Stella looked up ahead and saw Kiara and her parents, along with a new lion with them.

"Kiara!" She ran towards her.

Kiara turned her head and was shocked.

"Stella!" She ran towards her as well and hugged each other.

"I'm so glad you're ok!" Kiara said.

"Me too! So what happened? How did you escape?" Kiara looked at the lion that was with them.

Stella looked at him and saw that he just looked at her with a blank stare.

"Who are you?"

"What? You don't recognize me?"

"No?"

Kiara whispered into her ear.

"Oh my god! Kovu!? That's really you!?"

"Mhm."

"Wow! It's so good to see you again!"

"Enough chatting! Let's go!" Simba said as he continued walking.

Stella looked at Simba confused.

"Simba? Is there something wrong?" Bliss asked but Simba ignored her and continued walking.

"What's with him?" Sonic asked.

"He's just not in the mood at the moment." Nala said as she followed him.

It was night time and they were at Pride Rock.

"I guess it's time to head back home." Bliss said.

When she pressed the button, she noticed that it wasn't working.

"What?"

"What's wrong Bliss?" Sonic asked.

"It won't turn on."

Sonic tried it as well but it didn't work.

"Not again..."

"What's happening?" Stella asked.

"Looks like we're stuck here." Sonic said.

"Where are we gonna sleep?" Stella asked.

"You can stay with us." Nala said.

"Really? Thank you so much!" Bliss said.

"You're welcome."

"But those two have to sleep out here. I don't trust them quite yet." Simba said as he walked inside his home.

Nala sighed and followed him. Bliss and Sonic walked inside as well.

Stella was about to walk in but then she saw Kiara talking to Kovu. Once she left his side, Stella looked at Virus who was sleeping. She looked down and thought to herself.

"Maybe I was to hard on him. I mean he did rescue me and the fire did almost kill me so I guess what he did wasn't to hurtful." Stella walked inside the cave and went to bed.

When she was gone, Virus opened his eyes and walked towards Kovu.

"Not bad dude."

"Whatever."

"What did Kiara say to you?"

"She wants me to help her with hunting."

"Good luck with that but don't forget about what we were sent here for."

"I won't. It will be worth it."

Virus nodded and walked towards his spot to get some sleep.

The next morning, Stella went out for a walk when suddenly, she hear a roar and saw Virus in from her.

"Morning."

"What are you doing?"

"I thought I help wake you up and join you for a walk."

"Oh great, who are you, Timon?"

"Who's Timon?"

Before she could answer, she heard a scream and ran towards it. Virus followed her and saw Kovu and Timon.

"Don't eat me please!"

"Kovu?" Kovu turned his head and saw Virus and Stella.

"What are you doing?" Virus asked.

Kovu moved away from Timon.

"I was just..."

"Timon. What are you here?" Kiara asked as she stood by Kovu.

"Kiara! Thank goodness! Oh! Hey! For once, we're not following ya. This happens to be the most best spot in the Pride Lands. Bugs everywhere! But you gotta deal with these guys and sheesh!"

"Get out of here! Shoo shoo!" The bird looked at Timon and pecked his nose.

"Ow!"

Pumbaa tried chasing the birds away but it did work. Kiara laughed a bit but stopped when she heard Pumbaa say,

"Oh Timon. I'm getting tired. I gotta lose some pounds."

"Shoo! Shoo! Come on! Shoo!" Kiara laughed as she and Kovu went closer to them.

"Hey! Maybe he can help! What do you think?"

"Shoo! Yeah sure. That's a good idea. Let an outsider...hey....wait! I have an idea!" Timon jumped off Pumbaa.

"What if he helps?" Timon said as he pointed at Kovu.

"What?"

"What exactly do you mean by help?" Virus asked.

Stella sat down and watched.

"Roar! Work with me!"

"Huh?"

"Like this." Kiara closed her eyes and roared loudly as the birds flew away.

"Woo hoo! Come on! Do it again! Do it again!"

Kovu roared as well and they started chasing the birds.

Virus looked at Stella with a smirk and followed them. Stella smiled and went after them, laughing.

"Why are we doing this? What's the point of this training?"

"Training? This is just for fun!"

"Fun?"

Kiara and Stella were laughing and Virus nudged Kovu a bit with a smirk as he continued running.

"Gees kid. You gotta get out more often. Fun! Yeehaw!" They started laughing and having fun until they ran into a herd of Rhinos. They quickly stopped running before they crashed into them.

"Uh oh."

The Rhinos growled at them as they quickly ran off. They did a sharp turn as the Rhinos began to catch up. Kiara and the others were able to hide except for Stella and Virus since there was no more room.

Stella looked both ways a bunch of times, trying to find a spot to get away from the Rhinos.

"Look out!" Virus pounced her, making her get out of the way of the Rhinos. They fell into a hole in the ground and Virus landed on Stella as their lips accidentally touch.

They looked at each other and widened her eyes. Virus slowly pulled away and stared at her nervously. Stella did the same without saying a word.

Suddenly, they heard Timon's voice.

"Hey! You ok down there!?"

Virus quickly got off her as Stella stood up.

"Yeah! We're ok!" Stella said.

Kovu helped pull them out and they shook the dust off themselves.

"Let's go." Timon said as they started walking away.

Virus placed his paw on Stella's shoulder, making her look at him.

"Hey uh... I'm sorry about what happened there. I...."

"Hey. Don't worry about it. Let's just go."

Virus nodded and followed the others. Later that night, Stella was looking at the sky while sitting like any animal would. She felt the breeze go through her fur but then she heard someone walking nearby.

"Hey."

"Hey."

Virus sat next to her.

"Where are the others?"

"Timon and Pumbaa went home and Kiara went to spend time with Kovu."

"Oh." Virus looked at the sky with her.

"So you didn't want to join them?"

"No. I just wanted some quiet time."

"Oh."

"By the way, how did you find this place anyway?"

Virus looked down, staying silent. Stella looked at him confused.

"It's a long story."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't want to talk about it ok? It was a long time ago since I remember."

"Wait, so you've been living here?"

"You could say that. My life has been pretty rough."

"I'm so sorry."

Virus continued to stare at the ground as he shoulders were up a bit. Stella gave him a hug which made him look at her.

"What are you doing?"

"I want to apologies from when we first met so this is a thank you for helping me out."

Virus closed his eyes as she hugged her but then he gently pushed her.

"Thanks but I think I'm gonna head back." Virus said as he started walking.

Stella just sat there as she watched him leave. She lowered her ears a bit and looked back at the stars.

Later, Stella came back to Pride Rock and saw Kiara walking inside the cave. Bliss walked towards Stella and hugged her. Stella hugged back and walked with her to the cave.

Sonic was by the cave and smiled as he hugged Stella. Stella hugged back and got ready for bed. Kovu lays by his spot outside the cave and so did Virus. Simba walked towards them with a smile.

"Come on in you two." They smiled at each other and walked inside together.

Vitani was watching from below.

"Come on Kovu! Get him!" She noticed that Kovu didn't try to attack him.

"What are you waiting for Kovu! Get him!" When they went inside, she got mad and ran to tell her mother.

Zira roared in anger as Vitani told her what happened.

"You sure!?"

"I saw it with my own eyes."

Zira growled softly as Scourge came by.

"Give him time. Things like this don't happen right away. Soon he'll be out numbered and you'll get what you want."

"This better work." Zira said as she walked away with Vitani.

"Come on son. You better know what you're doing." Scourge walked away, following the lionesses.
