"Who are you?" Wyatt asked, staring at the stranger Pokémon randomly coming up to attack his Pokémon. Froslass glared and struck his Weavile with an ice beam, only to miss by an inch and made a direct hit on its hands, freezing them. It slammed its hands against the floor, breaking the ice and injuring itself

"Fros! Frost!" Litwick popped out of nowhere and floated in the middle of the battlefield like it lost control of its levitation

"I don't have time for this... Step aside, or you'll get hurt" Wyatt's calm expression and intimidating eyes made Froslass float backwards like she was nervous

"Weav!" Weavile shouted, making the few people around them move away from the serious battle. Litwick floated over to Froslass, greeting her all happily

"I don't know what made you attack us. I have never seen you before. You don't have any connections with Crystal, do you?" Froslass didn't respond "Doesn't matter... I don't know where she is, but I'm going to find her" he glared, turning around to leave

Crystal leaned on her knees, exhausted from all the running she was never used to doing "Was that that Wyatt guy's Weavile? Do you think he was near?"

"It seemed like it... Is Froslass still trying to distract him..?" She jumped up to a tree and climbed to a branch without him noticing

"Not sure, she just went all out on that Weavile out of nowhere" he looked around for her "Wait, where did you go?" Liking to play hide and seek, she laid there and watched him starting to look for her "Hey! Where are you?" She stared at him starting to freak out "oh no... Did Team Victoria take her without me noticing?"

"Is he that stupid?" She questioned herself. Froslass appeared in front of him

"Whoa! You're back" she nodded "Did you run that guy out? I never got the chance to look at him" Froslass peaked up at the tree where Crystal was hiding.

The girls flinched when footsteps approached. Wyatt walked towards West with an angry look on his face. This terrified the two trainers who aimed to avoid him in the first place

"So you're the owner of this Pokémon?" Froslass hid behind West

"W-Well..."

"Idiot! Why would you suddenly attack me for no reason!? Don't you know who I am?!" He didn't think this would be Wyatt, but taking that Froslass attacked him...

"No..?" He lied

"Exactly! Don't go attacking people you don't know! I have important matters to attend to and I don't need you or anyone slowing me down!" West gulped, seeing the look in the guy's eyes. He's seen those before... on Crystal. The same blue eyes... and they gave off that same serious expression she showed all the time, especially back in the shrine. Crystal can clearly see the anger in his eyes as well. It's been so long since seeing that...

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do it! This Froslass isn't really mine! I swear!" Crystal sighed and leaned on the tree trunk, wondering how long this will take before Wyatt snaps even more.

His Litwick would always be on his head at most times to calm him down, but it wasn't anywhere in sight. Cleffa jumped from Crystal's shoulder and landed on West. Wyatt questioned where it came from, but didn't bother looking up

"Then why the hell-" he took a deep breath "Forgive me" he went back to his calm state "I'm in a bit of a panic... I quickly blamed you even if you said this Pokémon isn't yours" he bowed "My name is Wyatt Hiyori. I am in the middle of a search for my patient. Her name is Crystal" and there goes the names...

"I... never heard of it" West said nervously and honestly. So her name is Crystal. Cleffa tilted it's head confused, staring at Wyatt's eyes, cheering and jumped on his face to hug. Crystal nearly fell off the branch "C-Cleffa!" West gasped and pulled it away "I'm so sorry!" Wyatt sighed

"It is alright" Litwick appeared from out of the blue once again and floated over to where it knew Crystal was. Crystal reached out for it and covered its mouth just in case "This patient of mine is in need of medical attention. She has a very unique condition that can cause her her death if not properly taken care of" West flinched "She has blue hair, blue eyes, 5 and a half feet tall, and owns a Castform and Dewgong. If you ever see anyone who looks like this, please let me know. Here's my card" he handed a card with his doctor name and graduate school "I'll take my leave. We might see each other again"

"Right... Sure!" Wyatt nodded and turned around to leave

"Oh, may I ask for your name?"

"Yes. My name is Westly Kimana" Wyatt snorted, holding his laughter "What's so funny?"

"I should have asked for your name to begin with" he took the card back "You won't be able to help me then. I should know better. Good day" he left back to Everest Town. West stood there stunned, turning to the side to see Crystal standing there

"So... That's your doctor?"

"Yes"

"He looks too young to be a doctor" she nodded "He seems scary... Why did he laugh when I told him my name?" She smirked a little

"I think it's better if you didn't know yet" she took a deep breath "Don't worry. You'll know why soon enough. Let's get through this journey quickly" she lifted her hood and looked at Litwick "Keep him away long enough to let me see my family, okay?" Litwick nodded happily and floated away

"Crystal..." West gulped, saying her name for the first time "He seems scary" he repeated "Are you sure you want to avoid someone like him? He's serious about your health. I knew you were sensitive, but not to the point where it can cause your death. I don't want that happening to you"

"And it won't. I've been fine for this long. He gave me the medicine that can keep my body stable" she showed her bag "As long as I have these for the past number of weeks, I'm going to be okay" she held his cheek when he looked down "This is my decision, not yours"

"Fine... I'll take care of you ten times more than I promised then" he grinned "Count on me, please?"

"I will... Thanks. So what happened?" She asked Froslass. Froslass looked down with a frown "You ran away from him... Why?" She floated off without answering "Right. Anyways... Let's head to the next town. By walking, right?" West nodded quickly

"Yeah! It'll be a better journey if we see it all! We can't leave yet though" Crystal took out her magazine "I still have to show you the view in Hana Village at the spot" she walked past him

"No time... Wyatt just left. It'll be a matter of time before I get caught. We can do that at the end" they made it back to Hana Village and headed to the route pass it

"Do you want to really wait that long?"

"I rather see my family" he looked straight ahead

"Make sense... Where do you want to head off to first?" She looked through her map, spotting the closest town where she knew one of her sisters ran a gym

"Summerlight City"

"No way! That was one of my destinations after I take the train to Frost Town" Crystal froze, making him stop and question her sudden pause

"Sorry uh... What exactly is this journey for again?" He smiled, standing tall

"I don't know if you know of the story of the Otashi family and the Kimana family, do you?" He rubbed the back of his neck "Not many people know and since you've been living under a rock, I suppose you wouldn't" Crystal held her chin, amused

"Do tell"

"For generations, maybe even centuries, my family had tried getting back at the Otashi family for embarrassing us. They always think they're the best because they run the Pokémon league. Rhea was the next generation to represent my family's name, and she was so close too!" He showed his fist, glaring at the sky "That was until the last gym leader completely... that little- She dared to humiliate my sister by stating that her hard work was for nothing, that the other gym leaders only let her pass so that girl can tell her off. She wouldn't even let Rhea battle..." Crystal stared at his fist shaking "I wanted to give her a piece of my mind as soon as Rhea came back home, and that was the same day I found you" he calmed down and looked down at her "I didn't want you seeing me like that... Sorry"

"You have that much hate towards them, don't you?"

"More than you know... I later figured that I would embarrass myself if I don't train up. I can't just go there without any strength. That woman would embarrass us even more. So I thought it would be better to start from the first gym... in Summerlight city! Since you want to go there, I'm taken that you wanted to challenge the gym too?" She closed her eyes

"I want nothing to do with Pokémon gyms" which was true. She was forced to be a gym leader, even if she was excellent at being one for the most part "It so happens that there was a gym there"

"I get you" she giggled and walked pass him "What's so funny?"

"Oh, nothing... I just thought of something funny" her passion was to disappoint others, and she can't wait to see what the outcome would look like if he ever found out who she was. Talking about the woman who embarrassed Rhea, he was supposedly going to give her a piece of his mind

Walking through the next town that was only a few miles before Summerlight City, West kept yelling at Crystal from the tall grass asking to slow down and to stop so he can start training and maybe catch a Pokémon or two

"No time" she said without taking her eyes off the magazine

"This journey is supposed to be fun!"

"Should have thought of that before you asked if you can come on this journey with me" she closed the magazine "Aren't you taking this journey for revenge?"

"Well, that... and I actually want to become champion of Kannena" he crawled out the tall grass to face her "My family can't see it, but even if we hate the Otashi family, secretly... I admire them as well" Crystal blinked confused "Aside from them being part of the Pokémon league, I notice how much they help the community. They're pretty powerful and do things for the region, unlike my family" he nervously laughed "I'm not hating on my own family. I'm just saying that I like how the Otashi family gives. I only hate them for embarrassing my family and that they think they're better than us... But I want to become champion so I can give back as well, but to also show them who they're trying to mess with" Crystal glared behind her shoulder. He wants to take her parents spot... It's a different reason than the rest of his family. Not only does he want to represent his family, but he wants to become champion to be able to do the things they can do. He doesn't have to do that since he has the title of the son of the Battle Tower champs. It's only because of her family

"So what you're saying is that you want to become the champion and not just seek revenge like Rhea?"

"That would be correct" she stared at the honesty of his eyes. Even if this goal was less selfish, there's no way she's going to let it happen. She held her hip

"The next town should be nearby" he nodded, looking over at a distance to see the next town a few feet over

"say... I seem to notice something about that Wyatt guy"

"What?"

"You guys have the same last name"

"Coincidence. It's not an uncommon name" she rolled her eyes

"And you both have blue eyes... I almost thought you two were related" she closed her eyes "Are you?"

"No..." she palmed her face "and I'll feel better if we didn't talk about him or anything at all about my life anymore" he nodded

"I understand. Aside from that, I know I said we're going to travel together, and I know this might sound a little too much... but can you help me train?"

"What, can't the son of the champion of the battle tower do it himself?"

"Of course I can! It's just that I don't want you to wait for me while I try to improve on myself... Besides, you're a pretty good trainer and why not ask you? It'll only be for training. I know how to battle"

"Fine then"

"Let's battle with your Froslass" she looked at Froslass floating there with the ice orb in hand, staring at it before eating it. It baffles Crystal on why it keeps taking it out just to eat

"Froslass isn't even mine..."

"She's not?"

"To be honest... I don't know who she is. I traveled the Frost forest because I was... lost" she took a deep breath "and voices started speaking to me to take Froslass for my protection"

"The Princess of Ice spoke to you at the Frost Forest too?" She couldn't nod without a confirmation "Wait... What were you doing in the Frost forest?" How can she say this without getting him suspicious?

"Well, I was visiting my sister working as a maid in the Frost Town gym. I went to pay a visit then head to leave during the snowstorm, that's when I met Froslass"

"So that's how you know Mrs.Brenda"

"Yeah..." she sweatdropped "and I so happen to go into the forest. What's it to you?" He raised his hands

"Nothing... I just remembered that gym leader that embarrassed my sister was living in the same castle the princess lived. It's strange how someone is living in there now" it's strange to know the princess use to live there too.

The castle was under the Otashi name for years hidden in old records not even her parents knew about. With some digging, Wyatt went behind their backs and worked some magic to place it in Crystal's name and got the castle renovated to make a comfortable environment for her to stay in

After a good few hours of training and of Crystal just sitting against a tree bark from a branch, West finally decided to call the training quits for today and walked through a town called Ona Town.

It was a cute little town that had the access of a cable car leading up to the mountain of Mt.Lightning "This is not a creative name..." Crystal said, reading a sign of what the cable car was for "it leads to Starstruck town?" She gasped. That's where one of her older sister lives, in a laboratory she runs!

"Oh yeah! That's our next destination after I defeat Summerlight city's gym leader. I think the first leader's name is Samantha" It is, and she's younger than they are. Don't let that underestimate her

"You're pretty confident, aren't you?" He laughed

"Well, I'll feel more confident if I trained more and catch more Pokémon!"

"So you really have one Pokémon?"

"I don't use my second one as much... I can show you another time if you want" she looked back at the sign

"Whatever"

"Anyway... Once I defeat Samantha, I'm going after Leah next"

"Yeah..." like it's going to be that easy. They're going to see the potential in his eyes when they meet. Even if he tells them who he is and what's his goal, they're not going to make this easy on him, not like Rhea

Samantha is a fire-type gym leader, so Crystal will have to see if this mystery Pokémon of his will do the trick on beating her. There was one thing going through her head... Will she even be able to see her sisters without West around? And if they spot her, will that give away who she is?

Even if she plans on telling him who she is at the end, or have him find out, she wants to see how long it'll take for things to turn upside down for him. He claims that the legends of the lovers is true in a way and considers her someone he has to take care of... Will he think that way in the end? She's dying to know for her amusement... or is that what she would call it?

Crystals sisters are all so great! I enjoyed giving them their own personalities and such!
