Chapter 9 [Namjoon]

I was sitting behind the school building, closing my eyes and my earbuds, blasting with rap music in my ears, when Jungkook jerked me off from my world. I pulled out my earbuds and looked at him beside me.

Jungkook stood near me, panting, and behind him, at a little distance, stood y/n looking at me helplessly.

Something was definitely wrong!

"Hyung, hy-hyung..." Jungkook pulled my arm, calling me breathlessly.

"What happened? Why do you look so... panicked?" I asked, my gaze on him yet diverting towards Y/n a few times. Her hair looked a mess, and she looked undeniably beautiful... I shook my head a little and turned to Jungkook.

He gulped in once but didn't say anything. I looked towards Y/n and as our eyes met, she gave me a knowing nod... as if she knew I would understand it. And yes, I did...

Putting my phone and earbuds in my trousers' pocket, I stood up, looking at them both. "Let's go fast now!" Both gave me a nod. And with that, we three ran to the field.

Taehyung didn't stop his punches, even when Namjoon came at the spot. He sat over Jimin and kept punching him, letting out all his anger on his already wounded face. I winced as I heard Jimin's painful gasps and groans as he got beaten and beaten.

Namjoon pulled up both of them by their collars but Taehyung still tried attacking Jimin. But the grasp on their collars was strong enough to not let them move.

Jungkook helped Jimin to stand up properly and Namjoon pulled the other away, yelling at him for the scene he just created. Taehyung listened to Namjoon but stared daggers at Jimin, rubbing the blood and saliva from his mouth.

I just stood there in middle, neither moving nor talking. I was numb from witnessing such a wild scene before me and it guilts me more into thinking I was the reason for all this.

I looked down, biting away my tears. I can't cry now. Not when everyone is around.

Just then Jungkook started panicking, "Hyung, the principal is coming!"

Namjoon looked around and his eyes stopped at me. I gulped in once and in a matter of seconds, he held my hand and ran towards the back of the school building.
