Nervously, you walk to your new school. You just moved here, so you're admittedly anxious. What if your schoolmates are awful? What if you don't make any new friends?

Shaking the negative thoughts from your mind, you walk past a large group of females who seem to be swooning over someone.

You pay them no attention, focusing on the building in front of you, your new school. You hesitantly open the door as the group of your peers approaches. The girls don't thank you for holding the door open for them, but you hardly expected them to.

The boy who seems to be the center of attention spares you a passing glance but doesn't say anything either. You simply smile anxiously and walk behind the seemingly gigantic male through the door.

You just know it'll be a long day.

The weeks go by and you eventually meet everyone in all your classes. No one seems to really click with you, though. Everyone keeps to their original friend group and you feel like an outsider.

You leave the school, glaring at the sunny sky. Of course the weather juxtaposes with your sour mood.

Since you're staring heavenwards, you don't see the hulking figure of Jotaro in front of you.

You've heard about him, how all the girls love him but he doesn't care and how dangerous he can be. You have a few classes with him and you haven't seen him smile once.

A soft thud is heard as you walk straight into the fellow student. Stunned, you stare at him and start to mumble an apology but he cuts you off.

"Watch where you're going, dumb bitch," he glares.

It takes you a split second to recognize the insult.

Instead of floundering and apologizing, you bite back, "Watch your language, dickhead. I was just about to apologize and you call me a bitch? It was an accident. It won't happen again."

You shove past him, ticked off. After the already crappy day, he had to put icing on the cake.

He watches you leave, touching the rim of his hat, "Good grief."

Your next 'run in' with Jotaro goes better than the last one.

He stands against the wall in an ally, smoking idly. There's not much to do today since school's out and he's not about to hang around his house where his mother would annoy him.

You're humming as you practically skip down the street. You just bought some new shoes and you're excited to show your mom. The bag swings in your hand, containing the shoebox.

A loud bout of laughter assaults your ears. Startled, you recognize the school bullies coming your way.

They've spotted you.

You curse and duck into the nearest alleyway, hoping to avoid the unpleasant teens.

As luck would have it, you almost ran into Jotaro again, but manage to come to a sharp halt.

He looks at you questioningly.

"I didn't know anyone was here," you try to explain, looking over your shoulder to see if the bullies have caught up yet.

He grunts, eyes peeking at you from beneath his hat.

You start to move around him but he pushes off the wall to block your path. Confused, you look at him with narrowed eyes.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" His low voice asks.

You glance backwards again, "Why do you care?"

"I don't."

"Then don't worry about it," you say, again trying to go past him.

Loud noises from behind you stops you in your tracks. They found you.

Jotaro looks at your face, noticing the dread painted on your features. He then glowers at the multiple bodies approaching.

He knows their reputation, picking on other students whenever they could. He's always avoided them and they've been wise enough to avoid him.

Until now.

"Jotaro, why are you hanging around that loser?" The ringleader asks with a sneer.

You stiffen. You've always hated being called names. If they didn't outnumber you, you would at least try to beat whoever dared throw insults your way.

Jotaro sighs, tipping his hat forward to hide his eyes, "Leave."

"What?"

"Get lost!" He yells, scaring the group. They dash away, clearly intimidated by Jotaro's terrifying aura.

You watch them flee, jealous of Jotaro's ability to scare them away. You're also grateful for his help.

"Thanks," you look him in his gorgeous eyes. "You didn't have to do that."

"I know," he says before sauntering away.

You stare after him, feeling a swell of gratitude towards the tough male.

Jotaro is sitting outside for lunch. He often tries to avoid as many people as he can during this time, despising the women that cling to him every chance they get.

You are searching for a nice quiet area to enjoy your food, hating the cafeteria because you never know where to sit. Anywhere secluded would be a godsend.

Soon enough, you find a small grouping of trees. You smile broadly and set you food down before seating yourself. As you get settled, you realize that this place isn't as secluded as you initially thought.

Jotaro stares at you. He watched closely as you made yourself comfortable, either ignoring him or simply not seeing him.

Now, like a deer in bright headlights, you return the stare, "Sorry, Jotaro. I didn't know this place was taken."

You stand, fully prepared to leave him alone and find a new place to eat.

"Good grief, sit down," he commands.

"You sure?"

He gives you a look that says, 'Don't make me change my mind.' So, you sit again and start to eat your food.

You brought some sushi and chopsticks, determined to practice using the utensils. You haven't had much experience with chopsticks, but you want to learn how to use them.

Jotaro says nothing as he watches you fumble with the utensils, shaking his head at the way you're holding them.

You struggle to lift a sushi roll only to have it fall back into the contain. You try again, having the same result.

Jotaro watches as you fail to place the food into your mouth. He huffs in amusement at your growing irritation.

"You're doing it wrong," he tells you after the tenth time.

"Huh?"

"You're holding them wrong," he continues. He moves himself to be right in front of you and takes the chopsticks from you.

"You're supposed to hold them like this," he shows you the proper way, deftly using them to pick up the food.

You watch closely at how he handles it. "Let me try again."

Carefully, you try to follow his instructions only to drop the sushi again. He shakes his head and takes your hand in his to readjust your grip.

He would never admit it, but he finds it cute how you're determined to master the chopsticks. The small frown you're wearing is also adorable.

His hand is warm atop yours, a fact that almost makes you flustered. He's practically holding your hand. You refocus on the technique.

Eventually, you mange to lift the roll without dropping it and eat it with immense satisfaction.

A bright grin replaces your concentrated scowl as you realize that you can finally use chopsticks.

"Thanks, Jotaro! I thought I'd never get it right."

He shrugs and backs away from you, "Don't mention it."

You finish your food as Jotaro finishes his just in time for the bell to ring. You smile at him before heading off to class.

Jotaro is distracted during his lesson.

Usually women annoy him to no end and he has to tell them off, but you haven't irritated him.

Sure, you did call him a dick, but he hand called you a bitch first so he deserved it.

He actually enjoyed eating lunch with you, surprisingly. He's interested to see in what way you'll run into him again
