"Yes, well first appearances are not everything you know.  At least, that is what my grandmother use to tell me."  Levy says.

"Wow, you knew your grandmother?   I wish I could have met mine. Only she died when I was just a baby that is the one on my father's side did.

"Then, the one on my mother's side did not approve of my parent's marriage.  Let's us just say she was not too thrilled when my parents had me.

"Oh, I see. I am sorry, I never meant to hurt your feelings."  Levy says.

"Do not worry you did not.  Shrimp you may the first friend that is a girl I have had in a long time."  Gajeel says.

"What?  You consider me to be your friend?"  She asks.

"Yes, that is if you are okay with it,"  Gajeel says.

"Yes, sure after all I owe you one for saving my life,"  Levy says.

"Do not mention that horrible incident again.  Why if were not for my grumpy attitude that day you might not have needed saving in the first place."  Gajeel says.

"Oh, in that case, deal then.  I will not bring it up again, friend."  Levy says.

"Good, that is more like it shrimp, " Gajeel says.

  "You know you are pretty, shrimp, " Gajeel remarks.

"Oh, well you are not so bad yourself, Gajeel."  She says.

"What is it?  Why did you back away?"  Gajeel asks.

"I just do not think..." Levy begins.

   Gray sees Gajeel and Levy together.  He decides to use this as an excuse to tease him a  little.  "Look, Natsu, and  Leon,  Gajeel found himself  a woman!"  Gray retorts.

  "You know Gray I do believe you are right,"  Leon says.

"Gajeel, who is this pretty damsel?"   Natsu asks.

"It is none of your concern, boys, now leave her alone,"  Gajeel says.

"Why is she your girlfriend or something?  " Gray asks in a teasing tone.

"Yeah, is she or not?"  Leon asks.

"Well, speak up now, we did not hear you,"  Natsu says.

   Gajeel looks at her and thinks, please forgive me for this Levy.  

"Why sure she is, can you not  tell!"  Gajeel says.

  "Is this true, Levy?"  Gray asks.

   "Well, is it?"  Leon wants to know.

    "I think he is bluffing,"  Natsu scoffs.

   "Too bad boys, you see Gajeel is my boyfriend!"  Levy lies. She thinks, why did I just say that for anyway?

     "I must say Gajeel, you did pick a pretty girl to date;  I must be going now,"  Gray says.

   "I am rather busy as well see you,"  Leon says then leaves.

     Natsu laughs.  "Bye, I will leave you two alone,"  Natsu says and walks away.

     After Gajeel friends left and went on their separate ways, Levy says, "Gajeel that was not necessary I could have taken care of myself."
     

    "I was happy to be of assistance, shrimp,"  Gajeel says.

    "Shrimp, who you calling shrimp, metalhead?"  Levy remarks.

"Metalhead, huh, oh so you do like me?"  Gajeel teases Levy

  "Haha, metalhead in your dreams," Levy blurts out. She blushes.

"Oh, yeah!  Then why is your face all red?"  Gajeel asks.  He blushes too.

"My face is not red, but yours sure is metalhead,"  Levy teases him.

"Shrimp, I like you!"  Gajeel says. He thinks I can not tell her yet that I love her.

"Well, I do not like you.  I mean you are my friend sure, but we can not possibly be more than this."   Levy says.

 "Oh, yeah!"  Gajeel says when he sees her run. He chases after Levy.

"Why did you vouch for me earlier in front of the guys then?"  Gajeel asks when he catches up to her.

"Look, I only did that because they made fun of you. I can not stand it when someone makes fun of my friends,"  Levy replies.

 "Oh, I see!  You know you are pretty for a shrimp, " Gajeel says.

     Levy thinks why does his stand so close and why does my heart race so fast?   

"L-Look Metalhead, I do not want to cause any trouble so p-please do not stand so close,"  Levy says.

   "Oh, why not?  Are you afraid of me?"   Gajeel asks.

   "Levy please tell me!"  Gajeel says.

    Levy takes a deep breath.  "It just I never kissed anyone before, but when I do I want it to be out of love,"  She confesses.

   "Levy, I promise if you do not like the kiss I will not do it again, so what do you say?"  Gajeel asks.

   "No, metalhead, please do not,"  Levy says.

  "I- I will be going now,"  Levy says.  She runs off.

   "Shrimp, wait!"  Gajeel calls out after her when he catches up to her after she ran off from him again.

  "What do you want?  Just leave me alone, metalhead!"  Levy says sadly.

"Fine, if that is what you want, but I was only going to offer to walk you home,"  Gajeel replies.

     Levy walks away rather ticked off with Gajeel right now.  Gajeel watches her go, sighs, and thinks, great I missed up did not I?
