Two years ago...

Darkness...that was it.

It's not like one could expect much else from this unknown place. Not even it's only two inhabitants knew anything about it, only that they ended up here after sealing away the Chaos Heart. They could open their eyes, but they saw nothing. They could open their mouths, but there was no noise. They couldn't even see each other.

These two inhabitants where Lord Blumiere and Lady Timpani. Two lovers who where only reunited minutes before they ended up here. After Dimentio had betrayed Blumiere when he was Count Bleck he took the Chaos Heart, and with the unwilling help of Luigi, became Super Dimentio. A being strong enough to destroy all worlds. Luckily the Heroes of the Light Prognosticus where able to use the Pure hearts and take down the beast. Sadly Dimentio left a shadow of himself behind to keep the void open. The only way to save the worlds was for Lord Blumiere and Lady Timpani to seal the Chaos Heart away, sacrificing themselves in the process. They remembered their friends and minions. Mimi, a little shapeshifter with a love of rubies. O'Chunks, a brave and strong warrior who had a bigger heart then he did a brain, and Nastasia, a smart and mostly quiet hypnotist who acted as a secretary to Lord Blumiere during his days as Count Bleck.

They didn't know how long they where there. Time was meaningless when there was no indication of it even passing. One day though a sharp pain shot through Lord Blumiere's head. He began to feel something under him, he didn't want to open his eyes though. Once the pain began to clear it almost felt as if Blumiere was laying on a floor. He slowly opened his eyes, not moving much. His vision began to clear and once it did, he was shocked. He quickly tried to get up, only for it to be incredibly painful. He got up much slower now, and once he did he looked around to make sure he wasn't going crazy. He was standing near the alter. The place where he and Timpani sealed the heart away. "B-Blumiere?" A soft voice said from behind him. He turned to see Lady Timpani, siting up. Looking almost dizzy and confused. She was no longer a butterfly pixel, but the human woman he first met her as. "Timpani, are you alright?" Blumiere asked, walking to the beautiful woman. "I believe so....why are we here? What happened?" Timpani asked as she tried to stand. "I don't know." Said Blumiere, looking around yet again as if maybe something around them could give them answers. "Should....should we go look around?" Timpani asked, unsure of what to do. "Perhaps that would be a good idea." Blumiere responded, taking her hand and walking with her.

"Mimi stop switching to look like O'Chunks, K?" Nastasia asked as she heard O'Chunks complaining from the other end of the door. "Fine, if you say so." Mimi giggled, then changed to look like Nastasia. "Now yer impersonatin Nastasia!" O'Chunks shouted. Nastasia burst open the door, and looked at the two of them. Annoyance clearly written on her face. "How am I supposed to get any work done with all this shouting?!" She raised her voice. "Sorry." Mimi and O'Chunks apologized quickly. Nastasia however wasn't listening. In fact, shock replaced the annoyance on her face. Mimi and O'Chunks quickly followed her gaze, only to share the same reaction. Mimi was the first to snap out her her shock and instantly run to what they where looking at. "Count!" She shouted happily, O'Chunks was the next to bound over with a big smile on his face. Nastasia took a bit longer to pull herself together. She walked over with a smile on her face to greet Blumiere and Timpani.
