Luna's Pov

We were all in the lab as dad was trying his best to fix Bree's chip after she completely destroyed it a few days ago.

Bree was sitting on a chair while we were all surrounding her to see if dad was able to fix her chip.

"Well, Bree, you smashed your chip so badly, it's useless. But! I was able to replicate my brother's original chip and like my face, it's flawless" Dad grinned as he started typing on the cyberdesk.

"Forget the chip. We need to get this dude a mirror" Leo said and I smirked while nodding.

"Wait, so I'm actually going to be bionic again?" Bree asked with a hopeful expression.

"Yep" Dad nodded with a small smile.

"Yes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Bree grinned as she hugged dad tightly who chuckled and hugged her back.

I smiled at them and then dad glanced down at the screen on the cyberdesk.

"Your chip's almost ready" Dad smiled as they pulled away from the hug.

Once he said that the chip fabricator made a ding noise.

"Ooh! Snacks are done!" Adam grinned.

"For the last time, this is not a microwave! It's a chip fabricator" Dad sighed in annoyance.

"Call it whatever you want. I'm still making my mini pizzas in here" Adam shrugged and I just scoffed.

Dad reached into the chip fabricator and took out Bree's chip as he held it in front of her with a smile on his face.

"Okay, Bree, hop in your capsule when you're ready for your new chip" Dad said.

Bree smiled as she took the chip from him and immediately ran inside her capsule.

"You know, Big D, if this works, maybe you can make a chip for me" Leo smiled.

"Please, your body can't handle high-fiber cereal" I mocked with a smirk on my face.

This made the others laugh while Leo crossed his arms and glared at me but I just shrugged at him.

Dad then pressed a few buttons and then the chip was placed inside her neck. Bree stepped out her capsule while rubbing the back of her neck where the chip was placed.

"So? How does it feel?" Dad asked.

"Like a piece of metal just got jammed into my neck and fused to my nervous system!" Bree said.

"Whoo hoo! Success!" Dad cheered and we all smiled.

"Alright, now, give it a try, see how it worked" dad said as Bree walked over to the other side of the lab.

"Ok" Bree nodded as she closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths.

She then activates her superspeed but the difference was she went out of control and sped up onto the ceiling.

She then crashed onto the ground and we all cringed.

"Well, she's still more useful than Chase!" Adam chuckled.

We all glared at him while I smacked him upside the head.

We then ran over to Bree as Adam picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and carried her back to the chair.

"You know, technically speaking, your bionics are working..." Dad said but this just made Bree glare at him.

"You call this working?!" Bree asked in annoyance, except her voice was different. It sounded deeper and scarier.

"I can't control my vocal manipulation! I can't control anything!" Bree yelled and this time her voice sounded like a chimpunk.

"I'm so close. It just needs a few tweaks!" Dad said as he wrapped the brace around her neck.

Chase had pulled Adam to a side while me and Leo stood next to dad as he was fixing up a few things in her chip.

"No offense, Big D, but if your brother's the one that created her original chip, then maybe we should just call him--" Leo started but dad immediately cut him off.

"No! Forget about it! I never want to see that waste of space again" Dad said while shaking his head.

"But he's our only hope, and he's not all bad. He did save us from Krane" Chase said and Adam nodded.

"Yeah dad, he could help us" I said but dad shook his head.

"Yeah and you know what else he did? He blew up the lab, kidnapped you, and stole all my money" Dad said in anger.

"All I'm hearing is adventure and excitement" Adam shrugged and I snorted.

"Look, I do not need any help from Douglas. I will fix this, okay? Give me a little credit. I happen to be a tech genius" Dad said as he took the brace off of Bree.

She then stood up and walked over to the other side of the lab.

"Okay. Let's give it another go" Dad said and we all nodded.

Bree closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she reopened them.

She then superspeeded backwards and crashed into a few objects, making all of us cringe.

"Oh, Mr. Davenport, you are not good at your job" Adam grinned.

Dad glared at him while I rolled my eyes as we all ran over to Bree.

A Few Hours Later

Chase and Adam had left upstairs to do something that I don't know what.

Me, Leo, Bree and dad were in the lab as dad was trying his best to fix Bree's chip, though I can see he was having trouble with it.

Leo was literally hovering over dad while he was working while I just stood off to the side as he worked.

"Did you try--?" Leo asked but dad cut him off.

"Yes, I tried that" Dad said as he went back to working.

"Maybe you--" Leo started but he quickly got cut off by dad.

"Maybe you should stand over there so that your peanut butter breath wouldn't distract me and I could think!" Dad angrily snapped at him.

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

Dad continued fixing the chip but the chip soon sparked and shocked dad who jumped back in surprise.

"Ow!" Dad yelled before he dropped the stuff on the table in annoyance.

"You know what? I need a break. That's it! I just need a break! That's all. Whoo! Break time!" Dad yelled with an annoyed smile on his face as he walked out of the room to relax himself.

"Wow, I have never seen him like this" Bree said and I nodded.

"I have. Remember last Christmas when he gained two pounds?" Leo asked.

My eyes widened as I nodded in realization.

"Oh yeah. Those fluffy sweaters weren't fooling anybody" I said while giggling as Leo nodded.

"I'm scared, Leo and Luna. What if he can't fix my chip? I had a gift and then I just threw it away. By destroying that chip, I destroyed our team" Bree said in sadness.

I frowned as she sighed and walked away.

I then looked over to Leo who sighed and looked at his phone.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

He raised his hand to stop me as he looked at his phone before looking back at me.

"Quick, you're going to geo-leap us to this park" Leo said as he showed me his phone to the location of the park.

"What, why?" I asked in confusion.

"Because that's where Douglas is, and we're going to find him and ask him for his help" Leo said.

My eyes widened in shock as I stared at him in disbelief.

"Leo are you crazy? Dad specifically said we aren't supposed to contact Douglas because he still doesn't trust him" I said.

"Yes I know that, but if he built Bree's chip then he can fix it too. He's the only one that can help us" Leo said.

"Leo we still can't ask him for his help" I said but he shook his head.

"Yes we do, he's the only one at the moment that can help. He can fix Bree's chip and she can get her bionics back. If we don't find him and ask him for help Bree may never be bionic again" Leo explained.

I opened my mouth to say something but closed it and sighed in annoyance because he was right.

Dad said that Douglas made the chip, not him.

Douglas is literally the only one that can help us.

"Alright fine, grab on" I said while holding out my hand for him.

He smiles and grabs my hand and soon I geo-leaped us to the park Leo had shown me.

Once we were there we saw an old lady by a food cart as me and Leo walked over to her.

"Excuse me, ma'am. We're looking for a guy named Douglas. Have you seen him? Short, creepy, porky-pine hair" Leo asked and I nodded.

"I wouldn't call it porky-pine hair!" the old lady said, which made me and Leo confused.

Then she touches the side of her neck and my eyes widened when the old lady turned into Douglas.

"It's more like a spiky lions mane" Douglas grinned.

"Douglas? You can be anybody with that cyber-mask, why would you go with... that?" I asked and Leo nodded.

"Two reasons. Hides me from Krane, and... scares the pigeons away" Douglas said as he threw out something and we followed him.

"How did you two find me?" Douglas asked.

I raised my hands up in surrender while pointing to Leo who just rolled his eyes at me.

"Well, I could make up an impressive story about a high-tech satellite search thing, narrowed down your exact coordinates, but the truth is... you butt-dialed me" Leo shrugged.

Douglas just nodded while I scoffed.

"Look. We need your help. Bree wrecked her chip" Leo said and Douglas's eyes widened.

"She what? It took me years to perfect that thing!" Douglas yelled in shock.

"Yeah well it took her fucking 3 seconds to destroy it" I deadpanned and Leo nodded.

"The bigger problem is, Big D can't fix it" Leo said.

"Of course he can't. I win again!" Douglas grinned while laughing. 

"Oh, I can't wait to shove his face in this one" Douglas grinned while laughing even more, which made me scoff and roll my eyes.

"It's not about you beating my dad, he doesn't even know we're here" I said and Leo nodded.

"But we had no other choice, you're the only one who can help Bree" Leo said.

"I wish I could, Leo, but I don't even have a lab anymore" Douglas shrugged.

"We'll sneak you into ours while Big D's out" Leo said and I nodded.

"I don't know" Douglas said, still unsure.

"Please? Dad?" Leo said.

Me and Douglas looked at him weirdly.

"He's not your dad you idiot" I said and Douglas nodded.

"Well, he's everybody else's dad! I thought it might work!" Leo defended while I rolled my eyes.

"Look, now is not the time for egos or grudges, Bree's my sister, and I have to fix this! She needs your help" Leo said I nodded.

Douglas sighed but nodded.

"Okay" Douglas said as he pressed the side of his neck and turned back into the old lady.

"Guess I'll just have to be the bigger man" Douglas said in the old lady body as he started pushing his cart around and walked away.

Me and Leo looked at each other before sighing and following behind him.

I know I'm betraying dad by doing this since he specifically said not to contact Douglas, but right now he's the only one that can help.

Back At Home
In The Lab

We were back in the lab as Douglas was working by the cyberdesk with me standing near him and Leo eating something from his food cart.

"Big D's gonna be back any minute. Do something!" Leo yelled.

Douglas stopped what he was doing and glared at him.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear ya. Could you say it a little louder?!" Douglas sarcastically yelled as he continued typing on the console.

"There. It's as close to the original design as I can get" Douglas said.

"It's better then nothing" I sighed.

"If your micro chips are as good as your pita chips, I think we're in good shape" Leo grinned as he continued eating.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

Soon Bree walked in and when she saw Douglas her eyes widened.

"Leo, Luna, what is he doing here?" Bree asked.

"It's okay. We brought him. He's the only one who can help you" Leo said and I nodded.

"I don't know about this" Bree said, still unsure.

"We don't have a choice. Do you wanna be bionic or not?" I asked.

She sighed and nodded as I smiled and nodded back.

Soon we heard a bing and turned around to see it came from the chip fabricator.

"Ah, chip's ready if you are" Douglas said as he took her chip out of the fabricator before he sniffed it.

"Why does it smell like pepperoni?" Douglas asked.

"Adam" I sighed while he nodded in understanding.

"Okay, fine. But this better work" Bree said and me and Leo nodded.

She sighed and walked over to Douglas and she was about to take the chip before stopping to look at him.

"Wait. You're not gonna, like, turn me evil, are you?" Bree asked.

"I already tried. Didn't take" Douglas sighed.

Bree gave him a sarcastic smile before taking the chip from him and going to her capsule.

"Don't worry, Bree. I think we can trust him. What bad guy makes baba ghanoush this good?" Leo grinned as he continued eating.

I just scoffed and crossed my arms as Douglas walked over to the cyberdesk and started typing.

"Got a really good feeling about this" Douglas grinned and I nodded.

He pressed a few more buttons before Bree's chip was in her neck and she stepped out of her capsule.

Bree smiled along with Douglas as she walked over to us.

"Okay, go ahead. Test it out" Douglas said.

Bree smiled and nodded as she stood straight.

Then she started superspeeding the way she did before she destroyed her chip.

Mine and Leo's eyes widened as we smiled and looked at Douglas.

"Yes! You did it!" Leo grinned as him and Douglas high-fived each other.

"Nice job, you aren't as useless as I thought you were" I smirked while patting his back.

"Uh...thanks, I think" Douglas said while I rolled my eyes.

"I can't stop!" Bree yelled as she superspeeded into the lab before superspeeding back in.

My eyes widened along with Leo's as we looked at Douglas.

"What's going on? Why can't she stop?" I asked Douglas who looked a bit confused yet shocked too.

"I thought you knew what you were doing!" Leo yelled at Douglas.

"I'm a little rusty, okay?" Douglas snapped at him as I sighed in annoyance.

Then we heard footsteps and when we turned around my eyes widened as dad walked into the lab but stopped when he saw Douglas.

"How did he get in here?" Dad asked while glaring at Douglas.

Me and Leo looked at each other before sighing and looking back at dad.

"Me and Leo let him in" I said.

This made dad's eyes widened as he stared at both of us in shock and betrayal.

"But...before you get mad, you've got to taste this" Leo said while holding his food out to him.

Dad looked at him before looking back at the food cart then back to us.

"Help me!" Bree yelled as she superspeeded in then out of the lab.

"I specifically told you not to contact him. How could you two betray me?" Dad asked.

"Hey, in my defense...I'm just a little boy" Leo said while trying to act innocent.

I glared at him and smacked him upside the head as dad turned to me and pointed a finger at me.

"Pumpkin how could you do this? I expected this from Leo, but not you" Dad said in slight anger.

"Dad I'm sorry ok, I didn't want to in the beginning but Leo talked me into it. And he was the only one that could help since he created her chip in the first place" I defended.

Dad just sighed and shook his head at me.

Douglas then came to mine and Leo's defense.

"Oh, lay off the kids. They were just trying to help" Douglas said and we nodded.

"Help her?" Dad scoffed as he started walking towards Douglas as he started moving back while holding his hands up in surrender.

"She's worse off than she was before. I was this close to fixing this" Dad said but this just made Douglas scoffed as they both stopped walking.

"I saw our chip. You were not close" Douglas said in a mocking tone.

"You were not close" Dad mocked back at him.

Soon those two started bickering like 5 year old kids and it's fair to say that both me and Leo were annoyed.

"Do something!" Bree yelled as she superspeeded back into the lab before once again superspeeding out.

Douglas and dad stopped bickering before looking at the direction Bree superspeeded out.

"Bree, do you mind? The adults are trying to have a conversation" Dad said and Douglas nodded.

Me and Leo gave them both a look of annoyance.

"What adults? Because all I'm seeing right now are two old immature children" I scoffed while glaring at them.

This made Leo snort while both dad and Douglas gave me an offended look.

"Is she always this mean?" Douglas asked.

"When she wants to" I shrugged while smirking as I flipped my hair.

He just rolled his eyes but nodded.

"We're never gonna be able to fix that chip unless we can get Bree to stay in one place" Dad said and I nodded.

"Well, how are we supposed to stop someone running at the speed of sound?" Leo asked.

"Spike strip?" Douglas suggested as he snapped his fingers.

This made dad let out a sarcastic laugh as he turned to Douglas.

"Sure, why not? It worked for Wile E. Coyote" Dad sarcastically said as Douglas glared at him.

"Help!" Bree yelled as she superspeeded in the lab before superspeeding out.

"Look, maybe we can construct some sort of giant air bag" Dad said.

"Oh, yeah, 'cause that's not cartoony at all" Douglas sarcastically said as he raised his hands up in the air.

This made dad annoyed as he turned around and gave Douglas a sarcastic smile.

"Spike strip-- where'd you get that idea, your hair?" Dad asked.

"Where'd you get the air bag idea-- your belly?" Douglas asked while pointing to dad's belly as dad gasped.

This made me let out a small giggle before covering my mouth so dad wouldn't hear me.

"I'll have you know I lost that Christmas weight--" Dad started but got cut off by me since an idea came into my head.

"Ballistic gel!" I yelled with a small smile.

Dad stopped what he was doing as him and Douglas looked at me.

"What?" dad and Douglas asked.

"You know, the gel that forensics labs use to test firearms" I said as Leo's eyes widened and nodded as he soon caught on to what I was saying.

"That's not a bad idea" Dad said as Douglas gave him an annoyed look.

"I thought it wasn't a bad idea before you did" Douglas said as dad turned to look at him.

"Spike strip" Dad scoffed.

"Air bag" Douglas scoffed back.

"Would you two shut the fuck up!" I snapped at them while smacking both of them upside their heads.

They both winced in pain while rubbing their heads.

"Why are you so mean?" Douglas asked.

I just scoffed and shrugged.

A few minutes later Leo had managed to get some ballistic gel and was putting some on the ground so we could catch Bree with it.

"Okay, it's set. Next time she runs through here, she'll get stuck in there like a rat" Leo said.

We all nodded and took a few steps back.

Soon Bree superspeeded back into the lab but her feet then got caught in the gel and she was now trapped.

"Yes!" Bree smiled along with the rest of us.

"It worked!" Leo said and I nodded as the both of us high-fived.

"I know, I'm a genius" dad and Douglas both said together before turning to each other and glaring before turning back to us.

"I'm a genius" dad and Douglas both whispered to us.

I really can't handle another Davenport, dad is already enough.

We had managed to get Bree into a large harness that looked like a baby jumper. Her legs were above the ground as they were moving really fast ebcause of her superspeed.

Dad and Douglas were still trying to find a solution to the problem but nothing was working and we're running out of time.

"Can someone please do something!?" Bree asked.

She was sweating so much right now and she looked ready to pass out.

"Her heart rate's at 200 and rising, and while I'm not a doctor, I feel that's unsafe" Leo said as he looked at the tablet.

"No shit sherlock" I scoffed in annoyance yet worry fro my best friend, aka my sister.

"This is all your fault! You overloaded her chip!" Dad yelled at Douglas while Douglas gave him an annoyed look.

"My fault? It was your chip I was trying to fix, which was flawed, much like your original nose" Douglas scoffed.

Dad gasped in offence while I snorted and shook my head.

As annoying as they are they can be funny when they want to be.

"Get...this chip...out of me!" Bree yelled in annoyance.

"We can't remove your chip while your bionics are in use, but we can program it wirelessly with this" Dad said.

Dad quickly ran over to her and attached some sort of white box on the back of her neck before running back to the cyberdesk.

"Hurry, she's redlining! If we don't do something, her heart could--" Leo started but got cut off by Bree.

"My heart could what?!" Bree yelled.

Leo looked at her for a second before looking at us.

"What's another word for 'explode'?" Leo asked.

My eyes widened in fear as I looked at Bree to see that she was scared as well.

"I'll enable a diagnostic app that will help us isolate problem areas in the code" Dad said.

"We don't have time for that. I'll fix the code" Douglas said as he pushed dad away from the cyberdesk.

"Oh, you've fixed enough, I've got it" Dad said in annoyance as he pushed Douglas away.

"Oh no, what's wrong with her head?!" Douglas gasped.

This made dad and Leo gasp and turn around, except me because I knew what he was trying to do.

He then pushes dad away and starts typing while dad turned back around and those two started fighting.

I swear I'm going to beat them both up later because this is getting annoying.

"Would you two fucking stop!" I yelled in annoyance and anger and they were quick to stop fighting.

"We're running out of time!" Leo yelled and I nodded while running my hands through my hair.

"Wait... This line of code hasn't been debugged!" Douglas said and I furrowed my eyebrows at him in confusion.

"That's why her neural array keeps re-indexing" Dad nodded.

Once again I looked at them in confusion, along with Leo.

"What does that mean?!" Leo yelled in annoyance.

"I solved the problem!" dad and Douglas both yelled as they started typing and this time they weren't fighting.

"Complex asterisk B equals no, value equals 1!" dad and Douglas both said together.

"Here it goes" Dad said as both him and Douglas nodded before pushing a button together.

Soon we look back over to Bree to see her legs starting to slow down and soon they were back to normal.

I smiled along with Leo as we looked at the tablet to see her heart rate going back to normal.

"Yes! Her heart rate's going down. It's headed for normal" Leo smiled as me and him ran over to Bree.

"Yay..!" Bree said in an exhausted voice.

Soon dad and Douglas both shook each other hands while grinning and started doing a weird dance together.

"I wish my heart exploded before I saw that" Bree deadpanned.

"You and me both" I said while Leo nodded in agreement.

Back Upstairs

We managed to get Bree out of the harness and I was helping her walk since her legs were still a bit numb after what happened.

But the most important thing is that she got her bionics back.

Bree hid herself somewhere while me and Leo were sitting on the couch, waiting for Adam and Chase to get home so we can tell them the great news.

Well, Bree wants to show them in person that's why she's hiding.

Soon the door opened and Adam and Chase walked in.

Me and Leo smiled and stood up from the couch.

"Hey, guys, guess what?" Leo asked.

Before either of them could answer Bree superspeeded into the living room, causing Leo to scream while I smirked.

"I'm back, losers" Bree smiled.

Adam and Chase's eyes widened as Chase smiled.

"You got your speed back!" Chase said before bringing her into a hug, making me smile.

"Well, that's uh, too bad, 'cause we already moved on" Adam said while sniffing.

Me, Bree and Leo looked confused and looked at Chase who just sighed and shook his head.

Soon dad and Douglas walked in.

"Hey boys" Douglas smiled as they walked over to us.

Chase and Adam both looked shocked yet confused as Chase wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Douglas? What's going on?" Chase asked.

"He fixed her chip" I said and Leo nodded.

Douglas smiled but shook his head as he pointed to himself and dad.

"Actually, we fixed her chip. That's right. The Davenport boys, together again" Douglas said.

Me and the others smiled as well.

But when I looked at dad my smiled faded when I saw the look on his face.

"Yeah, not quite. Look, I'm grateful for your help, and I couldn't have done it without you, but I can't forgive you for what you've done to this family. You should go" Dad said.

"Oh" Douglas said as he nodded a little.

"Dad come on, you can't be serious" I said and Chase nodded.

"You can't throw your own brother out on the street" Chase said and I nodded while Adam gave him a look.

"Why not? I'd do it to you" Adam said and I glared at him while smacking his arm.

"He's tried to hurt us too many times" Dad said while shaking his head.

"But he's also saved our lives. Twice" Bree said and I nodded.

"Plus, dude can cook" Leo said, making Douglas look at him.

"Speaking of, you've eaten 60 bucks worth of my food. Pay up" Douglas said while holding ut his hand.

Leo looked at him before pointing at the door.

"You heard the man. Out!" Leo yelled, making me glare at him and smack him upside the head.

"Come on, Mr. Davenport, let the guy stay" Adam said.

"Give him a chance" Chase said.

"This isn't fair" Bree said.

Before I could speak as well Douglas stopped us.

"Guys, it's okay. He's right. I messed up. I'll see ya around" Douglas reassured us.

He gave us one last small smile before walking out the door.

It was silent for a few seconds before I shook my head and started walking towards the door.

"Sweetheart, where are you going?" Chase asked.

"I'll be right back" I said as I quickly opened the door and shut it.

I quickly ran to catch up with Douglas.

Luckily he still hadn't left the house so I ran over to him.

"Douglas! Douglas wait!" I yelled, trying to get his attention.

He must've heard me as he turned around and his eyes slightly widened in shock as I walked over to him.

"Luna, what are you doing here?" Douglas asked.

"I just had to talk to you. Look, I know that we got off on the wrong foot in the beginning. Yes, I hated you in the beginning but that was only because you were evil and just filled with jealously and revenge after what dad did. I want you to know that I forgive you for what you did, and I hope we can start over" I explained with a small smile.

He looked at me in shock, clearly shocked that I would actually forgive him.

Then his snapped out of his shocked state and sent me a small smile with a nod.

"Thank you Luna, that means alot" Douglas said.

I smiled at him and nodded.

Then I walked towards him, wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him while laying my head on his shoulder.

I could tell that he was shocked that I was hugging him.

But he slowly wrapped his arms around me and hugged me back.

"Give dad time to forgive you, and when he has you two will go back to being brothers" I whispered.

He let out a small chuckle and nodded.

"I will, thank you" Douglas whispered back.

We pulled away from the hug as I placed a gentle kiss to his cheek.

He, once again, looked shocked that I did that but let a smile appear on his face.

"When dad is ready to forgive you and he's willing to let you live with us, I hope we get to spend time together as uncle and neice" I smiled.

Douglas smiled and nodded as he kissed my forehead.

"You're a good kid Luna. You have a heart of gold" Douglas said.

I smiled at him and nodded.

"I've gotta get going, but hopefully we see each other soon" Douglas said and I nodded.

"I hope so too. Goodbye Douglas" I said.

"Goodbye Luna" Douglas smiled before walking away.

I smiled and sighed as I turned around to head back inside.

The Next Day

Alright, so it turns out that the others managed to talk dad into letting Douglas live with us and he actually said yes.

Apparently he said that everyone deserves a second chance and that includes Douglas as well, so right now we're all headed to the park to meet him.

Once we got there we saw the same old lady from yesterday.

Must be Douglas hiding in a cybermask.

"Hey, Douglas" Leo smiled as we walked over to him.

"I don't think that's Douglas" Chase said and Adam nodded.

"Yeah, she has much bigger hands" Adam said and I snorted.

"Trust me, guys. This is no lady" Leo said and I nodded.

He then tried reaching for the back of his neck to take the cybermaskoff but he got shoved away.

"Get off me!" the old lady yelled in annoyance.

My eyes widened as I realized that this was an actual old lady.

"Wait, Leo I don't think-" I started but he cut me off.

"Come on, Douglas. Ditch the mask" Leo said as he went back to her neck to try and get hte 'cybermask' off.

"Where's the button on this thing?" Leo asked as he continued poking her neck.

Before I could stop him the old lady grabbed his wrist and picked up some tongs and glared at him.

"I'm warning you, kid. Stop poking me, or you're gonna meet the wrong end of these tongs" the old lady warned him.

Leo gulped in fear while I quietly giggled.

Then all of a sudden Douglas pops up from behind a bush.

"It's okay, Greta. They're with me" Douglas reassured this Greta lady.

"Aaah!" Leo yelled as he looked at Douglas before looking back at Greta.

"So that's Douglas?" Leo asked.

"Uh-huh" Greta nodded.

"And you're a real lady?" Leo asked, making Greta glare at him in annoyance.

"Uh-huh!" Greta nodded.

Leo nodded before turning to look at us with fear in his eyes.

"Help me!" Leo yelled at us.

We all sighed and rolled our eyes at him and motioned him to come over to us.

He walked back over to us as Greta walked away while Douglas walked over to us with his arms crossed.

"What are you guys doing here?" Douglas asked.

We all looked over at dad to see him looking nervous.

"Uh, we...we're going on a family job. You know, Leo gets winded on the last mile, so we all have to carry him. Can't go alone. Bye" Dad said.

He then tried walking away but we all stopped him before he could leave.

"Oh, no, you don't" I said as we all shoved him back to where Douglas was.

Dad sighed in annoyance but nodded.

"Okay, I may have been a little harsh yesterday" Dad said but Douglas gave him a look.

"A little?" Douglas asked but I just sighed and shook my head at him.

"Don't push it. You're sleeping in a bush" I said and the others nodded.

Douglas sighed and nodded before looking back at dad.

"Continue" Douglas said and dad nodded.

"I realize that everybody deserves a second chance. Even you. So as soon as you apologize for all the things you've done to hurt our family...and say that I'm better than you" Dad said, while whispering that last part.

This just made us sigh and shake our heads at him before he continued.

"Maybe you can come stay with us for a while. If you don't want to, you don't have to" Dad said as he was about to walk away but Douglas stopped him.

"No, no, it's...clear that you need me. So...I'm sorry. And thank you" Douglas said.

Dad gave him a small smile and nodded.

"Now let's go home" Douglas smiled.

We all smiled and silently cheered together as I laid my head on Chase's shoulder as he kissed my temple and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Okay. I only brought the motorcycle, so you're gonna have to ride on back" Dad said but Douglas shook his head.

"That's okay. I'll just drive it" Douglas said, but this made dad scoff and shake his head.

"Drive my motorcycle? I don't think so. Everybody knows the big guys rides in front" Dad said.

"Oh dear lord" I muttered under my breath in annoyance, already knowing what's going to happen.

"I'm not just sitting there with my arms wrapped around you" Dogulas said in annoyance.

"I'm not crazy about it myself" Dad scoffed.

"I'm not touching your tummy!" Douglas yelled in annoyance.

Soon him and dad started arguing with one another as they walked away from us.

"Wow! So immature" Chase scoffed.

"Yeah. Who acts like that?" Adam asked while scoffing.

Me, Bree and Leo just rolled our eyes at them while smiling as we walked away to catch up with dad and Douglas.
