A beautiful soul lost in the sea of masses,
I see you hide behind rose-tinted glasses.

The brave facade throw them off balance
You show no fear, yet keeping the distance.
Following suit others come by your side,
No longer in silence, nor willing to hide.

That is the day when all knew your name,
Reveling yourself, their courage to claim.
A memory forever inked, cause in the end,
It was the day you met your first best friend.

Your actions brought so many together,
Open-minded to work hard and do better.
No one's left out with kindness embraced
Unique in every color a rainbow is traced.

I see the same girl sometimes in present,
With books reading at her heart's content.
No longer lost and silenced in the crowd,
Chrysalis gone and you're light as a cloud,
A butterfly on wings of hope ready to fly,
