Stretching his body, he got up and packing his things walks out of the cabin.

As he walked down the reception area, he saw receptionist also wrapping it up. He glanced at the time on his watch and saw it was very late.

He might be cold hearted business man but he wasn't that bad, he can also be softer for people who cares for him.

Neil sighs and taking a deep breath spoke.

Neil : shivangi, how will be going home?

Shivangi stops and looks up seeing Neil, she gasped. She looked at Neil in shock as she wasn't expecting him to be even though she knew he was in the office. 

Shivangi looks at Neil then turning diverting her gaze looks down.

Neil : I won't eat you up! How will you go home?

He repeated himself calmly and softly seeing her not responding him.

Shivangi looks at Neil.

Shivangi: I will taking the cab sir!

Neil : are you done locking up?

Shivangi: yes! I need to lock the front door only.

Neil : lock it and meet me in car park.

Neil walks towards car parking after he said to shivangi. Shivangi frowns but nevertheless locking the front door and grabbing her things.

Checking last time shivangi turning the lights off went out through back door, although she wanted to escape from there not getting notice by Neil but unfortunately he stood there leaning on his car with his stuffed in his pockets.

Shivangi sighing to herself takes step towards his car and calls his name out.

Shivangi: Neil sir, I can manage myself. You don't have to bother yourself.

She kind of got the idea that he might offer to drop her home, though she doesn't mind but doesn't want another gossip next morning in the office.

Neil looks at her.

Neil : get in the car, I will drop you home.

Shivangi: but!

Neil : get in!

He cuts her off in stern voice not wanting to argue with her. Shivangi shudders hearing his voice and opening the backseat door gets in.

Neil settling himself on the driver sit looks at shivangi through mirror.

Neil : address?

Neil drove to shivangi once she said where she lives. He drove silently keeping his focus on the road while in shivangi head a lot of thoughts were running.

Shivangi ( mind) : what I have got myself in? Tomorrow morning there will be new gossip. What will I say if anyone asks me about this?

She couldn't stop thinking about the gossip spreading out. She was scared thinking her colleagues will take her wrong.

Suddenly car stops making shivangi startled. She looks outside of the window and found herself at her destination.

She hurriedly thanking Neil and grabbing her things comes out of the car and rushed into her apartment making Neil chuckle as he watched her running inside the apartment.

Neil shook his head and glancing back, takes u-turn back to his mansion.

He rolls the window down allowing the cold breeze hits his face. He also turns the radio on and turning the volume low he drove the car while random thoughts running on his mind.

Neil comes out of the car once he gave the key to his watchman, he walks inside the mansion after unlocking the door.

Neil ran to his room, he starts unbuttoning his shirt buttons. He pulls shirt off from his body and threw it away on the couch, ruffling his hair he walks into washroom.

Sometime silence is something that is needed for a moment, that is what Avni is wishing to have.

She stood in the balcony and watched the clear sky. She didn't diverts her gaze away from the sky but continues staring at one particular spot trying to find unfolds answers of her own battles questions.

A door clicks opens, she turns her head inside the room and found the auntie there.

Auntie : I have brought dinner for you. You didn't come in kitchen.

Avni : I didn't feel hungry. I am still not hungry auntie. Please take it back.

Auntie placed the food on table and moves to balcony where Avni was standing there.

Auntie: why don't your feel hungry? Have something to eat before going to bed.

Avni : please auntie. I don't wanna eat anything.

Auntie : have something for me. Boss will scold me if he finds out that you didn't had your dinner. Please!

Avni sighs and moves back in the room. She sat on couch and taking small portions of food in plate she starts eating.

Each bite was hard for her to chew or shallow down, with difficulty she ate much as she could. She went to washroom to wash her hands.

Avni comes back in the room and saw auntie still there.

Avni : how you still on duty auntie?

Auntie : I am overwork as I took last week off due to my daughter's health. It's few days I will he working late. How have you been?

Avni : how have I been auntie? That is not question to ask, and I don't even know how to answer. That reminds me, how is your daughter? Is she okay?

Auntie: she is doing much better, just weakness.

Avni nodded her head as she slips herself under duvet.

Auntie: I will let you take some rest, I will see you tomorrow morning.

Avni : thank you anutie. Good night!

Auntie : good night my child.

Auntie pecking Avni's head and shutting the lights went out of the room.

As auntie shuts the door behind Avni opens her eyes and recalls how her mother use to give goodnight kisses every night. A tear trickles down her cheek.

She wipes it off and closed her eyes wanting to sleep and dream some magic to happen next morning she wakes up.

A loud bursting screeched were heard in the corridor, Avni jerkingly opens her eyes sitting on bed wondering who is screaming.

She also feared going down to see because she knows there would be trouble alluring around the mansion where she is captured by him.

It was just middle of the night, she thought who would be screaming their lungs out when everyone supposed to fall sleep.

Avni palming her ears laid back on the bed and covering herself tried to ignore the screams but she couldn't. As the second, the scream got louder.

She shuddered in fear, her body starts shivering thought of someone attacking her in the middle of night where no one could save her.

She wasn't aware if he back in the am aik but had doubt that he is back knowing in his presence no dares to scream. She tried to ignore the screams.

She spent another sleepless night all thanks the the screams that didn't stop. Avni gets down the bed and was about go inside the washroom but stopped as her room door opens.

She turns and looks at the person who comes in the room that early in the morning.

Person : hope you slept well darling?

Avni didn't say a word but heard him throwing another taunt.

Person : get habitual from now. You won't sleep. Either I will let you. I need you to get ready and meet in living hall within half an hour.

Avni nodding her head starts moving back to the washroom but she was pulled back. Her chest crashed into his, his grip tightened on her wrists.

Person : don't walk away unless I don't say so. Did you get that.

Avni : let.. me.. go.

She shutters muttering under her breath. He felt her wrist and pushed her back.

The person walks out of the room.  Avni controlling her tears headed to washroom.

As usually Neil woke up and got ready for work.

He skipped breakfast walks out of the mansion and getting inside the car drove to his office.

With his stern look and cold expressions he walks through corridor moving to his cabin, as he walked through corridor he did notice some people gossiping in the corner.

He knew it would about yesterday stunt but didn't bother giving heed to any nonsense gossip that has been reported in the office of him or anyone else. 

He enters in his cabin and placing his things on the desk, he took intercom and calls the receptionist.
