So, last year in March my dad told my mom that he was having an affair with another woman. I decided to never speak to him again.

Mom really wanted to work things out, and had them both go to counseling.

In May, he 'left' but he came back later that evening, claiming to love my mom too much to leave.

In July, he was in Wisconsin on a trip for work, and he called my mom and told her that he was leaving. He had used the time between May and then to set up a new bank account and get his finances prepared.

By August, he officially moved out and into his new apartment.

The divorce has finalized this January.

A year later, I still haven't talked to him. He doesn't even try to contact me in any way, so I guess you could say that it's mutual between us.

My mom told me that while they were in counseling together, my dad had given the counselor him this number for some sort of psychological thing and that the counselor looked scared upon seeing that.

From my own research and deductions, I realized that my dad's a narcisstic sociopath. 

He did a quite a bit of damage to my family, and he still manipulates my younger brothers (who see him) by telling them that church is 'boring' and stuff like that.

Things at home are a lot better now that he's gone. 

My mom has a boyfriend and they plan on getting married soon and my dad's no longer around to gaslight her. :)
