A/N: so I know I said this will be all Adrienette but I kind of want to add some DJWifi too. This chapter will be what's happening with Nino and Alya. Just remember none of Adrien's friends know he is coming back yet soooo ya...hope you enjoy...this is also when they are still in school...so 10th grade and before Adrien's dad told Adrien his news

"I feel so bad about what's going on with Marinette, Nino," Alya confesses.

"I know, me too, but we just have to hold on to the hope Adrien will return soon," Nino says back.

"I know, but soon is not enough. Marinette is my best friend and she has literally secluded into her own world since Adrien left. You know what? I can't keep living like this, without her! I am gonna do something!" Alya decides.

"Okay, Dudette, I will help," Nino replies.

"Thanks Nino!!"

"No problem."

"Okay, first things first, where does she always go when she walks away from Chloe??" Alya questions.

"Oooooooo, ummmm, that is a problem...how about we quietly follow her?" Nino tries.

"No, we can't. Wherever she is going, I know it must have meaning to her. I will not interrupt her privacy," Alya sighs.

"Okay...then, why don't we just tell her she can lean on us if she has trouble?" Nino asks, " I mean it's not much but it can be a start, right?"

"Okay, let's go!" Alya says encouragingly.

::: Alya and Nino find Marinette in the deepest part of library sitting curled up

(A/N: that's not her special place.... Marinette was just there in the library at the time)

"Wait here," Alya whispers to Nino, spotting Marinette.

Alya slowly and quietly approaches Marinette. She sits down beside her friend and hugs her curled up body. Marinette looks up to see Alya.

"Hey Alya....and Nino..." Marinette quietly speaks.

Nino walk over and crouches down beside the girls.

"Hi, how you doin'?" asks Nino.

Not satisfied with Nino's attempt to help Marinette, Alya punches him on his arm.

"Owww, that hurt!"

"Well, that's what you get for being a stupid lug! What he means to say Marinette, is that even though Adrien left, you still have us. We will be here for you no matter what. Okay?" Alya says.

"Ya, Dudette, always come to us when you have a problem with something or someone," Nino responds questioningly, raising his arms up to protect himself from a possible punch to come his way.

Instead, he removes his arms to see a smiling Alya. Marinette then looks at Alya and Nino and sees what's going on between them.

How could I have been so stupid?! They like each other! Ahhhh my bestie likes someone, andjskriwh!! Okay, I think they're right, time to pull myself together!! And time to launch Operation DJWifi!!!, Marinette thought.

"Thanks guys, I appreciate it, let's get to class, why don't we?" Marinette says happily, standing up offering her hands to her friends still on the floor staring at her in shock.

"Come on let's go you two!" she says, pulling up Nino and Alya from the floor.

"Yaaaa Marinette is back!!!" Alya says hugging and high-fiving her bestie.

"Happy to see you're happy again Marinette!!" Nino also adds.

Arm in arm, the three walk to class together with springs in their steps.

***After school that day

Nino, Alya, and Marinette were speaking together at the front of the school building when they annoyingly got interrupted.

"Ohhhhh Marinette, may I speak to you?!" Chloe, yes Chloe, asked.

Looking at her friends, Marinette walked over to Chloe and Sabrina, confusion in her mind on why CHLOE wanted to see her.

"Heyyyyy Marinette! How are you, oh wait I don't really care how YOU are!! Hahaha!! Okay to get to the point....it isn't a joke that Adrien said he was returning in a few years and that may be in the next few years, right?"

"Uhhh...I... guess," Marinette answered.

"Well, when he does return, I want your dirty little hands to STAY AWAY FROM HIM. He is obviously my soulmate because we adore each other. He also pry already forgot about you anyways. I mean you were always clinging to him, oblivious to how much he disliked it. So anyways, you got it you piece of poop?!?! Good... bye stupid!!" Chloe said angrily, dragging Sabrina with her.

Looking at Alya and Nino, she made her way back over to them and used their advice.

"Can I lean on you guys now...???" she reluctantly asked.

"Of course," Alya said embracing her friend.

"What'd she tell you Marinette?" Nino asked, adding himself into the hug.

Unable and unwilling to tell them, Marinette just replied in a sniffle, "...Adrien..."

"Oh, girl, don't listen to her. She's the one with fish guts for brains. Whatever she said, it's not true..." Alya replied, knowing how sore the Adrien topic was for all of them.

"Yaa, Dudette. She is a monster, you are an angel. Adrien is glad to have a wonderful friend like you. Okay?" Nino comfortingly added after Alya's statements.

Looking up at them with red eyes, she nodded, "I know, and thanks, but it just hurts...." Marinette squeezed out.

"We know, let it out...we will get through this together. Shhhh....it's okay," Alya comforted.

Marinette nodded starting to feel better with the help from her friends. She was definitely gonna start leaning on them more. It helped to ease her pain. With that, she squeezed Alya and Nino and smiled a soft smile.

People have been telling and asking why Chloe has to be so mean, and I'm sorry but it is to get the story where I want it to go.
