“Hyung!”
At last, Yeonjun managed to get Taehyung out of his daze. Ever since the meeting earlier, the older seemed to be in a deep thought and was so out of it. Jimin and Yeonjun kept on talking on their way back to the company and to their house but the model didn't pay them any attention and didn't interact with them at all. It was unusual, considering that Taehyung is a talker himself and would not let any opportunity slip if it's about gossip.
But there he was, zoning out.
The reason? The two males don't know what.
“Huh?”
“I asked you which outfit suits me better, the blue one or the green one?”
Jimin raised his brow at Yeonjun's question but shrugged it off nonetheless, also intrigued on what Taehyung's answer would be.
“Oh, uhm.... the green one?” Although hesitant and clueless about what Yeonjun was talking about, he still gave an answer. Oblivious to the fact that the younger was just testing him.
The youngest out of the three sighs, leaning closer to his hyung and wrapping one arm around his shoulders, “See? You weren't listening. You haven't been paying attention since the meeting, like did it really bore you that much that you lost your brain? We aren't even at the mall Taehyungie hyung.”
Now snapping out of it, Taehyung takes a look around and realizes that they are cozily sitting on a couch, with boxes of pizza and chicken, cans of soda and some sweets on the coffee table while a movie he has no idea what is playing on the background, obviously forgotten.
He blinks at the two, “Oh.”
Jimin, being the curious little shit that he is, made it a plan to make Taehyung spill whatever it is that keeping him in deep thought. “Seriously Taehyung? What's wrong? Was the CEO a secret ex or something?”
Taehyung widened his eyes, gasping and slapping Jimin's arm in the process, “The fuck? Course not!”
“Ow!” the latter complains, “I was just asking! Don't need to be violent.”
Taehyung sighs, he looks to be having a dilemma now inside his head. Turning to look at a confused Yeonjun, the elder became serious but it is clear that he's a bit hesitant.
“Just say whatever it is, hyung. You look so troubled– it doesn't suit you.” The younger male eyed his cousin, the kind of look you get from someone when they were urging you to say something– especially when it's tea.
Yeah, that kind of look.
Deciding to stop dwelling on it, Taehyung suddenly grabs Yeonjun's shoulder causing him to be startled.
He takes a final glimpse at Jimin, who's sitting beside Yeonjun watching the scene unfolds in front of him.
“Junnie, I think they know about your little secret.”
It doesn't take long for Yeonjun to panic, widening his eyes and dropping his jaw, it was now his turn to grip Taehyung's shoulder. “You think so? Oh my god! How did they even– How did you kno– What am I gonna do– Wait! Which secret!?”
Internally facepalming himself, Taehyung tried to calm Yeonjun down a bit. He leans forward the boy and whispers, “The marriage, Junnie.”
Yeonjun could now feel his body running cold. His palms are starting to sweat and his throat feels like tightening but he still tried to think his way through it, it couldn't possibly be like that.
Right?
How did they even find out? He swears he was so discreet about it. Heck, he doesn't even behave like he's married. How can he? He hasn't even met his supposedly husband properly yet!
Not like he wants to meet him, but they have to meet. If they want to fix it.
And they want to.
“What makes you say that? Are you sure they know? I mean if they do, they would've lashed out to me first, right? Hyung, do you think I'll get kick out of the house? Where will I live? What if they cut out my card too? How am I suppose to survive? Do you think I should start looking for him? Hyung what–”
“Yeonjun I said I think. Calm down!”
“But what if they do know? I wouldn't know what to do!”
“That's why we have to have a plan,” Yeonjun brings his full focus onto what his hyung is about to say. He has to listen well because his life is what his gambling in this game right here. “Listen–”
A cough interrupted the two.
They must have forgotten about another human being's presence in there with them– talking oh-so-seriously, unaware that someone is there, just a few centimetres away from them and is really capable of hearing everything they were saying.
And that presence finally decided to break free from his confusion.
The two cousins froze for a second before shifting their attention to a perplexed Jimin, both with a not-so-convincing innocent smiles on their faces. Both of them hoping that the male will somehow buy it, praying that he wouldn't be suspicious and that he didn't hear anything.
But sometimes you don't get what you want in life.
Because Jimin heard all of it.
“In case you forgot, I'm right here and don't even try to deny anything because I heard it all.” Jimin glared at the two, Taehyung winced while Yeonjun bit his lip out of nervousness. “And what the hell do you mean about Yeonjun's marriage?”
Oh well, telling Jimin wouldn't make that much of a difference now, would it?
So that's what they did. They told Jimin about Yeonjun's wonderful story, surprising the eldest. Fortunately, Jimin understands Yeonjun's situation and did not judge the poor male, but he couldn't help but think that it was an idiotic thing to do. Who the fuck get married while drunk? And why the fuck did people approve of that?
Internally shaking his head in pure disapproval, Jimin listens intently on Yeonjun's problem and the youngest was thankful for that. Maybe Jimin could help him about this. After all, he's a knowing man and he might have some connections so it would be easy.
“I'm sorry I can't help you.”
“WHAT!?” Yeonjun and Taehyung yelled at the same time, both of them wearing the expression of pure fright and disappointment.
Jimin grimaced at the two, “The fuck you take me for? I'm a secretary– in the business field, okay? I don't know shits about marriage and separation.” He then stops and turns to look at Yeonjun, he squints his eyes at the latter and says, “Who did you even marry, anyway?”
Letting out a groan of frustration, Yeonjun brings his hands up to his face and lets out a sigh. “Choi Soobin.”
“WHAT THE FUCK!?”
Taehyung smacked Jimin at the back of his head for being too loud. He knows it's surprising, okay? But he didn't have to be so dramatic over it.
“Ow! The fuck bitch?” Jimin glared at Taehyung, rubbing the spot where he was hit.
“You were so loud, I had to.”
“Whatever.” He rolled his eyes at Taehyung and turned his attention back at Yeonjun. “For knowing that fact, I guarantee that you're in a really big trouble, kid.”
“Yeah, thanks for telling me that.” Yeonjun sarcastically spat back. He knows all the things that could go wrong in his life, alright? No need to point that out. He's already stress enough.
“But Tae hyung, what makes you think that my parents already know about it?” He now voiced out the thought that's been bothering him ever since Taehyung mentioned it. He just doesn't get it, if they do, they would've been lashing out to him now.
“Yeonjun are you really that dumb?”
“Hey!”
“Shuttup. Now answer this, what is the president's name?” Taehyung stares at Yeonjun with one of his eyebrows raised.
“Moon Jae In?” The younger answered, a little skeptical.
He doesn't know where is this heading. What's the connection between the president's name and his problem?
“He's really that dumb.” Said Jimin, now taking a piece of pizza and shoving it down his throat.
Taehyung face-palmed, “Idiot. The CEO Junnie, I meant the company's president.”
“Oh, haha.” Yeonjun awkwardly scrath his head. “Mr. Kim?”
“Kim?”
“Kim Seokjin?”
Taehyung claps, his face now showing expectation. “And who is Kim Seokjin's lovely brother?”
Oh no.
Yeonjun's eyes widened, his grip on the soda can he just opened loosened, causing it to fall to ground and creates a mess. He's panicking, he doesn't know what to do nor where to look, he just sat there, eyes closed while feeling light headed.
“Do you think dad sent me there because he found out I married the CEO's brother?”
