"I have to go upstairs and make those damn media calls overseas now luv, alright.." John kissed my cheek as I nodded, there were no survivors left from the party, a lot went home, a few camped in the house. I was busily cleaning. The place was like a bomb site and now, plastic garbage bags were piled ready to go to the trash. Stacked by the back door to take to the skip out the back, which stood 20 metres down the tight alleyway.
A mural is painted opposite the door way and I always have to look at it. Girls- no they're more Goddesses', dancing, and they almost leap out of the wall towards me in their pose.
It's 4am the sun is about to rise and the street light sits on the street doing its job, here it's darker but I can just make out the skip, the mural. The local cat that wanders the lane meows and I want to feed it so badly but that will only cause more feline trouble.
Leaning back into the doorway to get two of the bags I feel a chill, a shiver up my spine, then, as fast as it was there, it's gone. I guess a breeze has whipped up on the beach and made its way towards the bar, wisps of wind making it into the alleyway. The door shuts, a key code panel is attached so I just have to punch numbers back in to open it. No hassle.
My cape is annoying and as I throw a bag in over the side of the skip it nearly catches and rips, I set the bag down and fiddle with the end, tucking the silly thing into my short pants. Another bag in, 3 more to go, two at a time I might do the next couple and leave the third run for the morning.
Four numbers in the keypad and I'm in, one push and I'm out again. Then, as I glance at the mural, all hell breaks loose. I'm sucker punched to the floor, hitting my head heavily on the pavement. Blood dribbles instantly from my skull and I try to see who's there. Pulled, dragged along against the wall by my hair, I see blurry images, the goddesses smiling down upon me. I try hard to scratch and claw but he moves out of reach. Bigger harder, he must be a he I reason. His reflexes are too swift for me with my head pounding away from the hit I received. Smacked in the mouth, my head slams backwards yet again, cracking into the wall behind. I try to scream but his hand is shoving a dirty rag in my mouth.
The cape, I was so worried about, is ripped away and stood on as if was a cigarette scrunched into the ground.
I reach left and right, I can't claw nor grasp anything within reach of my fingertips, I spit the cloth out only for it to be shoved back in deeper, making me gag.
The Wonder Woman costume becomes a weapon to use against me, the lasso used to wrap around my hands and tie me tightly. My legs forced apart, material ripped and torn away. I wait for the next onslaught, my eyes clear momentarily and I see a face, a face I know. The guy we barred from the club mere days ago. He snarls and looks dead into my eyes.
Slammed into the side of the skip, head impacting again, the skip slams heavily against the metal doors, a huge ricochet of noise rebounds off them. I feel blood seeping through my top. Does anyone hear? I try to kick out, I'm mauled all over. Hands everywhere, fingers scratching me, harsh and hurtfully, feeling me up. But its more him wanting to inflict pain now, than touch me sexually.
I blink and blood soaked tears slip, heating my skin and once more I kick and connect. I'm being choked, the gag makes my throat constrict then another impact. A coward punch to one side of my head has me colliding hard into the heavy metal of the skip once again. Pain shoots every which way. The sound of the my head hitting rings out from the metal, the vibration goes through my body and I dream a light turns on in the room up above.
Alice.
Desperation seems to revel within him as he tries to rip away my top, he twists and tosses me side to side like a rag doll my head hurts so bad, so so bad.
I hope, to the powers that be that Alice is opening that window. Bars protect the glass, Alice can't look down but I hope he has seen, or heard, something... the guy shoves me to the ground, kicks and runs. His footsteps echo through the haze as I struggle to hang on to anything.
More lights switch on and I hear myself feral with groans of pain, dizziness assults my senses. I cling to consciousness, just.
Alice is screaming, I hear him so clearly. God I love my brother. My name echoes through our house, thought the halls, the kitchen, the storeroom, his voice breaking, breaking my heart. John, I hear yelling at Alice.

Alice wails somewhere close. I can't stand the sound in my ears. I hear his screams. I want it to stop, him to stop.
Mute... but I'm screaming too, aren't I? Alice, are you there? I gag, I moan, The pain steals my breath, steals my thoughts.
