Chapter Two

Choice 3 was chosen +1/2 reputation for the cats who want a strong leader. -1 reputation with Tidespirit.

"If you're such a good deputy, shouldn't you be organising patrols." Emberwillow snapped. Tidespirit let off a low growl, "It's your job to organise patrols, I organise hunting!" With that she stalked off, leaving him alone.

"You know you should really stop annoying her, you're meant to work together." A small voice mewed. Emberwillow turned to find Lilacpaw, the medicine cat apprentice behind him. Lilacpaw was a small grey she cat with bright green eyes, she was the daughter of Ripplestar. "Have you seen the deputies? None of us work together, Foxshadow is basically a nursery dad and Tidespirit acts as if all of us a foxdung." He pointed out. "Still," She mewed, "You probably should organise some patrols." With that she padded off, probably looking for her mother. Emberwillow sighed, he didn't think Lilacpaw would make it through the final apprentice task.

Turning away, he noticed two kits rolling on the ground outside the nursery. Emberwillow sighed quietly, he did need to send out a patrol, but the question was, who to send. He scanned the clearing. A little way away, Blazebreeze and his brother Hailthorn were talking quietly. The brothers looked extremely similar, but had very different personalities. Blazebreeze was calm and patient while Hailthorn got annoyed easily and usually resorted to violence. Tidespirit's daughter Willowstrike was sitting by her sister Ambersong, Willowstrike was exactly like her mother, but Ambersong was more like her father, Blazebreeze.

The apprentices were hanging out on a log they were all full of energy and happy, but they never seemed to talk to the warriors. They were all siblings, another one of Foxshadow's litters. Emberwillow sighed, he doubted many would make it through the final assement. He had a feeling they die if they left camp for three moons and had to survive on their own.

Lilacpaw had been right though, he needed to send out a patrol. He glanced around wondering who to pick.

1) All the apprentices on one patrol, they need to learn to survive on their own at one point.

2) Three apprentices with Tidespirit, she'll teach them to toughen up.

3) All the apprentices and Foxshadow, they'll learn better with their father.

4) A patrol made entirely of warriors.
