Five Spirit Life Touch: The Plan Enacted

Narrator: The Clover Kingdom... In this place where the be all end all is magic, there is one boy who can't use it. His name is Asta. His strength, desire, guts and overwhelming determination to best his childhood friends and rivals helped him become a Magic Knight. And no matter how many times he would wind up injured, Asta's relentless nature and motivation due to being alongside his brother in arms, he continues to aim straight for the top. Rich or poor, royalty or commoner, Asta himself believes anyone in this world can shine so long as they put in the hard work!

An image of Tyrus and Yuno in their Spirit Dives with their backs turned appears.

His mission has been to prove that statement true... AND TO BECOME THE WIZARD KING!

Asta, Tyrus, Noelle, Luck, Magna and Finral all stand outside of the entrance to the Black Bulls hideout. Asta gripped his hand tightly, Noelle gulped but calmed slightly after Tyrus held her hand but it was safe to say he did that since his own nerves wouldn't calm down.

Asta: It's finally time for us to go train and take the fight to Spade!

Tyrus: To make sure Heart and Clover survive and put down another devil.

Finral swallows hard remembering what his own promise to his inescapable love, Lady Finnes Calmreich, of the Royal House Kira, and his half-brother Langris Vaude, the former Vice Captain of the Golden Dawn's fiancee.

Finral: That's right! I promised I would beat out Langris, become the one worthy of Lady Finnes's love and earn my rightful spot back as the head of the House of Vaude! If I fail... it'll be all just a giant lie!

Luck: Those Spirit Guardians won't break, even if I give it my all, right?

Magna: That's what I'm hoping for! I'm gonna so wickedly strong out there, you won't even recognize me when we're done!

Luck: HAHA! Get as tough as you want Magna! I'll still be miles ahead of you!

Magna: OH HO, YOU WANNA BET, BATTLE-WHORE!

Noelle: I have to take out Megicula and avenge my mother. I'm just glad Tyrus is along for the ride, he has his own beef with that devil as well, since his father died at the hands of it, too. But first, we both have to build up our skills!

Tyrus: ALL RIGHT! LET'S..... ROAM TOGETHER AND GET STRONGER!

[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]

Everyone had arrived on time to the chambers known for housing Her Majesty to the Heart Kingdom, Loropechika.

Asta: Awesome, everyone made it!

Selene: Big Brother!

Selene Hail, the recently promoted Fourth Class Intermediate Magic Knight immediately pounces on her elder twin brother who is all but ready for the sibling affection.

Tyrus: OOF! Well hell, that's one way to greet your brother. I heard about your promotion too. Great stuff, Selene, but don't stop. You're only a few spots below me.

Mimosa: H-Hi Asta!

Leo: It's about time you got here, my rivals!

Charlotte: Training in another land. I wish Yami were here....

Mimosa: By the way, Asta and Tyrus. Yuno wanted to me give you two a message.

Tyrus: Oh? How sweet of the Stubborn Knucklehead. What'd he say, Mimosa?

Mimosa: Only.... "I'll get stronger with my squad!". It was really weird.

Tyrus: A for the effort on mocking Yuno. He's not really the most sociable person that I know of.

Noelle: Makes you wonder why he didn't want to come with us. Doesn't this go against your two's rivalry with him?

Asta: Nah... I wouldn't worry too much about Yuno. He's gonna get a whole lot better whether he trained with us or not.

Tyrus: Guess I'll just have to outdo you and him, Asta.

Gaja, a man who wasn't lost on the three Black Bulls and earlier revealed to be one of the five Spirit Guardians of Heart Kingdom legend approaches the group.

Gaja: Good I see you've all arrived and no harm has come to any of you.

Mimosa: We appreciate the invitation, Sir.

Gaja nods politely to the former exchange student but keeps the formalities at a minimum.

Gaja: Please if you all will follow me. The Queen is waiting.

Everyone falls in line with the Spirit Guardian.... and see the Queen without her robes and crown gives the new guests the wrong impression but she still speaks in a formally disciplined tone. However what Asta, Tyrus, Noelle and Finral saw made them do a double take. That thing? It was the Queen, Her Eminence, Her Radiance, feeding a rapidly swelling Charmy Pappitson various fruits while the glutton sat on her lap.

Loropechika: I see a couple of new faces that were not here previously that I had the pleasure of meeting. Esteemed guests, welcome to the Heart Kingdom. You see, under normal circumstances I would've ordered the most magnificent feast for your arrival but as you can see, I ran short on time. It truly pains me that we as a kingdom cannot offer you all more. But please accept our greetings. Is something the matter?

Tyrus: Well it's nothing really-

Mimosa: And we all know it's rude to speak out of turn but that person residing on your lap.... she's not a pet, Your Majesty.... she's a Magic Knight.

Loropechika: Why, it's Charmy, obviously!

Noelle: No, no, trust us. We know who she is!

Tyrus: But why exactly is our favorite glutton on your lap being fed freshly picked fruits and vegetables?

Charmy: Wherever snacks will be, that's where you'll find me!

Magna: Definitely sounds about level with Charmster.

Tyrus: But you're not even apart of the Spirit Guardian Training, Charmy! How'd you even sneak your way over here!?

Charlotte: Must the Black Bulls always be so insincere and unprofessional?

Mimosa: Maybe it's not such a big deal after all though, Captain Charlotte. I mean Queen Loropechika seems fine with it.

Tyrus: Yeah, all fun and games until Charmy devours half of the ecosystem- MFMFMFMMFHSHSH THE BELL NWOLLE?!

Noelle: Please excuse my incredibly blunt squad-mate!

Leo: Well if the Queen seems okay with it, then I am too!

Rill: Yeah, she definitely seems to be pretty relaxed for a monarch. Know anyone that could take some pointers?

Noelle: I don't know if "relaxed" is the word I'd use for Queen Loropechika.

Loropechika: Anyhow... Brave Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom, we are truly grateful and honored by your presence.

Charlotte: It is the most sacred privilege to be in your care, Your Majesty.

Leo: Indeed, thanks for havin' us! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us!

Loropechika: That is the exact type of vigor and spirit that I love to see. Now then in regards to your training, Gaja would you like to explain?

Gaja: Very well, Queen Loropechika. I shall do the best I can. The first thing you all must know is that Spade has already succeeded in capturing most of the Diamond Kingdom's bases and that for now a majority of their invasion is at a standstill for the moment. In other words, it won't be for long until the aggressors decide their next plan of attack, meaning on us or the Clover Kingdom. To prepare for that, we will be subjecting each and every one of you to rigorous modes of training in order to accelerate your development and hopefully draw out your latent abilities.

Leo: Sounds good to me!

Charlotte: Yes. That's not a problem to any of us. As you explained, you believe it is imperative we improve quickly, and before Spade chooses to resume their hostile invasion.

Selene: So how do we go about this?

Gaja: Allow me to introduce you all to the Spirit Guardians, the ones who will be teaching you.

Four more pictures show up behind Loropechika as the Knights take a good look at Gaja's accomplices.

Gaja: First we have the Guardian of Earth, Sarado.

A neatly built and muscular woman puts a friendly hand up.

Sarado: It's nice to meet you all!

Gaja: Next, we have the Guardian of Plants. Potrof.

Potrof, a middle aged blonde man tips his hat, acknowledging the guests from the neighborhing Kingdom.

Potrof: Let us learn together and grow stronger together, yeah?

Gaja: The Guardian of Fire, Floga.

An incredibly jacked young brunette male, pops up and waves his hand.

Floga: Hey there! Work up a sweat you guys!

Gaja: And lastly but certainly not least by any imagination, the Guardian of Wind, Smurik.

He doesn't say anything but quietly acknowledges everyone.

Magna: They seem like such a pretty serious bunch, don't they?

Luck: Oh man, I can't decide out of them who I wanna spar with the most!

Gaja breaks the news and lets Luck down easy. There would be no choosing but rather, the Spirit Guardians were assigned.

Gaja: Captain Charlotte Roselei and Lady Mimosa Vermillion. You will be training under Sarado from here on out.

Mimosa: Understood, Sir.

Charlotte: We are ready.

Sarado: Super glad and looking forward to it, ladies!

Gaja: Finral, you'll be learning under Smurik first.

Finral: Copy, Sir!

Smurik: Hm.

Gaja: Captain Rill Boismortier, I'd like for you to start learning immediately under Potrof.

Rill: All right, let's get right to it then!

Potrof: Haha, I like your spirit kid! I'll be seeing you in the forest then!

Gaja: As for the rest of you, we'll be sticking to attributes. Meaning Lady Selene Hail, Sir Leopold Vermillion and Mr. Magna Swing, you will be training under Floga.

Leo: Don't go easy on me, you hear me!

Selene: The same goes for me, I've got a fire in my belly that needs satisification. This training is right up my alley!

Magna: Mm....

Floga: I like it! It seems like all three of you are taking this seriously! Can't wait to meet you trio of Magic Knights!

Gaja: And Luck, you'll begin training with me.

Luck: As long as you put a good fight up against me, you can teach me however you see fit, Gaja!

Asta: Hang on! Don't you think you might be forgetting about somebody here?

Gaja: I'm sorry Asta, but you don't possess any mana. Surely, that hasn't been lost on you? Spirit Guardians are gifted, but we can't create power out of nothing.

Asta: Wha? THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ME COMING?!

Gaja: You and your squadmate, Nero was her name, yes? You both are of the Arcane-Stage of mages, which means you both will give us an advantage over the devil. I'd like for you to face me in a battle, so that I might be able to gauge your strength and see where it is at currently. After that, we can decide how to best proceed forward.

Asta: All right, I'm looking forward to it then!

Gaja: As for the other arcane stage fighter that's on your head right now?

Loropechika: I will see to Nero's training myself.

Everyone stood shocked at the Queen's declaration,

Charlotte: She'll be training directly with Her Majesty?

Loropechika: I'm very excited to work with you, Nero. Undine and I will also be overseeing both of Noelle and Tyrus's training as they both are Water-based magic users.

Undine: Do your best, you two!

Noelle: Right. I'm ready.

Tyrus: Give us everything you've got and don't be afraid to push us past our breaking points. Noelle and I can more than handle our own weight.

Gaja: That should about cover all of the assignments.

Magna: Wait a second.

Asta: What's the matter, Magna?

Tyrus: You all right, man?

Magna: Luck here. We're always competing with one another, anyway I can train with you Gaja, so we can keep that goin'?

Gaja looks sternly at Magna but ultimately approves of the counter-proposal.

Gaja: Sounds fine by me, Mr. Swing.

Magna: YES! Fuckin' awesome!

Luck: Well, I really don't mind! But are you sure you can hack it against us?

Magna: Of course I can!

Gaja: It also goes without saying, that none of you are permanently bound by the assignments I've all chosen for you. Once your mana grows a bit, you can move to a different Spirit Guardian next to see what newer insights they may have to offer to you... that way you have a lot more to learn at your disposal.

Loropechika gives them a hardened, that usual clumsiness or awkwardness usually associated with the monarch now long gone, replaced with coolness and confidence in what would be a make or break alliance for the Clover and Heart Kingdoms.

Loropechika: Magic Knights, your training..... begins now! Please do not let us down.

Magic Knights: RIGHT!

Everyone had soon broken away for their own individual training sessions leaving Asta, Luck, Magna alone with Gaja in Loropechika's chambers.

Asta: Magna uses Flame Magic and Luck uses Lightning Magic. And both of those things are natural things, which is how you guys like to throw down in the Heart Kingdom, right?! Which means my friends should be more than capable, shouldn't they?

Gaja: On a more basic and fundamental level, I suppose that's one way of looking at it. First off Luck and Magna, I'm going to show you how can use natural mana to create what we like to call Mana Words.

He channels magic power into his hands, forming several letters at will.

Asta: Oh wow!

Magna: What the hell are we looking at?

Gaja: This right here is a necessary skill for combat here in the Heart Kingdom. You see gentlemen, when you build spells off of Mana Words, it then allows you to add simple commands into your techniques. For example, here Asta, I want you to do nothing but dodge this attack.

Asta: Uh, sure.

He steps to the right, doing nothing before the attack re-directs its course, hitting Asta and shocking the Black Bull every which way!

Gaja: See? Mana Words give the spell a more complex directive, such as if I said, "grow larger" or "pursue him".

Asta: Nuts!

Luck: Cool!

Magna: For sure, I need to learn that!

Sarado: All right! Plants grow from the earth. So for you both to strengthen your plant-based magic, you will start with the soil beneath our boots.

Mimosa: When you put it that way, I see why that makes sense.

Charlotte: The first step we must take is understanding the Earth, yes?

Sarado: It's better if I give you a straight on explanation, or rather a demostration.

She opens her grimoire, and it immediately springs up a couple of magic rune circles, escaping from their maw clumps of soil that then evolve into jagged rock teeth which nearly pierce the captain and newly promoted Magic Knight before they stopped short of their perfect faces, after which, they harmlessly dissipate.

Charlotte: So this is what the mages of the Heart Kingdom are capable of?

Sarado: Our magic attributes may be different. But we all need to be in tune with nature for a majority if not all of our spells so they can be used effectively. Soon as you both have a good grasp on that, your abilities in turn will grow rapidly!

Charlotte: That was a mighty display you put forth. Your magic type is similar is very similar to that of another one of my subordinates who isn't currently present here. But unlike hers, yours is actually more powerful and faster I would dare say.

Sarado: It seems you Clover Kingdom mages rely solely and heavily at that on your own mana without making use of the natural mana that surrounds you.

Mimosa: It sounds complicated, but we'll do our best!

Charlotte: If you don't mind us asking, how does it work?

Sarado: Easy! First you gotta gather it up in one giant area, with a "ker-swoosh!" then a big "kablammo!" and you're all set!

Mimosa: I'm sorry Sarado but we need you to be a bit more specific with us!

Sarado: Come on now, you gotta keep up. You sense the mana, and then "Ding-Ding-Ding!" We got ourselves a winner! One whoosh and then we get into the technical stuff later!

However, the Spirit Guardian's words continued to get lost on the mind of both ladies. Meanwhile in the mountain ranges, Smurik and Finral.... hadn't even begun to train. Rather the Guardian of Wind had been belting out a tune with nothing.... but a leaf.

Finral: This guy's way more different than I would've thought. Whoa!

A strong gust of winds blows past the Black Bull as the seldom speaking Guardian finally talks.

Smurik: The gusts that pour from the mountains, the breeze off of the ocean, they all pass through this lone valley.

Finral: Oh, okay! That makes sense as to why it's so windy over here.

Smurik: I had heard about the young man who was chosen by the Wind Spirit Sylph. I was truly very eager to meet him.

Finral: Oh right! You must mean Asta and Tyrus's rival, Yuno.

Smurik: But then, you were sent here in his stead. There must be a reason.... I wonder what it could be.

Finral: If I'm being honest, I'm pretty sure Gaja just figured we'd be a good match is all.

Suddenly much like Sarado had done previously to Charlotte and Mimosa, his grimoire spells out several magic runes, all armed with what appear to be wind dagger aimed at Finral.

Smurik: Well? It's your move, Finral.

He bolts immediately from the emerging disaster but as soon as he comes out from the other side, the same attack produces itself in front of him and relentlessly hit him with hurricane-like gusts.

Finral: HOW IS THIS TRAINING?! I know that's a dumb question, I know, but I honestly can't tell with you!

Smurik: Whether the purpose is for training or a real battle, the wind that blows between us remains the same. Wouldn't you agree?

Finral: I can't figure this guy out! Why all this unneccesary intensity?!

Smurik: Spatial Magic is mainly meant to support your friends and allies in battle. This is your biggest belief, yes?

Finral: Yeah, what of it?!

Smurik: Well then, if an enemy were to target you, do you expect your friends to drop everything they're doing to come rescue you? Do not be a liability, Finral.

Finral: I-

Smurik: Your purpose is so much greater than that.

Another rune appears underneath Finral which he's able to get out of the way of as it immediately spawns out a giant tornado.

Smurik: What will you do now?

Finral: I want to try again, that's what!

Smurik: Very well. Wherever the wind may blow then.

Not too far away, we find Flago still taking up on residence on the volcano as he surveyed the for the moment calm lava pits.

Flago: Yeah, that's what I'm talking about! Weather's perfect, absolutely nice for training.

Leo: I look forward to working with you, Floga, Sir!

Selene: As do I, teach us everything you know!

Floga: Like I said, loving the energy coming off of you both. But first things first. Let me see both of your magic ability. Maybe about seventy-five, eighty percent would be enough for a sample size.

Selene: Right!

Leo: Flame Magic, SPIRALLLLLL FLAMES!

Selene: Flame Magic, Volcanic Death Tempest!

They both give a demostration, firing off powerful and destructive attacks impressing the Guardian of Fire.

Floga: Not bad! If this is what you're both capable of at eighty percent, then I'd say you two have great potential just waiting to be unleashed!

Leo: That's nice and all but if you ask me, Sir. This wasn't half as good as I know I'm capable of.

Selene: Same here, I didn't come for pats on the back. I need to get stronger. For my sake.

Leo: I need to get as strong as possible, no way will I let an opportunity like this go to waste.

Floga looks at them both with a serious glint in his, appreciative that both of his temporary students weren't here for games.

Floga: Understood.

Leo: Also, I know this may sound or come off as rude and I hope it doesn't, but could you perhaps show Selene and I your powers, too?

Floga: I'm sorry, what?

Leo: That way, I can judge for myself whether I'd be able to learn much from you if at all.

Selene: Leo!

Floga: No, no. I can see where he's coming from somewhat. You both wish to see if you're worthy enough to learn from me yeah? Say no more.

He brings his grimoire up and not even five seconds a giant explosion erupts from one of Floga's magic rune, nearly sending the Magic Knights duo back reeling from the impact.

Floga: So does satisfy your question, Leopold?

Leo: Yes. I was a fool to ever doubt your immense strength, please forgive me.

Floga: Don't worry yourself too much. I don't mind it.

Leo: Those flames were so intense. They made mines look like child's play. I want to do that myself!

Floga: As you both are of royal or noble blood, your potential is far greater than my own. Once you learn how to harness the flow of natural mana around you, you should have no difficulty pulling off advanced techniques that are far more impressive than what I just showed you.

Selene: Sir, yes, Sir!

Floga: There's no doubt in my mind you two will get there, but gaining absolute control over natural mana isn't an easy thing to do especially overnight.

Leo: Thank you so much for taking us under your wing, Floga, Sir!

Magna continued to struggle forming his own set of Mana Words.

Asta: PUSH! PUSH! YOU CAN DO IT, MAGNA!

But unfortunately, his words fizzle out bot due to being distracted and his low production of Mana.

Magna: TCH. Damn it all!

Gaja: Mm. It's just as thought, Mr. Swing. Your magic is still far too weak. This is not an indictment, since I can tell you're an incredibly hard worker, but it just was not meant to be for you.

Magna: Too weak?!

Gaja: If I had to gauge you properly, you're currently sitting at the fifth stage in terms of magic power. But in order to use these techniques in battle, you'll need to be at least at a third stage if not higher than that.

Luck: HAHAHA! THIS IS SO MUCH FUN YOU GUYS!

The trio look to find Luck having virtually no struggles with his output of the Mana Words, juggling a variations in both of his palms.

Gaja: As I figured, Luck seems to have a latent knack for it.

Magna, not wanting to be dragged down any more further, turns on his heel and begins to walk away.

Luck: HAHAHA! Guess I'll be getting a whole lot stronger than you, Magna!

However Asta sensed the trepidation and rising anger out of his fellow Forsaken Realm commoner.

Asta: Wait, Magna-

Luck: Just let him be, Asta. If he can't get any better than what he is right now, then he won't be worth anything more than that. You get what I'm saying?

Gaja: I apologize for making you wait-

Asta: What was that?

Gaja: As I stated earlier, I'd like us to fight so I could get a better sense of your fighting ability and potential, Asta. Attack me with all of your God-given might.

Asta: I get to actually fight with someone who's on par with the Wizard King!

He immediately yanks the Demon-Slayer out of his grimoire, determined to best the Zero Stage mage and right hand man to Loropechika.

Asta: THEN MAY THE BEST MAN WIN, GAJA!

Tweet, tweet, tweet!

Potrof: All right, I think this is a good spot.

Rill: So what're you going to teach me first, Potrof?

Potrof: Why, I'm gonna show how to bask in natural mana first Rill, my good man! You see all the plants, sunlight, the ground, the water, wind and sunlight! This entire space we're standing in, it's teeming to the brim with life! Which also means, it's also rich with unlimited mana.

Rill looks around and starts to meld with the space he and the Guardian of Plants were in.

Rill: Now that you mention it, I think I'm already getting a feel for it all!

Potrof: GOOD! Never let go of that feeling! You're going to need Mana Words in order to master the many techniques we hold here in the Heart Kingdom. Listen close. Once you become one with the natural mana around you, you'll be able to use those words for spells. Watch and learn.

Tree roots spring up from various points and mana rune circles.

Rill: This is amazing! You know seeing all of this, seeing how you use your magic in such a creative is giving me a serious burst of innovation and inspiration!

Potrof: Then you should take a stab at it! Use mana words however you see fit and heart desires. They won't be perfect at first, but that's fine by me!

Rill: All right, giving my inspiration a whirl then!

He motions for his paint pad and brush, and with another ten seconds later a beautiful landscape appeared.

Potrof: All right not bad! Sure no mana words were but-

Rill: Ohhhhhh! I'm sorry Potrof, but the need to create and paint is welling up inside of me!

Potrof: I actually got an idea, I see that you're one heck of a painter, so how about we write them instead? Look, think, read and write!

He swipes his brush across, revealing several glowing words being spread across.

Rill: You... mean like this?

Soon the painting begins to glow furiously-

Rill: Whoa, look at that!

Potrof: Oh, my! And you only saw them one time! But don't let my stupor stop you, keep going Rill. No! Not the painting portion, my man!

Rill: Thanks for your help, Potrof... I think in time this painting will be a masterpiece and it'll be so much better because of you!

Potrof: Not the point.....

BOIIINNNG!

Charmy mistaking the peaches for being actual peaches, hits her head onto the painting shocking both Rill and the Guardian of Plants with her sudden arrival.

Charmy: Not realllll....

Rill: Hang on. You're one of the Black Bulls aren't you?

Potrof: Actually I recognize her as Queen Loropechika's official pet- I mean guest, of course. I apologize! Weren't you... eating back at the palace, ma'am?

Charmy: Well, yeah. But I may have kinda sorta ate everything they had there, so I figured I might as well go searching for some new and undiscovered treats!

Potrof blinked at her proclamation, not believing the human/dwarf hybrid.

Potrof: You actually.. ate the entire supply of food back at the palace?

Charmy: YEP!

Potrof: All right, since you did actually travel all of this way to the Heart Kingdom, how would you like to learn some of our special combat techniques?

Charmy: That... actually doesn't line up with any of my goals right now of devouring all of the delicious noms I can find.

Potrof: Aww, don't be that way, little one. Look these here are called Mana Words. They often come in handy.

She conjures up a cotton cloud, then promptly slaps a couple of words onto, and within twenty seconds, the cloud brings back three apples.

Potrof: Oh, wow! We might have ourselves another prodigy! But the execution could use a little work, the secret is that you have to be in touch with the natural mana around you-

Charmy: There MUST be more succulent and juicy fruit around here waiting to be devoured by yours truly in these woods!

Rill: I bet if we venture deeper into the forest, I might be able to find scenery that actually speaks to me for inspiration.

Potrof: I'm begging you two, please just listen to me for five seconds!

Meanwhile in Loropechika's personal chambers, we find Noelle, Secre and Tyrus staring at the Water Spirit Undine and her contracted user, the reigning monarch.

Noelle: Queen Loropechika, we're all set and ready to learn from you and Undine.

Tyrus: And it's like I said don't be afraid to push all three of us past our breaking points even if we by some way beg for you to stop.

Loropechika: Of course. But there's something I'd like to bring to your attention if you don't mind.

Tyrus: What's up?

Loropechika: I need you three... to rescue me. You see, if nothing changes by the time Spade predictably attempts to invade our kingdom, I'll be killed by this curse and very soon at that.

Noelle: You'll be okay.

Tyrus: We're going to make sure when all of this is over, the only thing that does any dying is Megicula.

Noelle: He's right, that's why we came here to train. To kill the devil and ensure you live a long life.

Loropechika: We are the ones who will defeat Megicula.

Tyrus: What do you mean, "We are the ones" are you saying the others serve no purpose, Loropechika?

Loropechika: No... perhaps maybe you misconstrued my words. Obviously striking down the Spade Kingdom's invasion will require the help of the other Magic Knights but.... Megicula hasn't fully manifested but rather it lives in someone. An extremely powerful and sadistic mage at that. Her name.... is Vanica. And the only way we can even hope to stand a chance against her and Megicula, is if Undine and I work together with the three of you.

Noelle: And you're saying you've already an idea of what this Vanica person can do in a summary, is that about it? She sounds pretty tough.

Tyrus: Only because she hasn't faced the likes of us. I can't wait to see what this person's so capable of if they got Loropechika spooked.

Undine: Having confidence is one thing I won't fault you for since you're still relatively new to her. And since I am the Water Spirit, it is my job to look after and fight alongside the queen, to protect her from any oncoming danger. But even with our combined might and battle instincts, we still weren't enough to curb Vanica's bloodlust and sadism. Because of my weakness, Her Majesty is now forced to live in fear for the day Vanica even attempts to finish the job on her life.

Loropechika: No, you will not do that. You're not at fault at all for the curse that was placed onto me, Undine. A person that was possessed by a devil is the lone reason I'm in the state I am, and they cannot be defeated by conventional means.

Noelle: I get it, so by teaming up with myself, Tyrus and Nero. You get some sort of special advantage when she actually does show up with Megicula in tow.

Tyrus: That sounds about right.

Loropechika: I'm not so sure of it yet. Yes, one of you is contracted and bound by the Ice Spirit, the other can access forbidden magic and the last one has vast amounts of mana to her. But I've since come to the conclusion that the six of us if we include Kuraokami should be more than feasible in terms of defeating Vanica.

Undine: Noelle, Nero, Tyrus. I hope the three of you are ready and agree to cooperate with us and save Loropechika's life.

Loropechika: With Nero's arcane-stage spells, and your two's teamwork and chemistry not to mention Tyrus's Spirit Dive which grants him unlimited boosts in both offense and defense, in addition to your combative spirits and fighting styles-- If we five train hard.... then there's no doubt in my mind we will become a lethal and formidable team the like that not even Vanica could hope to stand against on her own. And then hopefully when the time arrives, we can overpower Vanica and kill Megicula!

Tyrus: Hell yeah. No arguments outta me, Your Majesty. I'm itching for some payback in my own right when it comes to that devil.

Noelle: As am I. Nero, can we count you in, too?

Secre Yes.

Undine: We're grateful!

Noelle: No need for that.

Tyrus: Believe me when I say it again, Noelle and I? We both have a personal stake in this fight too, nothing would make us happier than taking down this Vanica and killing Megicula all together. It doesn't matter how strong you make them out to be.

Noelle: We will be the ones to take her down.

A visual of Acier and Vergil are shown behind their progenies, their motivations and voices ice-cold yet resolute.

Loropechika: Very well.... then let us begin on our training.

Tyrus: Noelle, you go Valkyrie, I'll go Spirit Dive right off the bat, Nero. Watch our backs.

Several water paladins form out of nothingness surrounding the newly augmented Noelle, transformed Tyrus and Nero.

Noelle: GO AHEAD AND DON'T HOLD BACK!

Tyrus: Crank the pressure up to an eleven. Throw the entire house at us, Loropechika!

The training sessions were intense, vicious, brutal and long-standing. Finral had been battered as indicated by the multiple scratches on his clothing as he avoided another volley of wind daggers launched by Smurik but every time he kept on, the pressure would only ever increase a small percentage, a testament to all of the Spirit Guardian's power.

Finral: AHHHH!

Smurik: You have the right idea. But if you can't figure out your opponent's attacks, then you're as good as defeated.

Finral: Come on Finral! You can't support anyone like this!

Charlotte: HAAAAAAAAAA!

Mimosa: MAGIC FLOWER- GAHHHHHH!

Sarado: You're doing great, ladies! Just keep on using your Mana Words, ya hear me?! I know you two'll get the hang of it eventually!

A mana circle appears in front of both Selene and Leo and they cast dual attacks through the twin runes, impressing Floga, Asta continuing to spar with Gaja, now in Black Asta state.

Asta: OH YEAH, I GOTCHA THIS TIME! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Gaja: Your power to invalidate magic is second to none, Asta. But you are just as narrow-minded to use it to its full potential.

Asta: I'M NOT DONE, LET'S KEEP ON GOIN'!

CLANG! BANG! ZAPPPPPPPPPP!

Asta: YEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!

Gaja: A fighting style that solely relies on your grit and determination is not a way you can win nor is it the optimal way to sustain you forever! To truly unlock your abilities, it only stands to reason and logic that you use them to back up your allies as well.

Asta: ONE MORE TIME! I WANNA GO ONE MORE TIME, GAJA!

Gaja: I suppose you won't be ultimately satisfied, with that advice alone.

Asta bolts for him again, throwing all of his weight and momentum into his next slash with the Demon Slayer sword, roaring like a lion.

Asta: HHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Finral: Day one and they're already running me ragged! And it's not just me, it's all of us!

We find Yami on Yultim Volcano, his own brand of training as the Black Bulls captain was catching a quick break as he kept in contact with Finral.

Yami: Yeah... you seeing any progress?

Finral: It seems like everyone has gotten the hang of the Heart Kingdom's special techniques. If the training's like this everyday, it'd surprise me if we weren't crazy strong and tough at the end of it all.

Yami: Good, keep it up then, Finral. Send the rest of the idiots, Prickly Princess and Paint-Boy my best. I gotta get back to it.

Finral: Right. I'll talk to you later, Captain Yami!

Yami: Looks like they're all workin' hard. Good. Pushin' past their limits is exactly the mantra they need to be subscribed to. But I can't let them beat me, time to up my own game as well!

He looks toward the erupting and spewing maw of the volcano, sensing an immense mana force embedded within the natural ticking time bomb!
