Nothing much happened for a couple of days. Y/N would walk her usual route, be greeted by friendly villagers, buy some Dango, and get an earful from Haganezuka about how little Dango she bought. Thinking that she had some time, she wanted to visit the old tree that held a lot of her memories. Night came and everyone went to sleep. She slipped on a warm set of clothing and heads out of the village to that specific tree. The huge tree came to view, standing tall and majestic under the moonlight. Her hand caresses the tree, thinking back on the memories that were captured under it.

"Mom, Dad, Sis... I'm back here where we had our last meal... I hope you are all doing well in heaven."

Hot tears flowed down her cheeks. Her family died to a demon attack, only she was saved by a demon slayer. They were innocent people that did not deserve to die in such a way. The faces that contorted painfully and their blood-curdling scream was so fresh in her mind.

"Y/N?"

She turns her body around and faces someone she never expected to see.

"Haganezuka?"

"What are you doing up so late?"

She wipes her tears away and smiles as if nothing happens.

"I just wanted to take a stroll. What about you?"

He points towards a bag full of swords.

"Delivering to some brats that broke their swords."

"This late?"

"Yeah. I want to get it done and over with."

"I found you."

The two of them turned their head towards an enormous demon, face dripping with venomous saliva as it approached them. Y/N's lips trembled, recognizing the appearance.

"You're the last one to kill. I keep families together. Don't you want to be with them?"

On its arm, the heads of her family appeared. That night, their heads were severed and nowhere to be found. The skin was sunken and rotting, sticking onto the skull.

"H-Haganezuka, stay back."

"I see... You've become a demon slayer. That makes you tastier~"

The male runs behind some bushes, letting the female do her job. She pulls out her sword, aiming directly at the monster.

"I'll kill you. I'll slice your head off for the sake of all those you killed."

"Let's see. I think I'll get to taste your blood first."

The demon reaches towards her with such force, colliding into the tree as she avoided its fist. Her lighter body runs quickly up its arm, slashing the limb off. The male was entranced by the fluid movement and it was as if she was dancing gracefully in the air.

"Astro Breathing, First form: Nebula Star Smash!"

As if she got faster, she swings her blade, cutting anything cleanly within the range of her blade. Unlucky for her, the demon blocked her attack with its other hand.

"Not so fast, little girl."

Its other hand that regenerated grabbed her body, squeezing her tightly on the verge of her bones cracking. Haganezuka grips onto his bag, watching in fear as the girl gets squeezed by the demon. She was losing her breath.

"Y/N!"

"Stay back!"

"There's someone watching? Let's make it interesting~"

She gritted her teeth, slowly breathing as she tries to concentrate on stabilizing her body.

"When I was a human, the body of young women was the best..."

Haganezuka whispered,

"What the heck is wrong with this demon?! Y/N..."

One hand tore her clothing while the other held her tight, revealing the black lacey bra that she bought the other day. The male's face brightened from surprise,

Hotaru! This isn't the time to blush!

Y/N wasn't phased with it because her concentration was elsewhere. When she felt a small release in its grip, she slams her legs down harshly onto its skin. Her body was let go and she runs to grab her sword.

"Astro breathing, Seventh form: Planetary striking wave!"

The demon's body breaks down into pieces as it degenerated.

"H-How?!"

"Never underestimate a 'little girl'."

The demon disappears, leaving the night to its peaceful state.

"Haganezuka, it's safe to come out now."

The man stands up from behind the bush and scratches the back of his head. 

"Thanks."

"Not a big deal."

"Here."

Haganezuka takes off his jacket and passes it to her. She then looks down at her ripped clothing and quickly pulls it on.

"T-thanks."

"Well then, I'll head off now to deliver these swords. See you."

"B-Bye..."
