what is queer baiting?

at its core, queer baiting is when a show teases an lgbtq relationship in a trailer or in promotional videos, but the show doesn't go through with it.

for example, sherlock, Falcon and the Winter soldier, the bisexual percy thing

however that has recently changed. a lot of people have been going at celebrities who go by she/they or he/they pronouns, who wear fem clothing and is a man or wears masc clothing but is a woman, or say they don't want is disclose their sexuality

so, what exactly is the problem?

the problem is that, literally none of it is your business.

what sparked my rant is people bashing kit connor for holding hands with a gasp girl

ummmm bestie what???

first off i want to say that i am very aware of how certain celebrities will profit off of queer aesthetics

however, to claim that they identify as a certain sexuality or gender is really fucking weird

and that's where this very small rant comes in

kit connor is 18 why in the flippity flapping fuck do you mean you think he's got his sexuality figured out

every 18 year old i know if tryna figure out what they're gonna major in, and none of them have the mental capacity to figure out a sexuality while they're at it

also, he never said he was queer???? he just played a queer character???
