'Allo governors, Jaden here. I have a very serious topic to talk about. I know that not many of you would be interested to read this so you don't have to stay. But for those who do want to read this, I'm just going to explain why I don't really like the Smash Community. Just a fair warning, I don't hate the entire community, only those who have cause the most drama. Mainly because I am a Smash player, I'm just not a huge competitive player like a lot of people and I am not extremely rude. As I was saying, the reason for my disliking of the Smash Community is because a ton of these people just seem to cause so much drama. Obviously, these people end up attacking Sakurai for making the game too unfair or straight up unenjoyable. Not only that, but there is so much backlash towards many things in Smash. A good example was when the character Hero was released. Now, I am a huge Dragon Quest fan and I was absolutely happy that they added this character. However, the Community raged at Sakurai because the character was unfair due to the amount of RNG he had. Sure, it is random, but it isn't always going to happen. This got so out of hand that so many people wanted him banned from tournaments. If I had to make a statement about this, Hero isn't like Bayonetta from Smash 4 days, he still requires skill unlike the other mentioned character. And another thing that I hate is how the Community bullied a 15 year old girl for destroying one of Smash's best players last year. Because of the toxic this community had created, she basically quit Smash because no one can accept a person being skillful. Not only that, as I am writing this, a person whom I knew started ranting to me about how he hates Smash Ultimate and how "unbalanced" it is. He started claiming that Smash Ultimate was so bad, it was worse than games like Paper Mario Sticker Star or Superman 64. He doesn't like the toxic part of the Smash Community despite the fact like he is acting like those people. I'm sorry that you a probably thinking that I am going on a tangent but I had to try to say this. Masahiro Sakurai made this game to bring gamers together and make friends, not to create a competitive sport and cause drama. He's just a man with some social anxiety and he's being hated for it. Heck, even the guy that I mentioned is blaming Sakurai for making an unfair and unbalanced game. A lot of people are like this and claim that others win because of a specific character. But if I had to say something, it's not the character that makes the player win, it's how skillful they are at playing. I'll let you all know, I am not a very competitive player. So I know that I don't have the skills to beat someone who has had years of experience. But just because they play a certain character, doesn't mean they automatically win. Back when Joker was one of the top characters, a friend of mine tried to beat me using him, he got 3 stocked because his skill level was lower than mine. So to all you out there that play Smash, I beg of you that you don't cause more drama than there should be. Like Sakurai, I just want to be able to enjoy this games with any friends that play with me. And people shouldn't hate on Sakurai, he has spent years trying to make this game, he should have a break. Now you know why I am not very happy with the Smash Community. I hope you all understand my frustration. I apologise if you think this as a rant but I just wanted to let you all know how I feel.
