"Randy, wake up. It's almost 7:30. I have to be at the school ground before 8:30 am." Nomi said, waking the boy up gently. Randy groaned and pulled Nomi's body closer to him, cuddling and purring from it. Nomi blushed a bit.

Just a bit.

"Nuu.. 10 more minutes.." Randy said, continuing to sleep soundly. How in the world can this small boy sleep so deeply? He must always be tired. Nomi wondered what Randy does every day, daily. The eye bags are visible just like on any other day. Did he stay up late? Well, he is a nerd so it's understandable. Studying every day must be hard for him. Especially when you're forced to be perfect.

Nomi hated that word.

"Randy, wake up, please. I need to get ready." Nomi said, gently lifting the little boy up. As soon as Randy got a good look, he blushed harder than red roses and fell down from his bed. He winced a bit and immediately got into an apology pose. Classic.

"I'm so sorry! Go get ready, I'll prepare everything else!" Randy said and rushed outside. Nomi was a bit surprised but shrugged it off. He went to the bathroom and magically got a new set of clothes. He walks downstairs as the smell of breakfast his senses. It smells wonderful.

Randy was making some scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon, a piece of toast, and some butter. There was also some freshly made warm tea with honey on the table. It looks amazing.

"Nomi, can you get some juice in the fridge? I'm low in vitamins." Randy said, flipping some pancakes and landing them on the plate. Nomi grabs the juice and pours it into a cup. Randy served everything on the table gently. This is a gourmet breakfast. Nomi really likes it.

"Thank you for the meal, Randy," Nomi said, feeling bad for eating in Randy's house. Randy shrugged and eats his breakfast peacefully.

"It's nothing, Nomi. If you want I can make you some food every day. My treat." Randy simply said with a gentle smile. Nomi loved that smile, but why? Was it gentle or genuine? Nomi wasn't sure. But he knew he wants to see that smile every day.

"Thank you, Randy. I appreciate that. I actually have some practice in the field for a few months, and it'll take some time before I could get a proper meal. The school cafeteria food is uh... How to say it?" Nomi thinks. Randy smirked.

"Absolutely indescribable?" He said and chuckled. Nomi chuckles from it as well.

"Exactly." He said and finished his meal. It was divine.

"I know, that's why I always make my lunch. Anything you prefer to eat during lunch and after sessions?" Randy asked, washing the dishes and cleaning things up fast before getting his backpack. Nomi thought a bit. It might be a bit too much.

"Um, anything simple but filling?" Nomi said, thinking more. Reminded him of his mom who always makes his lunch centuries ago. He missed her cooking so much. Randy's food actually has that touch of love that Nomi can detect from his mother's cooking. Care and love.

"Bento it is then. I'll make some for you, Nomi." Randy smiles and brushed his hair in front of the mirror. Nomi smiled and pet Ryden's head gently.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, Nomi."

Both of them laughed and went to school, talking to each other about random topics in mind. Randy found out that Nomi prefers apples over pumpkins, and chocolate before tea. It was a cute opinion.

"Say, Randy. Wanna see my next game tomorrow?" Nomi asked as they arrived in front of the classroom. Randy looks at his schedule, his ninja training is at night so he can do in to see Nomi's games for the whole season. Hey, he's a nerd. Of course, he knows about Nomi's whole schedule. That or he's a fanboy.

"Sure, I can't wait for it." Randy smiled in happiness. Nomi felt his heart skip a beat just then. Was it really love that made him like this? He's not sure at all. But he wanted to see Randy's smile more. It made him feel good.

"Nice. Well, time to head to our class. I'll see you at recess okay? In the library?" Nomi said as he was about to turn the other way. Randy nods his head sweetly.

"See ya later, Nomi!" He rushed towards his science class leaving Nomi chuckling. This boy is something.

At recess in the library, Randy was reading his favorite novel he often borrow there. A love story between a princess and a superstar, but because of their life their love felt forbidden until they ran away only for them to make a family and the princess's sudden death. It was a tragic love story but Randy enjoyed feeling the love and emotions the character has for each other.

"Poor little child, they don't deserve this ending," Randy said to himself, crying for the 5th time from reading the book. Nomi came and wipes Randy's tears away gently.

"Why are you crying, Randy?" He asked as he sat down next to him. Randy smiled and closed his book before taking his worksheet.

"Just a story I read. It's my personal favorite honestly. I often read it whenever I went to the library. It's a very tragic forbidden love story and it's amazing." Randy explained and looks at the worksheet for their project. Nomi got curious about the story, and listening to it from Randy's voice makes it feel like it happened in real life.

"My, it must be interesting." He commented and look at their worksheet. Randy gave Nomi the novel with a soft smile.

"You can borrow it if you want. I need to send it by next Friday so it's okay." He said and place the book in front of Nomi. Nomi looks at the book and reads the summary. It sounds very interesting.

"Very well, I'll read it soon. Let's continue our project shall we?" He said pinching Randy's cheeks. Randy giggles cutely from the pinch.

Cutely.

"Okay!" They both started to do their project and were halfway done. They returned back to their class and Nomi is having a substitute teacher. Perfect time to read that novel Randy gave to him.

He gently took the book out and quietly read the story. Line by line, words by words, it shows how much love was poured into this story. Randy wasn't kidding. The story is sentimental.

"Woah." Nomi simply said as he read the second chapter. The book has 12 chapters in total. The second chapter explained both character's stressful life, as a princess and a superstar. One bearing the responsibility for the kingdom and the other to entertain the fans and raise money for the company.

Nomi enjoyed the story, he already fantasized about his life about meeting a special someone. And for whatever reason, it's Randy in his mind. The cute smile, the beautiful blue eyes, soft purple hair, cute body-

'Nomi, control yourself damnit!' Nomi thought as he shook his head mentally. Randy's body? Never he would say Randy's body is cute. Nomi looks at the sky and his eyes glimmered.

He got a crush.
