Note: Okay, so normally when I come out with a new fic, I post the first or the first two chapters and then that's all...until the book is properly ongoing, so yeah, this is just a preview!

Alright, whoever said being that the son or daughter of a Royal were lucky, clearly didn't know what they were talking about.

"It's not fair," Morgan 'Morro Stefan Queen grumbled in despair as he made his way into the building.

"And...why's that?" Ultra-Violet Hatter asked. She was the daughter of the Mad Hatter of Wonderland... and a good friend of Morro.

"The Royals get everything handed to them on a plate! Money, power, you name it! Whilst us Rebels are wallowing away in sorrow! And they think I'm gonna live up to my mother's legacy, as if! Lloyd's family, I don't wanna poison him!"

The two Rebel students walked up the stairs and were about to open the grand double doors when Violet told him, "Don't worry! The students are going to love you!"

And with that, she pushed the doors open, "LOOK OUT! IT'S MORGAN QUEEN!"

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"

The students dropped their belongings and bolted off leaving the two friends on their own, staring down at the now-empty corridor.

"See? They love you!"

Morro facepalmed.

Meanwhile, a similar conversation was being held by two Royals up in the dorms.

"You have no idea what I would give to be a Rebel!" Lloyd sighed as he stared out through his window longingly.

"What do you mean?" Prince Zachary 'Zane' Tyrone Winters asked his friend.
Zane was the future king of the Ice Kingdom, located high up above the clouds. Lloyd Montgomery White was the son of the famous Snow White, and King Florian, and was destined to be future King of the land.

Lloyd stared back at his friend, "The Rebels get to do as they please, explore wherever, whenever, marry who ever they choose. We're stuck in a curse of death upon eating an apple-"

"That's just you, my friend," Zane pointed out.

"You get the point. And it's not just me! Skylor's soulmate is destined upon a complete stranger who kisses her 100 years after she's cursed with eternal slumber, Nya's soulmate is determined over a fricking shoe, it's just stupid!" he fumed, using his friends as an example. Zane sighed and placed a hand on his friend's shoulder, "I must get going, I haven't collected my schedule, or seen my room. Speaking of which, who's your roommate?"

"My cousin, Morro,"

"Morro, as in, Morgan Stefan Queen, son of the Evil Queen,"

"Yup."

Zane shivered, "Good luck. I'll see you later," and with that, he left.

Lloyd was alone in the dorm. He didn't know when Morro would arrive, he quite liked his cousin, ironically. The two got along well.

The door then opened a creak and a familiar raven and brunette peeked their heads through the door. "Knock knock!"

The blonde prince laughed as he opened the door, allowing the two siblings to enter.

Kaiden 'Kai' Asher Charming and Naveah 'Nya' Paris Charming were the children of Henri and Cinderella Charming. They also happened to be very close friends with Lloyd and Zane.

"How are you guys? Gosh it's been ages!"

Nya let out a chuckle, "Excited for the new semester?"

"New semester, new chapter. Can't wait! Who are you guys rooming with?"

Kai shrugged, "Same as last year,"

"Me too," Nya echoed. 

"So...this year's Legacy Day," Lloyd started, "but do you guys seriously think that, we're all gonna get our happily-ever-afters?"

"If the shoe fits," the princess responded. She then checked her watch and looked up, "I should get going, I need to be somewhere,"

"O-Okay-"

"Bye Kai, bye Lloyd, charm ya later!" the ravenette rushed out the door.

"Love ya, sis!"

"Love ya, Nya!"

They swore they could hear a faint, "Love ya too!" in response.

Anyways, down at the Hocus Latte, Savannah 'Seliel' Noelle Hood played with the hem of her cloak and stared at the clock. Where was he, she wondered.

The door then opened, revealing Nicholas 'Cole' Piper, son of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, aka, Seliel's boyfriend. The daughter of Red Riding Hood immediately jumped out of her seat and sprinted towards her boyfriend, who swept her up in a tight hug, "How's my favourite girl doing?"

Seliel giggled, "She's doing just fine,"

The two shared a kiss before going back to their table.

"Goodness, it's been ages," Seliel grinned, taking his hands.

"Yes, it sure has," Cole responded, a soft smile on his face, "Should I order? Your usual, right?"

"Yes, please!" Cole chuckled and stood up, to go and stand in line. Seliel clasped her palms and looked around, taking it all in.

Gods, she missed this place.

"Oh. My. Fairygodmother! Seliel!" the pink haired girl was suddenly tackled into a massive hug by none other than Phoebe 'Pixal' Imogen, daughter of...actually, Seliel had no idea.

Ali: Yeah, what's up with that? What's her legacy?

Seliel hugged the blonde tightly and looked up at her grinning. "Roomie!"

Pixal laughed and sat in Cole's seat, "How are things?"

"Great actually! I got loads of good teachers!"

"Me too!" The two girls grinned at each other; they were absolute best friends.

"I gotta run, I promised Toxita I'd meet her at the Library, charm ya later!" she got up and left the coffee shop. Then, a tray laden with two hocus lattes, and two blueberry muffins was placed on the table. Cole grinned and took his seat opposite his girlfriend's. He then nodded towards the door, "Was that your roommate?" Seliel nodded, digging into her muffin. "You still rooming with my brother?"

Cole nodded, "Speaking of which, have you heard from him?"

"Nope," she responded, popping the 'p'. The minute he stepped on campus, he rushed to the dorms, then I saw him running to the Enchanted Forest."

Ali: But seriously, what is Jay up to?

Nya had arrived at a clearing in the Enchanted Forest, and looked around, chewing her lip.

Suddenly, a pair of hands covered her eyes, and Nya smiled, "Jay!"

"The one and only, princess!" He grinned, picking her up and whirling her around before putting her down gently. Nya's cheeks were pink, and she tip-toed and met his lips with her own.

Ali: Wait...isn't that like, against the rules?

Indeed it was. A Royal and a Rebel were forbidden to have a romantic relationship, because of the constant worries of their stories going poof.

Jeremiah 'Jay' Anthony Hunter was the son of the famous Huntsman...and Seliel's twin brother. He was a Rebel. Nya was a Royal. 

But, they were in love, nevertheless.

"I got you something," he said, holding something behind his back. He revealed it to be a pendant, with a phoenix charm on it.

"I love it!" she exclaimed. Jay then placed it around his girlfriend's neck for her.

"I...actually got you a little something too!" she said, handing him a box. Jay opened it, and it revealed to be a photo frame, with the two of them together, laughing at each other.

There was also another gift, a key chain with the date 14.02.2017.

"Happy 3 years, Sparky," she whispered, as Jay kissed her passionately. They both pulled away, and pressed their foreheads against each other. "We're gonna miss dinner,"

Nya burst out laughing, and the two made their way back to the school, unaware of the pair of green eyes, watching them, their face stretched into a smirk of victory. This was it! This was all the proof they needed to move up the Royal Rankings, and knock Nya down!

Sabrianne 'Skylor' Leah Beauty, the daughter of Sleeping Beauty, was still putting up some more clothes. It was almost nine, and her roommate was nowhere to be seen.

That's when the door opened, revealing Nya, who skipped into the room.

"Someone's happy tonight, it seems," she gave a chuckle, as Nya flopped on her bed.

"Today was just...awesome," she breathed, as Skylor grinned. 

Nya then sat up on her bed, "What about you and Kai?" she teased, causing Skylor to blush furiously. Skylor just so happened to be dating Nya's older brother, Kai.

"We're...perfect!"

Nya smiled, as Skylor continued putting her clothes away, "Sky?"

"Mmm?"

"What's gonna happen...to me? I mean, my fairy tail isn't complete, I still don't know who my fairy god mother is... what if they don't exist? How's that gonna affect my story?" Skylor sat on her friend's bed and stroked her dark hair.

"Let's focus on now, and leave the worries about the future for later,"

"How aren't you worried about any of this?! You're gonna be asleep for a 100 years and-"

"Believe me, I don't want to," she responded, "I'm gonna miss out on all the hexciting parties, and, and, seeing my friends! There's still so much I haven't done, yet so little time. The minute we sign the Storybook of Legends, our fates are decided. It can happen wherever, whenever. So, yeah, I'm worried. But let's focus on those worries when the time is right. For now, let's enjoy what we have,"

Nya smiled and nodded before pointing towards the massive heap of clothes on Skylor's bed. "Need any help?"

"I thought you'd never ask!"

The two girls got up, and continued folding Skylor's clothes away, and joking about.

Across the hallway, Lloyd White and Morro Queen had just come back from dinner and were ready for bed.

"So...first day back, how'd you feel?" he asked his cousin as the two leaned on the windowsill and looked out into the night sky.

"Terrible. We have Legacy Day this year, and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but...I don't wanna sign," Morro responded, eyes focused on the moon.

Lloyd sighed, "I...still don't know yet... if I wanna sign," he then went back to his bed, flopping onto the soft mattress and bedding, "I don't want my entire life selected for me, you know? I mean, if I sign, and then eat an apple at any time, I could be under a curse for who knows how long, and I will have to be kissed awake, and be expected to marry that person, probably without even knowing anything about them,"

"Mr Wu said that some fairy tales cross paths," Morro stated as he switched the lights off. As he made his way to his own bed, he spoke, "Sometimes, the one you end up with, might be a friend,"

"Or a foe," Lloyd mumbled bitterly.

"See that right there, that's the problem with you, Lloyd. You need to open up and see the positives in life, and you need to stop snoring so loudly, like JEEZ!"

Lloyd snickered, before pulling the duvet over his body, "I'll try to. Night, Morro,"

"Night, Lloyd,"
