2019

Here it is, folks, the recap of my year. It's had its highs and lows, but I think I can say that 2019 has been an okayish year.

January- Had to adjust to my mom's husband and my stepbrothers leaving.
I got my driver's license before my brother got his license (which he got the week after) We got two puppies! I saw Mary Poppins Returns with my sister.

February- I had plans to work on The Revolution of Oz more. That didn't happen, as I got really, really depressed.

March- I went to see Captain Marvel with a friend. I got pulled over for speeding on my way there. Luckily I got a warning, not a ticket.

April- I went to see Avengers: Endgame on opening night with my sister. I start conceiving the idea of Twisted Roots, my WIP.

May- My brother, the one who got his license, went to go live with our dad and started EMT training.
We pulled the floor up to a horrible, horrible mess. A lot of it was rotted, and our dining table would've fell in if it weren't for the flooring on top. Mold also covered the concrete and had to be cleaned.

June- The floor is still being worked on. I start writing Twisted Roots. Melissa and I finished the Twilight movies. I GOT TO MEET JULIANNE IN PERSON!!!! We met up at a frozen custard place and she got a sundae and I got a peach milkshake. We went to see Aladdin together.

July-The floor FINALLY got done. Melissa and I started watching Doctor Who together. I watched Spider Man Far From Home.

August- I got my first car! It's an Isuzu Rodeo— they don't make them anymore.
I also went to the local Comic Con and cosplayed as the Thirteenth Doctor. There were TONS of people there, more than I had ever seen at the previous cons. I also got to see the local annual play in my town. Then a week later I got to see the tenth anniversary showing of David Tennant's last episode of Doctor Who (before Day of the Doctor).
I also started my classes at the community college.

September- Classes, classes, classes. The whole month was snatched by them. I drove SO DANG MUCH going back and forth between school, my siblings' schools, and home.

October- The first part of October went by in a blur. My youngest brother turned four. I turned nineteen. I celebrated the day before my actual birthday and got to see Maleficent 2, had pumpkin pie, and got Vans shoes.
The day after my birthday a deer hit my car when I was taking my siblings to school. It bent a front panel by the left front fender and broke the headlight. I got the news that TRU, TobyMac's son, died. I cried like a baby all day.
I also had my worst trip to Great Wolf Lodge. I also decided to go into technical writing instead of ultrasound in October or November.

November- NaNo started. I got to see Frozen 2. November was a mess of school and writing. Messy writing for a project other than Twisted Roots, in fact.

December- The first half is snatched by finals. The second half is snatched by the holiday break. The majority of time before Christmas was consumed with sadness over feeling like Christmas wasn't coming, but relief came when Christmas ended. December has definitely been a month of things being over and feeling relief when they end.

Here's to another year gone by, and to a fresh new year and decade.
