Eden's bridge was activated but not by her. Her systems were once more full operating, scanning the house and people who were behind the walls. A team of armed men was coming for them. There was no time left. Ed was down on the floor. He was suffocating. His tongue was blocking his airway. The men came closer to their doorway with every beat of her heart. Even if those men weren't sent by Atlantis, Atlantis was already receiving every piece of information she had. She had no other option if she wanted them to get alive out of there. She took a deep breath and rebooted her system.

She collapsed on the floor the moment the reboot started. She didn't have the time to do anything but she was certain that a crow appeared out of nowhere and threw the box on the floor before she opened her grip falling down on the floor.

A few seconds later she opened her eyes. She was on the floor next to Ed who had turned from pale to almost blue. The piece of hardware was on her palm. Ed was no longer moving.

"ΝΙΨΟΝ ΑΝΟΜΗΜΑΤΑ ΜΗ ΜΟΝΑΝ ΟΨΙΝ" was written on it forming a circle. That quote was written in ancient Greek meaning "wash your sins, not just your face." It was a special palindrome, mirror quote that could be read forwards and backwards at the same time. No matter the direction, it made no difference.

She rolled over and got closer to Ed. Eden looked at his bleeding face and she stood there for a moment.

"Wash your sins, not just your face." She thought to herself as the men were trying to break down the front door. She took the piece of hardware and she placed on Ed's bridge; nothing happened. The door wasn't going to hold for much longer. She noticed Shylock lying next to Ed. She took it as she saw the Ouroborus seal glowing on its handle. She removed it, placed the hardware on top of it and then she put it again on top of Ed's bridge. They had run out of time. She punched the new piece of hardware. It was either going to work, or kill him.

Three men run into the room with their guns pointing to them. Everything was lost. There was no way out. Ed was dead. She wasn't that smart after all despite all that technology implanted on her.
