1. What genre/s do you love reading?
I love reading romance/ dark romance as long as everyone is respectful to each other. I definitely have been getting into a little more action-romance recently and been loving it so far!
2. What genre/s do you love writing?
I honestly write the genres I love reading, because I know that I'll enjoy the writing process a lot. So most definitely dark romance and romance in general <3
3. Who inspired you to write?
I think it could be more a "what" than a "who" who inspired me to get into writing. Reading gave me the want to be as talented as these authors I was obsessed with and - I know it's going to sound weird - probably life experiences that turned into fake scenarios in my head. And singers too haha
4. Would you consider a career in writing? Please elaborate on whether you would or wouldn't.
I would definitely imagine myself a career as a writer. Though I certainly won't be doing ONLY that later, but just the way I'm currently doing. I love having more than one hobby and I think I'll have a couple of careers in the same time, (something related to politics, artist, and writer)
5. Do you have any other hobbies outside of writing?
I do!! I do art and use my free time to elaborate my creativity within a lot of things, such as crafting, drawing, painting, knitting and everything that's related to being artsy. Besides that, I'm a ballet dancer because my mom is one too and I practically spend my day singing (because my dad is a singer lol)
6. How old were you when you wrote your first book?
I was 9 *cries*, it was a small story about things going on in my family and people from my faked scenarios *dies cutely*, I didn't finish it though. It was just a small book I had written in my old phone's notes haha
7. Who is your favourite Wattpad author/s?
That's a really hard one to be honest...but by far the one who I seen put the most effort in her works is and I'm very glad to be friends with Nat :))
8. How do you deal with negative reviews on your book/s?
If they go over the lines (such as insulting characters based on their pasts) I'll delete them. I've had to delete only a few but if they're not to the point of saying slurs about my characters, I'll let them for the sake of the algorithm.
9. If you would write a book about your life, what would be the book's title?
It would probably be "Finicky" (being picky at some things and being basically a perfectionist, not happy with everything in short.) I actually thought about it yesterday lmao
10. What's the hardest thing about becoming an author?
Publishing, definitely! Writing can be scary at first because you don't know what words to put down. I actually thought for days before starting to write my first proper book, and then when I finally started, it went very easily and I was happily surprised <3
11. How has writing affected your life?
It's changed my life in a lot of positive ways, I've been able to write down my frustration more and it really eased my mental health. I don't overthink as much as I used too, but you have to be careful not to let it take over your emotions. In your own book, you're the one in control, things will go however YOU want and if you write how people would like, it'll have a negative impact on your mental health- therefore life - immediately.
12. Do you prefer writing Mature content or not? Why or why not?
I dooooo!!! I love it because it's a way to express things I can't say out loud, and here again, put into words my fake scenarios that hung in my dreams for dear life until I could make them come to life in a way in my books :,)
13. What would you like to say to your readers?
I'd like to thank them for being so kind to me and taking the time to read my works. Reading books has been very life changing for me and imagining that maybe some people out there felt the same way with mine is just incredible. I'm also very much mind blown when seeing it be added to reading lists with only stories having more than 1M+ reads, wow
The following questions are based on one book:
A. What book are you most proud of and what genre is it?
The one I'm most proud of is the only I've published so far, it's called Atlantico. It's a romance, action/dark AND spicy romance, because that's exactly what I wanted to read the night I started writing it haha. I have to say that I'm pretty proud of the story I'm currently writing and very excited for it to be published soon ;D
B. If you could meet the characters in this book, what would you say to them?
I'd LOVE to meet one of my main characters Melrose Stevens, but I made her be so much like me that it wouldn't really surprise me to meet her lol *crying emoji*. I'd definitely tell her that Chase is a good guy and that she can put her guards down haha
C. Is there a character in this book you feel connected? If so, in what way do you feel connected with them?
Well here again, Melrose *sarcastic sobs*, everything about her personality, weird reactions she's known for having or her nymph tendencies is literally me. And I loved the way I portrayed her mental issues too, really made me more aware of my own feelings
D. If you were placed in this book, what character do you think you'd be best friends with and why?
I'd sure as HELL be best friends with Catalina, (Chase's sister) or Hayden and Eveline, (Melrose's best friends). I really imagine myself as Melrose so it would definitely be her answer hahahha <33
