2.) #1 Nuance

Fucking Namikaze. Are you kidding me! Out of all the high schools how the hell did he get into this one? The confrontation has only left my mood even sourer than it was when I arrived. Thankfully Hinata is in my next class.

I trail behind Hinata and a girl named Sakura as they make their way through the busy hall way. We all have Algebra one together, though I'm pretty sure I have Hinata to thank for my high math scores. I find myself watching Sakura's skirt swing as she walks. Whoa hold on why am I staring at her ass? I shake my head and raise my gaze.

The two girls enter the classroom so I stop for second. What the hell was that, I have never looked at any girl that way. She's Hinata's best friend from school so that's completely off limits. Who am I kidding though, in the beginning, I thought about Hinata like that to. It became crystal clear that she only had eyes for that Namikaze joker though.

I clench my fists in annoyance. That moron managed to get into the Academy as well. I thought for sure I wouldn't have to deal with his insane obsession to outdo me. Apparently I have to endure four more years of his crap. I sigh heavily trying to clear my mind and head into the classroom.

"Kiba!" I hear Hinata's soft voice call from across the room, her hand raised letting me know where she is.

I smile my wolfish smile and head on over to her, trying to put my annoyance to the side. "Hey! Thanks by the way." I wink at her. We both know it's because of her that I'm even here. No really, if she hadn't given be all the answers I would have never passed the entrance exams.

Hinata shakes her head. "No problem Kiba, really." She says softly.

"So," Sakura starts eyeing me, "what's with the whole yelling match with you and Naruto?" She asks with a smirk, raising an eyebrow at me.

I find myself clenching my fists and I stretch out my fingers. "That moron? He's the one with the problem not me." I grumble.

Sakura chuckles and shrugs. "If you say so."

I find myself watching Sakura as she takes her text book from her bag, placing it on her desk. Her hair falls around her shoulders in waves that remind me of bubble gum. I have never officially met Sakura, though I know more about her than I'm sure she's aware of.

Hinata and I grew up in the same neighborhood, so we formed a friendship quickly. I went to school on our side of town while Hinata was forced to go to the more prestigious school on the other side of town. That's where she met Sakura.

I know that her parents are both in the medical field and that she lives on the other side of town. I also know more random facts like she's an only child, her favorite color is red, she likes movies, and she's smarter than Hinata.

Seeing her in person though I'm shocked that the picture I had in my head is nowhere near how she really looks. For some reason I thought she had glasses.

"Don't you think it's strange that Sasuke hasn't really kissed you today?" I hear a female voice sneer from behind me. I know that voice all too well, it belongs to Ino Yamanaka, the blonde haired brat that lives down the street from my family.

Sakura pays no attention to her, facing forward and waiting for the bell to ring. I really wish that Ino would stop there, I'm really not in the mood to listen to her bullying, but of course she doesn't.

"I mean seriously. He was all over you last year. Maybe he's gotten tired of you." Ino continues to taunt quietly so that only Sakura, Hinata and I can hear.

I watch as Sakura continues to ignore her. If it were me in her shoes I would have smacked Ino by now, then again growing up with her down the street probably attributes to my intolerance towards her.

"I heard that he hooked up with that second year Karin over the summer. I'm sure if you think about it you will know exactly when that was." Ino muses like she's talking to herself.

Okay now I'm pissed rather than annoyed. Living on the same street as Ino I tend to fly off the handle with her more easily than others. "You need to shut the fuck up before I hit you." I growl looking over at Ino and pegging her with a glare.

Ino shrugs. "Oh come on Kiba, I was just saying." She says with one of her fake playful smiles.

"Then stop saying." I retort glaring at her for a bit longer. The bell rings and I face forward. Girls like that really should be hit in the face. Don't get me wrong I would never hit a girl, but they don't know that. I pull out my text book and flip it open waiting for the the teachers next instruction.

Class is over before I know it and everyone is packing up their books so they can head to their next class. I fold my arms behind my head as I wait for the girls to finish packing up. "High school isn't as bad as Hana made it out to be right Hinata?" I tease with a wolfish grin.

I want to lighten the mood, after all it is the first day of school and someone like Ino shouldn't be allowed to ruin it. I can see I'm not getting anywhere though. Hinata nods at me. "Nope not at all." She says looking at Sakura. "Don't listen to her Sakura, she's just jealous."

Sakura nods and then smiles. "I know I shouldn't. Besides how could she know how Sasuke and I are doing?" She says cheerfully.

I nod in agreement. I have no idea what happened between her and Ino but Hinata's words are true, she shouldn't listen to her. I throw my arms over both Hinata and Sakura's shoulders as we walk out. "If that bitch says another word, just tell me, I'll pound her face in." I declare with a grin.

Hinata gasps. "Oh Kiba please don't. You would be thrown out for sure!" She pleads.

Sakura laughs along with me at Hinata's response to my declaration. Better to laugh it off then state how serious I really am. Ino is one girl that I would seriously think about hitting but Hinata would never approve of me fighting.
